Emma POV
Today is our visit with the crimson pack. I hope Neal is doing well. He was always good to me and always saw the best in Chase even when he was an a**hole to Neal. He was gentle and kind despite being a fierce warrior. I hope he finds his mate soon he deserves someone to rule by his side. Xander it's time to wake up. I hear him groan and he rolls on his back with his eyes still closed. It's been so crazy the last few days we haven't been able to be together but seeing him now lying next to me with no shirt on is doing all kinds of things to my core. I act like I am going to wrap my arm around him but instead I slide my hand in the band of his boxer briefs. His eyes pop open and I smile at him. I am still not awake totally when I feel Emma moving around next to me. She tries to wake me, but I really would like to sleep in. If we didn't have our trip with the Elders today, I would stay in bed with her all day. I roll onto my back groaning all the way. I keep my eyes closed hoping for a few more minutes before we get up. The wakeup call Emma gives me is amazing and when we finish, she lays next to me with her head on my chest. I am glad every day that I waited for her I would never want to share this with anyone else. After we lay there for a few more minutes we both get up and get dressed for the trip. We meet Xane and Sarah in the pack house living room. We are going to be meeting Elder Shane at the pack. Sarah reminds Xane that Cassandra will be tagging along to see her old pack. When we get outside Cassandra is standing by the truck that Xane and Sarah will be driving. We decided to drive today, and Emma will of course be in my car. I help her in, and we get on the road. When we arrive, I pull in first and Alpha Neal is standing on the steps of the pack house. "Hello Luna and Beta, it's good to see you both again." I like this guy already, but he doesn't have to be so formal with us, Emma starts to talk before I do.
Emma POV
When Neal calls me Luna I smile. Neal I am not a Luna, and you don't have to be formal with us you are an Alpha. "Sorry Emma its habit, how was your trip?" It was fine the others should be right behind us. Just then Xane's truck pulls up and they all get out. I hear a huge growl and it takes me off guard when I turn to Neal and see his eyes have turned black. I hear him say MATE and head in Cassandra direction. Holy shit Sarah's cousin is his mate that is awesome. He picks her up and places his head in the crook of her neck. I hear her repeat mate and we all laugh. "That was definitely unexpected" Sarah says. We both smile since we know Neal personally. After a few minutes he puts her down and turns back to us. "Thank you for bringing my mate I have been waiting for her." I see Cassandra blush and I love that they found each other. Elder Shane walks up and looks at the new couple. "I see congratulations are in order" to Neal and Cassandra. Elder Shane, I can show you around if Neal and Cassie want to go get to know each other before we sit down and have a meeting. "I think that would be just fine" Elder Shane says. We will meet you in your office to review your Alpha work in a few hours Neal. "Thank you, Emma," he takes my hand and Cassie gives a little growl. We all chuckle and they head toward the pack house.
Unknown POV
Isn't that interesting Neal found his mate. Chase will be intrigued and happy to hear anything we can use against these traitors. She will be leverage to use against Neal when we go to his mother's house during Neal's visit with her. I need to find out everything I can about Emma and her visitors. I am going to be Chase's Beta when he takes back over this pack. He promised me that he would reward me for spying and staying loyal to him. I will follow them around and I won't be out of place since I have been staying with the pack and reporting to Chase when I am on guard patrol. I will be glad to see Chase back in his rightful place as Alpha.
