CHAPTER FIFTY EIGHT

LIAM POV

She kissed me, strange of her, but then I slowly kissed her back, nothing more, we weren't home, I didn't want anyone walking in on a private moment.

Then she pulled away, her eyes filled with nothing but satisfaction as she stared past me. "Thank you," She mumbled with pride.

Now I don't understand why this had happened, I only asked her to use me based on something else but it turned into a kiss and then why was she staring at the door.

I looked to find no one there. "What are you looking at?" I asked. "You didn't see her," She questioned, shocked, then laughing when I shook my head, mumbling something to herself.

"A nosy nurse was at the door," She informed, brushing it away so quickly. I didn't dare to ask. ..

Standing up, she seems to head to the window when she pause. "So then, did you ask if I could use you?" She questioned.

"You know, don't tell me, I'm not interested," She snaps almost immediately, then head to the door.

"Where are you going?" I asked. "Food, I'm hungry and I haven't eaten anything," She replied.

Sighing, I stood up, taking out my clothes and changing to something fresh. "What are you doing?" She questioned as I smirked. "What, are you the only one who get to undress?" I asked back.

A smirk played on her face as she sat down, watching me. "And unlike you, I don't pretend to enjoy the show, I watch it straight ahead," She said with a bold face.

"Someone has summoned courage talking to me like that," I muttered. "Why wouldn't I, you claim to be mine, why can't I enjoy what is mine?" She questioned.

This courage of hers was sexy and appealing. "So tell me, do you like what you see?" I asked, teasing her but she wasn't affected by it.

"I have seen better," She plainly replied. "Now that's a lie," I argued. "You think or you don't want to accept the fact that I been around with me," She asked back..

"When?" I demanded. She stood up, walking close to me, her hands touching my bare chest and she lean to my ear.

"Just because you try to cover it, doesn't mean it didn't happen or I wasn't scared by it," She whispered.

"Have you forgotten when I was a plaything to your men and your guests?" She quietly asks, yet with a firm voice.

"Chelsea," I yelled. "But is that not the truth," She snapped. "You know, they were some with horrible scars, some with a good body built," She went, making my blood boil.

But then she laughs either way. "That look on your face is priceless," She whispered.

"What are you playing out Chelsea?" I questioned. "Earlier, you gave me a reason not to get angry at you and I was beginning to doubt my hatred for you, I just needed something to justify my next set of actions," She explained.

.

"But," I said. "I know, you have asked for my forgiveness and tried proving yourself and I forgive you, I give you chances don't I, just I can't forget,"

"You never made a request for me to forget, so I decided, anytime I remember, I will share it with you, how can I suffer alone," She explained.

"Button up, I'm hungry," She said, leaving me to shut the door while I was left speechless by her words, joining her only when I had recovered.

"You can go," I dismissed them as they left instantly. "We are going from here," I announced to her.

"You won't handle your discharge papers?" She questioned. "Why should I?" I asked. "It's their stress and not mine," I mumbled.

We walked into the nearest restaurant and as she ordered, I called for a car. "You have to go back to staying with Mr. Matthew," I announced as our food was placed on the table..

She pauses, smiling before going ahead to take a bite. "What?" I asked. "I'm just surprised you didn't say yours," she mumbled in between her food.

"I have somewhere to be, and I would be gone for some days" I explained as she nodded her head. "I should have known," She said.

"Look, Chelsea, you were," I wanted to say but she held her hand up, signifying I stopped.

"If it's what I said in the hospital then don't, I'm really hungry, I don't want to ruin my appetite," She cuts in.

"Chelsea, now you are being

…?" I grumble, unable to finish the word. "Fine, let me hear it," she groaned.

"I was sitting down, on my own and you decide to tease me by undressing and you went on teasing me not knowing I was in pain due to my head having different cruel images,"

"Why, because you are just about yourself and not others," she bursted out. "So please, what in the world was I acting like?" She demanded the pain in her eyes as she spoke.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have pushed it?" I apologize, only then was she calm. Standing up, she pulled her chair close to me, attracting everyone to her sit, yet she didn't give a damn.

And without saying a word, she swapped our meal. "You are now forgiving," She mumbled, eating my food.

"But you haven't forgotten," I reminded, which she agreed to, making me laugh. She ended ordering more food before stopping at her fifth plate.

"I'm not starving myself again," She mumbled, her hands patting her stomach. "Now I feel pregnant twice, one for food and the other for an actual baby," She joked.

As I stared at her stomach, wanting to touch it but not wanting to create another misunderstanding. As if reading my mind, she placed my hands on her stomach, letting me rub it.

"Slightly big," she mumbled. "I feel it's the right size for a three month old," I said as she frowned.

"Four months," She grumbled. "But, I thought," I paused, slowly calculating the days to see if she was correct.

"You are obsessed about this child but you can't guess the right month," She mumbled.

"That means, your next scan is around the corner," I mumbled, bringing out my phone to see the date.

"I would be around before then," I mumbled, feeling good about the news. She smirks, holding up the menu.

"What are you doing?" I asked. "Dessert, I'm craving something extra sweet," She mumbled, while scanning it.

"I thought you were filled," I recalled, watching her angrily slamming the menu. "Are you now calling me a glutton?" She questioned, folding her hand's.

"No, never," I answered immediately. "It's not like I want to have space for me, I'm really filled up but yet, I really want something sweet," She suddenly busted out, leaving me puzzled of how quickly her emotions changed.

It was then I realized that since she was awake, her mood swings was the one talking not her and she was only trying to calm herself.

"Fine, order something, not too sweet," I agreed, her eyes glaring at me. "Liam Manchester," She yelled, drawing the attention of everyone and some whispers.

"Did you hear me at all, I said I wanted something sweet, really sweet," She continued, before pausing to calm down.

"You know what, I'm done," She declared, standing up and taking her pause. All effort to call her back was useless and I ended up paying for our meal before joining her.

Surprisingly, she was seated at the back, meaning she was still willing to sit with me.

Her body is half titled, facing the window. The ride being quiet throughout, not until we got to Mr. Matthew building.

"Wait," She ordered the driver, who immediately stopped, shocking her but she quickly hid it.

She immediately looks at me, facing my direction. "Are you not going to try and make it up to me, you insulted me when it wasn't my fault," She says.

I wanted to explain the situation, explaining I never did but her mouth was slowly opening up, almost as if she was ready to attack my word.

"What do you have in mind?" I asked. As she smiles, a victory yet having a hint of cunniness.

"Well, since you asked," She mumbled. "I want to go back home," She requested. "But Chelsea, I already told you," I tried explaining.

"Don't cut me short, I'm not done with talking, I'm not stupid, I also know why I'm here, do you think I enjoyed it," She snaps, her attitude coming back.

"You just like making things hard don't you?" She questioned. Breathing in, I took one last look at her, watching her pout her lips and fold her hands, showing that she was angry.

"Alright, tell me, I won't argue, or fight you, I will just listen," I said, lighting her up a bit.

"I want to go home to take something really important," She revealed. "And what's that?" I inquired..
