Chapter 21

The man took Carlie away to his office, trying to calm her down as she went berserk, threatening to gouge out Jona's eyes with her heel if the ferret wasn't released. Even on the way, Carlie kept rebelling relentlessly. Finally, the man released his iron grip on her hand after leading Carlie into his office.

"Bastard! Release her, or i'll make my way out of here!"Carlie shouted, loudly and emotionally.

"Do you think you can?"

Carlie laughed,"who managed to escape from your pathetic bunker, do you think?"

"That's because of that damn woman's help. Now you have no friends, leaving here will never happen."

"Oh, really?"Carlie asked. "Are you trying to challenge me?"

Carlie always surprised the man. Every day and with each passing day, her surprises became more insane. So it was today.

The man took a step back, surprised, when he saw Carlie attempting to bite his penis. 'Did you read that correctly? Yes, you're not mistaken.' Carlie actually tried to bite the man's genitals from behind his pants. With her sharp fangs.

"Shit!"the man exclaimed in shock. He managed to move away just in time with staggering steps.

And seizing the opportunity, Carlie stole the man's phone from his pocket.

This never happened. Even the man's body was hardly touched by anyone he didn't want it to be. But this woman, only Carlie Eloise managed to steal his belongings from his pocket. The man cursed himself for being so weak when facing Carlie.

Carlie pressed the speed dial button and dialed a series of numbers there.

"Gerald Heston. This is my father's number,"Carlie said, showing her phone screen. "I'll call him, and if i scream 'help' just once, then your fate is sealed. My uncle is the best tracker in the world, my father one of the richest men in the world. You should have known from the start that I'm not someone you can play with."

The man looked at Carlie disdainfully. Full of resentment. This woman always made her family a threat. But it didn't seem strange. Indeed, her family had immense power.

"If your family comes here, heads will roll. Remember that,"the man threatened.

"Rich people are smart people. And i'm sure my father's intelligence is far beyond enough to disable a demon like you!"

The man wasn't sure if that was true. He was confident in his ability to wriggle out of trouble. But still, having trouble with the Heston family, after picking a fight with the Yones family, wasn't a good choice.

'That's why the man decided to step back.'

"Alright,"the raised both hands. "I'll let her go. As you wish, the woman is free."

Carlie blinked,"really?"

"Do i look like i'm joking?"

Carlie tried to read the man's eyes. The man hasn't had many expressions for a long time. So reading his gaze was almost impossible. But even so, Carlie was confident that she didn't see any falsehood in his eyes. So she hesitated.

And apparently, the man was such a good actor that he completely fooled Carlie.

The woman screamed, feeling her body crashing into the man's desk. Her phone, the man stepped on hard, flew into the air, and landed on the floor.

The man seized Carlie's hand, cornering her against his desk, while the woman was caught off guard for a moment.

"You're really stubborn,"the man said. "But damn it, i like that side of you."

Carlie growled,"let go, damn it!"

"Not until you comply, and stop showing your fangs to me continuously,"Carlie spat, narrowly missing Jona's face as he dodged in time. "That will never happen, even if you kill me,"she threatened. "Release the ferret. Now."

Jona chuckled dismissively. "Ferret? Is that your nickname for her?"he said. He paused for a moment, seeming to think. "Alright. This time i'll consider your request. I'll release the woman. For you, i'll let her go, after she betrayed me,"Carlie scoffed.

'Betraying your ass. You're the one who forced her to work for you.'

"But of course, there are conditions,"Jona continued. "If you comply, then i'll let her go."

"While i think your conditions are worth releasing the ferret, i'll listen,"Carlie snapped.

"Speak. What do you want?"

"Don't leave." l

"Huh?"

"Don't leave here. That's it. I still want you to be my favorite toy."

"And in return, i'll let your 'ferret' out. Isn't that an immeasurable gain for you?"

Carlie fell silent for a moment. "No. I disagree."

"What?"

"This condition heavily favors you,"Carlie said.

"Don't leave? Until when? Until i'm old, until i die, only by your rotten grandfather's corpse? I'd rather send the ferret to the afterlife. And even if i agree, do you think i'm so generous to trade the life of a woman who saved me for my eternal freedom?"Carlie spat again, this time hitting Jona's shirt. "Don't hope. I hate you. You made Tiffany win, robbed me of my dignity with cunning. Being with you is a disaster for me. That's a disgusting condition."

Jona growled in frustration,"alright, how about this. You stay with me until we manage to destroy Tiffany together."

This time it was Carlie who was stunned.

"You... are trying to destroy your friend?"

Jona sighed in annoyance. As if bringing up this issue was a great burden for him. "She's my fiancée. But it's an arranged marriage. Not by my choice. Just to forge a good alliance with her family, which owns the largest marijuana plantation in Mexico."

'Oh.. he's a demon too.'

"And now you're trying to destroy her?"Carlie asked. "What's your reason?"

"My father arranged our marriage. I hate my father,"Jona said, almost hoarsely. "The reason is a bit more complicated, i can explain it in more detail later. But the essence is that i intend to destroy Tiffany's family. Now i'm pampering her with happiness. So that when she falls, she'll hit the ground harder."

It sounded like a melody in Carlie's ears.

"And you're just caught up in my plans, Eloise. She wants victory, i grant it. But you're the one who's left out. There's no plan at all for me to disturb her,"Jona said. Carlie fell silent for a moment,"when exactly?"

Jonathan Austin clenched his jaw. "Fine, i promise it won't be long. It won't be more than a year."

"That's still long."

"When you want to speed it up, i can accelerate the planning according to what you want."

But apparently Madame Eloise's satisfaction has not been met,"what about my freedom?"

"Carlie spat, almost hitting Jona's face if he hadn't dodged in time. "That will never happen, not even if you kill me,"she threatened.

"Let the ferret out. Now."

Jona chuckled dismissively. "The ferret? Is that what you call her?"Jona said. He paused for a moment, appearing to think. "Alright. This time, i'll consider your request. I'll let her out. For you, I'll let her go, after she betrayed me,"Carlie scoffed. "Betrayed your ass. You're the one who forced her to work for you."

"But of course, on one condition,"Jona continued. "If you agree, then i'll let her out."

"While i consider your conditions fair in exchange for releasing the ferret, i'm willing to listen,"Carlie taunted.

"Say it. What do you want?"

"Don't leave,"Jona said. "Hah?"

"Don't leave here. That's all."

"I still want you to be my favorite toy."

"And in return, i'll restore your dignity. Bring down Tiffany. Serve you as a guest in my mansion,"Jona said. "How about it? Do we have a deal?"

Carlie glanced at Jona from the corner of her eye. "Bring down the ferret first."

Jona pulled out his phone. He called one of his bodyguards. "The woman hanging in the cell, bring her down. And treat her wounds."

The call turned into a video call, showing several men lowering the ferret. Then they brought a stretcher and took her away. A doctor in white followed behind. Apparently, the Austin family's personal doctor.

"Satisfied?"Jona asked.

Carlie remained expressionless. "Alright. I guess that's enough,"she said.

"Agreed."

Jona shook Carlie's outstretched hand,"agreed."

A sweet agreement was finally made. Just to keep Carlie from leaving him. Jona wasn't ready to let go of her yet, but restraining her would only bring disaster to his family. That's why working together was the best option.

'Yes, this is the best option.'

My desire to destroy Tiffany Emerald never existed from the beginning. It's my father and her father that i hate. They're the ones i want to crush. But if under this pretext, under Tiffany's name, Eloise can survive, that's not a bad thing.

'Silently,'Jona smirked.

'I will use this plan to restrain Carlie Eloise,' She will surely delay before seeking her revenge. Enough time for me to enjoy her company.

"You said i could accelerate your plan, right? Well, then i want to speed it up right now. This instant. Destroy Tiffany."

"You haven't even heard the plan yet!"

"You can tell me whenever you want. But the point is, do it now. I need my dignity back. I want her destroyed. I also don't like being with you. I'm smart enough to dump her now to quickly part ways with you, you jerk,"Carlie snapped, laughing mockingly. "Now, let's go. Let's trample on that disgusting woman's breasts."

Jona watched Carlie walk ahead of him, with an unreadable expression.

She wants to destroy Tiffany now? Then this agreement will end?
