The voice startled Angelina to her wits. She whirled her head back in the daze, sucking a raw breath as soon as she met those murderous eyes.

Hades… wasn't he supposed to be outside of the capital?

Edwina’s claws retreated as if she had found her saviour, eventually turning calm. Otherwise, she didn't know what would have happened if her wolf took control and came out to confront Angelina in front of a full market of people.

Hades took big strides towards Edwina, his blood boiling in rage. The excited crowd opened a path for him naturally, wondering why he became so mad. He stretched his big arms to hold Edwina up, asking through his gritted teeth, " What happened to you? Tell me, why are you here?"

Edwina parted her lips to speak but Angelina hauled up to them fast, bowing courteously, " Your Highness! Her pack is behind your last attack. I have officially appointed her as a slave. So, I brought her here to the market to show everyone how the offenders of yours get punished."

Hades's expression turned grim but it had nothing to do with Edwina. Gritting his teeth together, he asked Angelina again, " So, it gave you the right to turn my mistress into your slave, Angelina? Who do you think you are?"

Angelina's face went pale as people began to give her mocking glares. So far, everyone thought that she held the most favourite position in his heart. But Edwina’s words were shattering her reputation. Angelina's fury blinded her and she forgot who was standing right in front of her. She retorted, pointing at Edwina in anger, " Yes! She is a slave! She is held down captive here. She is technically a slave to our castle. You can't deny that, Your Highness!"

Hades's wolf raised his head, sniffing threats in the atmosphere. An Alpha king would never allow anyone to defy their action. Hades couldn't understand why he lost control of his wolf so easily. It felt like it came to the surface within a few seconds.

The air froze around them and the people from the market started shaking under his dominant waves. They were forced to go on their knees including Angelina who shook in fear. Hades's eyes were deadly brown, emitting a killing aura slowly. His voice sounded like an enraged animal, " Mistress! Edwina!! Come to me!!"

Edwina was startled and a bit scared. She never faced Hades's wolf this close and not to mention, the dominance waves were terrifying her. To her surprise, she could walk through the waves easily unlike others who were forced onto the ground.

She obliged without a word and came to him until his second command resonated in the air, " Kiss me! Show them who you are!"

Edwina's lips parted to let out a small gasp of surprise. She was failing to understand why his wolf was protecting her. It was known by everyone that a slave was never allowed to kiss her master nor do a mistress. The right only belonged to his mate or the woman that the king would love. If she kissed him in front of these people, wouldn't they think that she was his girlfriend? What if Ace hears about this kiss?

Guilt swam across her heart, letting her stay there in puzzlement until Hades's wolf pressed order with a roar, " COME HERE TO ME!!"

Edwina squirmed under his watchful eyes, her wolf submitting subconsciously. Leaving with no choice, she went up to him staggering. He dragged her closer before crashing his lips against her like a beast he was. The kiss was abrupt and unpredictable, leaving several marks as if he were claiming his woman.

There were gasps and whispers after he kissed her aggressively. Angelina stood there tongue-tied, tears of anger brimming in her eyes. When everyone was busy watching, no one noticed another pair of murderous eyes, shooting from the crowd.

#THE_MOON_EYED_PACK (Edwina’s Father Pack)

" Alpha! The girl with vision is here!", the temporarily elected beta, Edween from the Moon Eyed Pack voiced, drawing Alpha Artemis's attention from the papers.

Alpha Artemis got up hastily, his eyes turning hopeful. His pack had been searching for the girls with vision for the past few weeks to find the evidence behind the murder of the late Alpha Queen.

Among werewolves, there are only a few rare wolves who can see visions about past or future life. The numbers are very few and hard to find those who are called foresighters. In the history of Wolverton World, many foresighters preferred to be hidden to avoid any attacks or enmity because of their special gifts.

" Welcome, Lady Adah! I was looking for you everywhere.", Alpha Artemis greeted her politely, moving sideways to offer her a place.

Adah was a young gifted woman with visions. Her gifts were unlocked after a hundred years of living. For werewolves, a hundred years were nothing and considered to be still young and fresh. Her vision didn't start too long ago.

Adah seemed a little hesitant about everything. But Edween had requested for a long time and she finally considered. Adah spoke first in a hesitant voice, " I don't know if it will help or not. I am not skilled yet. I can only try to show you what happened that night. I am saying in advance that I can't hold on for a long time."

Alpha Artemis nodded with understanding. Even if he found a clue, it would be helpful for him to figure out who killed the queen on his territory. Adah sighed heavily then came forward in front of Alpha Artemis to place a hand on his forehead. She said in a slow, hypnotizing voice, " I will pass my visions inside you to watch again. It might not stay longer but try to look through the important events that occurred on that day."

Alpha Artemis followed her words, closed his eyes to see the visions of the past tragic event. The vision started on the day of their pack attack. A distant pack suddenly attacked their territory, causing disputes all over the place.

The cries of pups and wailings were echoing in the air. He could see himself in the vision as well, leading and instructing his pack members. Getting attacks was common in the packs and they took it first normally until it started getting severe.

The opponent pack members harmed a few of their important pack members, stirring fear among the members instantly. Alpha Artemis became tense and shouted his command in his Alpha tone, " EVERYONE!!!! USE YOUR ARROWS & KILL THEM ALL! NO MERCY!!!"

His words were the ultimate order of an Alpha which meant that the pack was under a death threat and would do anything to save their pack. On his command, the members of the Moon Eyed pack became violent, killing their enemies blindly.

Alpha Artemis with a roar held his sword up, going to the center to join the fight. Right at that moment, his sharp eyes caught a teen, chasing one of the women of his pack into the forest. The teen's intentions were ill and it was told from his eyes and aura. He was planning to rape the woman during the chaos.

Alpha Artemis left the enemies behind, followed them into the forest to rescue the running woman first. However, as soon as he went deep into the forest, he lost track of them. Strangely, he couldn't smell his pack member aka the woman who entered the forest anywhere around.

He clenched his teeth in anger and thought that the smell of the outsiders probably did it to his sharp sense. He bravely charged forward with his sword, trying to pay attention to every little noise. After going for a while, he heard a faint cry of a woman, coming from a far distance.

His wolf growled in rage, thinking about how an outsider was doing malicious things to his pack members. His hands shot up to get the arrow from his back, pulling it in front and shooting in the direction without thinking twice. He used the sense of voice to shoot his arrow straight in the direction.

A repeated sound soon came from that direction. But instead of a man's voice, he heard a woman's cry. Furrowing, Alpha Artemis ran into the wild to find them. As soon as he went to a certain part of the forest, his steps halted to find a dead werewolf on the ground. It was big dark brown, unusual in its average size, and was emitting a strong aura even though it was wounded deeply.

When he got closer, the werewolf shifted into a beautiful woman slowly and weakly. He was too stunned to say anything to see an unfamiliar face. Guilt gripped his heart tightly. It was tolerable for him until he saw the crown on the woman's head. She was crying and weeping bitterly, holding he
r stomach and telling something to her unborn child continuously…
