THE NEXT MORNING
Elena was dressing Ava up when they heard a knock.
“Who is that, this early morning?” Harrison asked Elena.
“I don’t know, you go check please,”
Elena replied
Harrison went to the door and opened it.
He was surprised.
“Doctor Jayden!” He called.
“Mr Harrison, surprise to see me?”
Doctor Jayden asked.
“Yeah I mean, what will bring you to my house?”
Harrison asked.
“Good morning doctor.” Ava greeted.
“Morning sweetheart, how are you doing?” Doctor Jayden asked forcing a smile.
“I’m good, if I grow up, I want to become a doctor like you,” Ava said.
“That’s nice Ava, Uhm, Mr Harrison, Mrs Elena, if you don’t mind can I talk to you both alone? Without Ava, is really important.” Doctor Jayden pleaded.
“I’m getting Ava ready for school, maybe the driver should take her to school then,” Elena said.
“Ava baby, the driver will drive you to school, Mama will be busy okay.”
Elena said to Ava.
“Okay Mama, bye,” Ava said.
“Bye, I love you, muah,” Elena said and peak her.
Ava ran to the door and exist the room.
“So doctor Jayden, what’s that very important something that you want us to discuss without Ava?” Harrison asked.
“I don’t know how you will take this, but I’m ready for any punishment, I’m guilty, I’m a bad doctor,” Jayden said.
“What happened?” Elena asked curiously.
“Ava is not Harrison's biological daughter.”
Jayden exclaimed.
“What!!” They asked in unison.
“This is a joke, huh, you confirmed the test and you said it shows positive,” Harrison yelled.
“The thing was, Sara first came to my office and pleaded with me to fake the results and she will pay me huge amount of money, because Ava is neither your child, not Sara’s child, I was so disappointed in her that I sent her out of my office in anger threatening her to call the securities, few minutes after she left, a masked guy entered my office through the window, pointing a gun at me, and when I ask who he was, he laugh and told me he is the angel of death, and the only thing I can do to save my self is to fake the results, I told him to kill me for I will never do something like that, he laughed for the second time and told me he won’t kill me, rather he will kill my daughter, he show me a video of a guy with sniper gun targeting my daughter head at her school, her mum died, I have no one but her, I love her so much and I can’t see her death, I agreed to do as he said, and that time you entered the office, he was actually inside the office hiding by the curtain window, I’m really sorry but Ava is neither your child nor Sara’s child.”
Doctor Jayden narrated
“Oh my God, I’m so sorry for that, I can’t believe Sara could do this, so upon everything, Ava is not my biological daughter,” Harrison said sadly.
“But I heard the masked guy talking with Sara, and she called him Jason.”
Doctor Jayden added.
“I knew it, he is the only devil on Earth that can do this, he won’t get away from this.” Harrison spat.
“If Sara is not Ava’s mum, that means Ava has her parents, we need to go back to the orphanage right now, we need to find something about Ava, she doesn’t deserve to live without her parents.”
Elena said that even though is really hard for her.
“What if it turns out Ava’s parent is alive, what will I do,” Elena asked herself.
“And I have good news for you, you know Elena has also tested her blood right?” Doc Jayden asked.
“Yes, what happened?” Harrison asked.
“You will soon become a dad, Elena is 3 months pregnant.” The doctor announced.
“What, are you serious, I’m pregnant.”
Elena said excitedly.
“Yes you are, this is the result, at least if you are losing Ava, you will soon have your own child, congratulations Mr and Mrs MCCALLS,” Jayden said.
“Thanks a lot, this news is the best news Ava, I can’t believe Ava was right when she said she had a dream of having a baby sister,” Harrison said.
“I’m scared she won’t be her sister anymore, I just wish Ava’s real parents are late,” Elena said.
“Let’s not be selfish Elena, we can’t pray for Ava’s parents to be dead because we want to be her parents,” Harrison said.
“I’m sorry once again Mr and Mrs MCCALLS, I have an appointment with a patient, I will take my leave now.” Doc Jayden said.
“Thanks a lot, take care,” Harrison said and they shook hands, he left.
Harrison and Elena entered the car and drove to the orphanage.
ORPHANAGE HOME.
Elena and Harrison arrived and saw many lovely kids whose parents either died or they were thrown away.
They saw a woman and headed to her.
“Good day ma.” Elena greeted.
“Good day, who are you please?” She asked.
“I’m Elena, and he is my Husband, Harrison McCalls,” Elena replied.
“Wow, so you both are the McCalls family that have been trending everywhere, it’s so nice to see you, Elena, you are a strong and wonderful woman, you have earned my respect.”
The woman said.
“Thanks, ma.” Elena blushed.
“By the way, I’m Patrica, I work here as the one in charge of taking records of the kids in the orphanage.” Patricia Said.
“Oh nice, we really need your help, do you know a girl called Ava, actually the newfound daughter of mine that has been trending,” Harrison said.
“Ava, yes, I know her,” Patricia replied.
“Oh Thank goodness, can we have a word with you please, and I want it to be secret please.” Harrison pleaded.
“Of course, your secret is safe with me.”
Patricia replied.
“Thank you, so about Ava.” Harrison paused.
“Yes, what about her?” Patricia asked.
“We just find out she is not our biological daughter,” Harrison said
