"Why?"
"I have my period." Yang Shuting replied.
There was silence on the other end of the phone for a while
"I'll let you go this time, next time you'll pay me back double!"
"What?" roared Yang Shuting,
"What do you think I am? A whore?"
"You're already a prostitute, just a little more expensive than other women." Ling Weihao continued,
"Besides, you shouldn't lose your temper, it's bad for your body."
After saying that, he hung up, and a busy signal sounded. Yang Shuting clutched the phone and smashed it on the ground.
Yang Shuting felt hungry, so she went downstairs to the supermarket to buy some snacks, she turned on the TV and watched those Korean dramas with great interest. Feeling quite bored, she picked up the phone and called Huang Xin and chatted with her for a while before falling asleep.
The next day, when she went to the office, she met him in the parking lot where he was deliberately waiting.
Yang Shuting didn't want to see him and walked past him.
"So you rely on your connections to work alongside Mr. Ling, it seems like I really underestimated you."
Yang Shuting paused, turned her head, frowned slightly and asked in confusion, "What did you say?"
"Yang Shuting, you should stop pretending, that really makes people sick."
Hearing those words from Tang Bin, Yang Shuting felt a little shocked, but she really didn't know what he was trying to say, and frowned even harder.
"Tang Bin, I don't know what you're talking about, if you lose face because Huang Xin slapped Bai Wei yesterday, then I'm here to apologize to you! Please don't bother me in the future. Be your design director, I will be my secretary, ."
Yang Shuting stated indifferently, they had already parted and had nothing more to say .
He had Bai Wei now, and Bai Wei was pregnant with his child, he should mind his own business .
After saying that, she turned to the company building and left.
Tang Bin was unwilling to let her go, he chased after her, reaching out to stop her path, he frowned, he just wasn't convinced .
"Don't play dumb, your friend is the son of the director of Wen Group, future heir of Wen, but very rich!" Tang Bin said, the corners of his mouth lifted a self-deprecating smile, "What a bitch, having a rich boyfriend so early-"
Yang Shuting was very surprised, she never thought that the man who came to her rescue yesterday was the son of Wen Group's CEO, but how could he show up in Wansheng? She came back to her senses, glanced at Tang Bin, said nothing and went into the company.
"Did you sleep with him?" Tang Bin chased after her again, his voice so loud that she drew side glances from all sides.
Yang Shuting turned around without saying a word, slapped him hard, stared at him angrily, not expecting such words to come out of his mouth.
She had the urge to cry, she was deeply disappointed in him, he is no longer the Tang Bin she used to know.
Tang Bin was shocked, standing stunned, staring at her blankly, his face burning.
Back in the office, Yang Shuting sat on the chair angrily, leaning against the back of the chair.
Even though Tangbin was no longer her boyfriend, he still broke her heart.
She heard someone knocking on the door, it was Li saying that Mr. Ling had asked her to come to the office.
Yang Shuting sat up straight and frowned slightly, she had just arrived at the company and he was looking for her, she wondered why he wanted to see her? She supported her heavy head with her right hand, exhaled intermittently, stood up and walked into the office of Ling Weihao.
"Mr. Ling, what do you want to see me about?" Yang Shuting stood there respectfully. She raised her eyes and noticed Ling Weihao was looking at him, he took off his jacket .
"Why did you hang up on me last night?" Ling Weihao raised his head and stared at Yang Shuting directly, his face was expressionless, and his voice was also as cold as frost.
No one dared to hang up on him except her, Yang Shuting, a woman he didn't understand, a woman whose character was like the clouds in the sky, unpredictable. Last night he went to the "Night Rose" , besides it was the kindness invitation of his friend Wen Yuhang. There is another reason as well, to see if she was there. He called the "Night Rose" girl , but was told that she did not work there.
He frowned, how could that be?
"Then why did Mr. Ling call me?"
"Didn't we clarify last night that I was at the "Night Rose" and asked you to keep me company?" asked Ling Weihao.
"I also told you, Mr. Ling, that I was on my period and couldn't accompany you."
"You are fooling me, I remember that I was with you yesterday ..."
"Mr. Ling, don't you know that a woman's period is the greatest thing in the world? She wants to come when she wants, and she happened to come last night." Yang Shuting pursed her lips and smiled.
Ling Weihao leaned back on the back of his chair, looked at her leisurely, and said, "Are you free this afternoon, let's have dinner together!"
Yang Shuting was surprised by his sudden invitation, how could he be so kind as to invite her to dinner? This must be a scam.
Seeing that she was hesitant, Ling Weihao added, "It's just for dinner, not for you to go to a bar with me and have a drink.
Yang Shuting smiled and said, ''Mr. Ling, I'm sorry, it's been busy lately, so ... I can't accompany you to dinner, you should find someone else!"
Ling Weihao grinned.
Yang Shuting heaved a sigh of relief and turned to leave.
"Wait a moment!" Ling Weihao seemed to have thought of something and called her. Yang Shuting's heart contracted and she had no choice but to turn around and ask him what else was going on.
"What is your relationship with Director Tang?" He asked.
This question seemed very delicate, and put Yang Shuting stunned a little on the spot; she pulled herself together, and said with a smile, "No relation at all."
"I heard you used to be boyfriend and girlfriend, but now you've broken up." He said.
Yang Shuting thought about it and finally nodded her head. She just didn't know why Ling Weihao suddenly asked her such a question and was confused.
He didn't ask anything else and let her get to work.
In fact, Yang Shuting hadn't had the period, she was just making an excuse, and that excuse finally allowed her to have a few days of peace and rest.
Since that day, Ling Weihao no longer came to Wansheng, perhaps because he had other urgent matters to attend to.
Yang Shuting didn't feel anything wrong and felt that his absence was good, so she didn't have to worry about being hit on by him again and being eaten up by him in the office.
