A date

A date
Morgan Daniels was in the room getting ready for her date whilst Eleanor and Lea were cuddling in the living room, watching Disney’s frozen for the nth time. Lea was obsessed with that movie and whenever Morgan asked her to pick out a movie for movie night, the first thing that leaves her mouth is “Frozen, mummy. Frozen”.

Telling her no wasn’t an option because she ended up blackmailing her mother with puppy eyes. Morgan Daniels could recite, word for word, every statement and phrase said in the movie.

Right now, she didn’t want to be in Eleanor’s shoes.

For her date with Maia, she wanted to dress femininely. Morgan Daniels wanted something next to her body that showed all her curves and just the right amount of cleavage to have the red-haired hooked as she was obsessed with boobs.

The older woman took in her reflection in the mirror, trailing her hands through the waistline of the dress. It was a dark blue body con dress that ended on her ankle, but had a slit on the left side, exposing her thigh.

Maka doesn’t appreciate heavy makeup, so the older Morgan Daniels applied a small amount of powder and lip gloss. Then she used her hand to ruffle her hair and let it fall to the right and Viola! she was ready to go.

She picked up her clutch containing her credit card, and her phone and walked out of the room. Eleanor and Lea were still cuddling on the couch with Eleanor browsing away on her phone. Morgan Daniels tapped lightly on her shoulder, letting her know that she was ready to go.

She gesticulated with her hands, letting Morgan understand that Lea was already asleep. She gently lifted Lea and got off the couch before carefully placing the seven-year-old on the couch, making sure her movements doesn’t wake her up.

“You look great” Eleanor whispered. “Nervous?” she asks, playing with the strand of Morgan's hair.

“No, not really”. And it was the truth. She wasn't nervous.

Maybe a little worried about the date, and how it will turn out. But she wouldn’t call that being nervous.

“Okay, I wish you good luck. Call me should you need anything” Eleanor says, taking her friend in a hug.

Morgan Daniels smiled at her, placed a kiss on Lea’s forehead and rushed out of the apartment.

The lobby of the hotel was quite populated. There was an event taking place tonight because the women looked sophisticatedly dressed, and the men were as well. Her suspicions were confirmed when she overheard the receptionist explaining to a man who stood before her about a certain seminar.

She walked out of the hotel and headed to the parking lot. She put her clutch on the passenger seat and put on her seat belt before driving off.

The car was parked outside of the apartment. Morgan Daniels was currently standing outside the car, waiting on Maia. If she wasn’t nervous back at the hotel, right now, she was. She has been standing out here for thirty minutes and she couldn’t help but think that maybe the red-haired wasn't ’t going to walk out of that building anytime soon.

After what felt like an eternity, Morgan spotted Maia gracefully walking down the stairs and making her way toward the car.

Everything around Morgan seem to fade as her gaze focused on Maia.

Time stood still. This moment felt like one of the many cliché instances in movies where everything happened in slow motion. Morgan's surroundings slowly start to fade away as her attention was wholly focused on her. She watched Maia's hips sway from side to side, the wind caressing her straight hair. Her beauty was simply mesmerizing.

It felt like both girls were taking a trip down memory lane because each one of them did things that they knew will affect the other person.

Morgan knew Maia liked it when she dressed masculinely, so for the past few days, that’s what she's been doing. Morgan knew Maia liked her boobs, the reason why today, she wore a body con dress that show her cleavage and thighs to have her mesmerized.

Maia was wearing a red dress that went right above her knees, showing off her toned legs attached to a pair of black pumps. Her hair was let down, allowing Morgan's eyes to travel down to her v-neckline which showed a lot of cleavages, causing her to suddenly need a bucket of cold water thrown over her.

'Fuck me' Morgan thought to herself. Like, literally.

"Are you trying to kill me,” Morgan Daniels spoke with a smirk, memorizing and savouring every inch of Maia's skin. She was taken aback when the red-haired leaned in and placed a quick kiss on her lips.

“Hey,” Maia whispered, her lips barely inches away from Morgan's. Morgan suddenly got a whiff of a very familiar fragrance. A fragrance which once upon a time brought her comfort. A fragrance she was and still, is obsessed with.

“You smell great,”

Maia smelled like a mix of sandalwood, citrus and leather. With sandalwood probably being the top note, citrus the heart note and leather being the base note, each one of these layers of scent worked beautifully together to create the perfect fragrance. Morgan never could figure out it if was the fragrance of her cologne or her body wash that brought up this perfect mixture, but she was certain after all these years, the fragrance was still the same.

Zesty, rich, earthy, exotic, slightly musky and slightly sweet, and still brought her comfort.

“Shall we?” Morgan inquired, painfully letting Maia go of her embrace and opening the car door for her.

“Where are we going?” Maia Shelton questioned once they were seated in the car and Morgan had her seatbelt on.

“I thought we could have dinner at ‘one roof top’ Maia Shelton added.

Morgan Daniels suddenly felt a warm and tingly sensation in her stomach. Her face became flushed as her cheeks turn a crimson shade of pink.

“Okay”

This place was the same. Nothing had changed over the years. Well, except for the flower pots that were scattered along the walkway into the restaurant. Maia and Morgan stood put for a while, taking the view of the entire city.

The restaurant was situated on the outskirts of Middenhall. It was isolated and quiet, but despite it being located out of town, it still managed to stay in business all these years as people didn’t mind driving this distance. Both girls were no different from other clients as they managed to drive hours just to come here. They had the best stir-fried pork.

“This place hasn’t changed” Morgan whispered in Maia's ear, causing her to clear her throat in an attempt to sniffle a moan. Morgan smirked.

“Hi, a table for two” she announced to the man who stood behind the desk upfront.

“Hi, would you like a table down here or on the rooftop?” he asks. Morgan turned to Maia, asking what she wanted.

“Uh, rooftop please” she replies and he nods.

“One minute please, someone will be with you shortly” he replies and types away on his computer.

As he had said, someone came and directed the ladies to the rooftop. On their way upstairs, Maia laced her hand with Morgan's causing a tingly sensation to blossom for the fourth time this evening.

Once they got to the rooftop, a beautiful auburn woman welcomed them and led them to their table that was situated in the back.

“This is lovely” Maia Shelton commented as Morgan pulled out the chair for her to sit.

“Yeah, it is” she replied taking a seat, suddenly regretting having worn this dress. Sure, she got what she wanted. She caught Maia’s gaze shifting to her boobs several times.

And while that was flattering and all, she was starting to regret that decision. Their knees were touching under the table. The table wasn’t small, no. But, Maia was doing things on purpose.

And despite it being pure torture, Morgan wouldn’t want it any other way.

This is the most she has come close to touching her bare skin in seven years.

“Hi, good evening, I’m Romaine. I’ll be your waitress for the evening. Here’s the menu. You can go through it and I’ll be with you shortly” Romaine says with a big smile on her face as she placed the menu on the table and walked away.

“She’s lovely” Maia immediately commented.

“This is amazing” Morgan retorted, having a last glance at the view before inspecting the menu.

This was all just a formality because Morgan Daniels already knew what she wanted and she was sitting opposite her.

“What are you getting?” Maia questioned, looking up at Morgan with a smile on her face.

“Uh, I’ll get their speciality. How about you?” she closed the menu.

“Uh, I’ll get the beefsteak” Maia answered and closed the menu and offered the older woman a smile.

Silence filled the air. The cold breeze caressed Maia’s cheeks and played with her hair as she shift her attention to the beautiful overview.

“This view is everything. Beautiful” she adds dreamingly, making Morga smile. The view before her with indeed everything.

“Very beautiful,” she agreed. Maia’s head shoot in her direction, a blush creeping to her cheeks once she noticed Morgan's gaze was already on her.

“Hi, have you decided?” Romaine returns, holding a small notebook in hand.

“Uh, I’ll have the special,” Morgan stated and turned to Maia.

“Beefsteak, please,”

“Got it. And to drink?” Romaine inquires.

“A bottle of your finest wine” Morgan replied with a polite smile, placing her arms on the table.

While they waited for their food, Morgan decided to engage in a conversation with Maia. For this dinner, she planned to Starr afresh with Maia. As in, way back to the talking stage because that was something she never experienced with the red-haired. The little giggles whilst replying to her messages, staying late nights talking about everything and nothing. They never got to make it official. And that’s what she wanted.

“So, I want to get to know,” Morgan broke the silence, stretching out her hand over the table and lacing it with hers.

“What do you mean Morgan? You know me” she questions with amusement in her voice.

“I meant what I said I’d like to start afresh. I want to get to know you all over” Morgan Daniels caressed the back of her hand, making her cheeks flush.

“Oh,” she replies plainly.

“Yes. So, I’ll start”

“My name is Morgan Daniels, I am a club owner and I have an eight-year-old daughter called Lea Righetti,” Maia smiled at Morgan's introduction.

“That’s lovely. My name is Maia Shelton, owner of Shelton Group of Company” she says.

Their small talk was interrupted as Romaine came in with a bottle of wine in hand. Morgan watched patiently as she unscrewed the bottle and poured the red liquid into Maia’s glass before doing the same with Morgan's. They were able to return to their conversation once Romaine excused herself.

“So, how does it feel being a successful woman in a field so male domineering,” Morgan brought the glass of wine to her lips.

“Mmmm” Maia moaned, gulping her drink before speaking up.

“It’s tough. You know there’s a lot of stigmatization in the field of Customs, and as shameful as it is, I face that from the women. Like, aren’t women supposed to stick by each other?” Maia questions rhetorically, and all Morgan could do was hum. She understood this was something that bothered the red-haired, so she sat quiet and allowed her to free her mind.

“It’s shameful. It is one thing to hear such stereotypical and biased statements from men because you know there’s just scared, and an entirely different thing to hear from a woman, especially from their wives. I mean, excused me if I refuse to be a trophy wife”

“It seems like this bothers you a lot” Morgan finally commented.

“Of course it does. Not the remarks from men, but women” she grumbles.

“Well, it shouldn’t. Most of them are just scared of you, and some want to be like you. I mean, your firm is one of the most domineering firms here. That means a lot. You did what they could never do. You made a name for yourself. Morgan encouraged.

Maia pondered the older woman's response for a while. “You have a point,” she says.

The waitress returns with their meals. She graciously placed a beefsteak in front of Maia and stir-fried pork before Morgan. After expressing their gratitude, they immediately dug in, occasionally engaging in conversations.

“I’ve missed you, Morgan,” the red-haired spoke out of the blue.

Morgan Daniels has longed to hear those words leave her lips. And now that she did, it was hard not to fall in love with her all over again.

Especially with the red-haired looking at her as she did in the past - like she was the only thing worth her attention

“I’ve missed you too Maia” Morgan replied.

This was hands down, one of the best nights of her life.
