Chapter 94 Escape
Chapter 94 Escape
"That's dangerous," Jameson retorted.
"Yeah... I heard Griffin was planning to force her to be his bride, so she had to..."
Jameson's fist hit the table at her words. All eyes turned towards him.
"Calm the fuck down, Jameson," Phoenix whispered, her eyes scanning the military personnel around. They now had their full attention on them.
One of them marched towards them with a frown.
"Is anything wrong, young man?" the man asked.
"Your food tastes bad," Jameson glared at him, walking closer. "Why are we eating crappy things here? Besides, who is this little son of a bitch here?" Jameson pointed his hand at Phoenix.
Phoenix tried to control her face from contorting into a confused one. What is Jameson doing?!
"Keep your cool and don't cause any trou—"
Jameson didn't let him finish as he smashed his food on the man's face. The prisoners around were shocked. He then took Einstein's food and poured it on Phoenix's head.
Phoenix saw Jameson wink at her, signaling to just follow his lead.
"Hey! Are you insane?!" Phoenix yelled, trying to keep her voice deep.
The man's angry gaze went to Jameson, and he roared, "You'll pay for this!"
A punch flew to the man's face. Jameson held his collar. "How dare you raise your voice at me!"
Other military personnel immediately interfered and began to chain Jameson down.

Jameson was locked up in a dark, strange room. He was sure Phoenix understood the signal he sent before he was taken away. This was not the first time they'd done something like this.
Jameson's lips moved, a pin in his mouth as he smirked.
The next day, during lunch, Phoenix dropped a letter on one of the prisoners' plates.
The prisoner frowned but decided to read the letter.
He is planning to kill you today. Kill him now. You have the chance.
The prisoner's eyes widened, and he slowly looked at a huge figure. He stood up immediately, grabbed a knife, and marched fast towards him. In the next moment, blood splashed all over as he stabbed him.
A commotion began as two groups started to fight, drawing the attention of the other military men. Aiden and Einstein secretly took one of the military cards and a key.
The trio sneaked their way out and locked the door. They froze upon seeing three military personnel standing before them with glares.
'C'mon Jameson,' Phoenix thought, and almost immediately, the alarm sounded. Worse, the lights dimmed.
The three immediately took action, bringing down the three military personnel. Soon, the three stepped out with military attire on.
Jameson kicked one of the military personnel, causing him to pass out. He dragged the body to a corner and came out after a while in their attire.
The alarm affected the building, causing a prison break. Prisoners' gates opened, and the military tried their best to fight them back.
The four got to the garage and hopped into one of the cars.
"Nice plan, Aiden. Your technique was easier than mine," Phoenix said.
"Not my first time," Aiden's face turned pale, knowing he shouldn't have said that. They all gave him a questioning look except Jameson.
"You've been in prison before?" Einstein asked.
"Three times. I broke out twice," Aiden swallowed.
"I love this guy," Phoenix stated.
"He's taken," Einstein interjected.
"Not anymore," Jameson said coldly, his eyes meeting Aiden's gaze through the rearview mirror. Phoenix blinked in confusion, wondering what happened between these two.
Jameson started the car and zoomed off.

In the cold, dark night, the rain poured down heavily in the city. Candy's eyes darted around, holding her hoodie tightly close to herself.
She halted at a certain bar and took a deep breath before walking in. Her eyes scanned the area, men and women drinking and smoking.
Some of them were indulging in sexual activities.
Candy had found information about a man who could illegally transport her to where she wanted to be. She didn't mind spending a fortune. Traveling openly would attract Griffin.
She wanted to do this alone. She knew Yazmine and Jackie would try to stop her.
She took out her phone and checked the man's picture. Scanning her eyes, she found the man seated in a corner with two women.
"Evening, can I speak with you?" she asked. Her voice was neither polite nor rude.
Candy watched lust flash in his gaze as it settled on her.
"You can join..."
"It's about business. I'll pay any amount," she stated, and the man let out a light chuckle.
"Alright, come with me." The man dismissed the women with him and headed towards a small hallway. Candy hesitated for a moment but had no choice but to follow.
"So, what do you want, princess?" he asked as they walked.
"I'm heading to Moscow, and I heard you can help," she stated, holding the knife in her pocket in case this man turned out to be one of Griffin's.
"Hmm, I sure can help. It will cost you a lot, little miss," he said.
"No problem," Candy said.
He stopped to open a room. "Come in."
As Candy walked in, the man immediately pinned her to the wall, drawing his disgusting face close.
"It's going to cost you sex too," he whispered, trying to touch her.
Candy grabbed his wrist and swiftly pinned him. Taking the bottle she spotted on the table, she smashed the man's head, making him pass out.
Candy sighed, running her fingers through her hair. Gosh, she was right about this pervert laying on the floor unconscious right now.
She knowingly stepped on his hand before walking out of the room. Covering her head with her hoodie, she got ready for her next destination.
Her shoulder bumped into someone, but she didn't look back.
"Candy?" a familiar voice sounded.
With a frown, Candy looked back and found Hannah staring at her in shock.
"It's really you..."
Candy brought out her knife, pinning Hannah against the wall. The knife was at her neck as she glared.
"Hey, hey, easy there. I'm not here to harm you. I only came here for a drink," Hannah quickly said.
"What? You should be in the damn hospital traumatized..."
"Yeah, I know... but I recovered a week ago after Diego's death news spread all over, though my husband currently has no idea I'm fine..."
"You must be happy," Candy scoffed, drawing the knife closer.
"Can you at least listen to me? You look like a wife who doesn't believe her husband's death."
Candy dragged her, holding a fistful of Hannah's hair.
"You know something. Don't try shit with me. I'm on my crazy side. Trust me, you don't want to activate it," Candy warned. Hearing footsteps approaching, her head snapped towards the door on her right.
She immediately dragged Hannah in. Luckily, it was empty.
"Start talking," Candy demanded, not taking the knife away from her neck.
"Can't we just sit?"
"So you can escape? Hell fucking no."
Hannah felt the blade slowly drawing blood from her neck. Candy was being serious.
"Fine, I heard something from my husband!" she exclaimed, and Candy loosened her grip a bit.
"And?"
Hannah whimpered at Candy's strong hold on her hair.
"I heard him crying beside me one night, thinking I was still in my trauma state... He was on lookout during the attack in Moscow..."
"So?" Candy asked, badly wishing she could hear something good.
Hannah sucked in her breath. She had no choice but to spill it out.
"The person who died wasn't Diego!... It was Romeo!"
Candy's face turned pale as she stuttered, "W-what?"
