Chapter 109 Benefits Should Not Be Given to Outsiders

"Can't you cause trouble outside? Why do you specifically target my students?"

"That's because you have more resources around you. I can't let the benefits go to outsiders," Alison laughed.

Listening to Alison, Catherine wished she could reach through the phone line and pinch her face, asking her what she was thinking.

"I can't help it. I'm not really bad, I just want to give all the men in the world a home," Alison chuckled.

"Don't take it too seriously. After all, those people are just boys. No matter how hurt they are, they won't suffer much."

"Besides, having had short but sweet memories with me, their standards for future girlfriends will be much clearer."

"Yeah, at least they won't look for someone as trashy as you," Catherine retorted coldly.

Alison smiled awkwardly.

After hitting on several of Catherine's students and adding their contact information, Alison was feeling a bit guilty.

Quickly, she changed the subject. "Your circle is pretty clean, and they're not aggressive, unlike those in my circle."

"If I mess with someone in my circle, I guarantee I'll be blocked in an alley and beaten up the next day. Teasing men in your circle at least has no such worries."

"You..."

Catherine sighed helplessly, "You should restrain yourself a bit. Another student called me last night, crying about how you broke his heart and asking for your contact information."

"And you even blocked him? Now that poor boy is still crying."

"Is he crying? That should be interesting. Then I'll add him back and see him cry," Alison's tone showed no sign of remorse.

Catherine covered her face, wondering how her usually uneventful social circle produced such a weirdo like Alison.

Alison usually didn't care about relationships. Her attitude towards men was even more irresponsible than Manuel's—just playing around without any real feelings, a true example of loving one after another.

And she was very confident.

Girls had the upper hand in relationships, and many would come back, begging her to reconcile.

But few could make Alison want to turn back.

As they chatted, the topic shifted to Manuel.

"Actually, I was thinking, if one day you learn from me and dump Manuel hard, wouldn't that be great?"

"He treated you so poorly before, always at his beck and call."

"I've been annoyed for a long time! If it weren't for the family business needing the Green family's support, I'd be the first to help you beat him up!"

Catherine shrugged, "Forget it."

"According to Manuel's temper, if he knew I cheated on him, he'd probably kill me."

"It doesn't have to be cheating," Alison suggested eagerly. "For example, you could first show him deep affection, making him unable to leave you. Then, when you're in the heat of the relationship and Manuel is completely devoted to you, you could break up with him, causing him a devastating blow! Doesn't that sound great?"

"Yes, it sounds great, but the consequences would be terrible," Catherine refused mercilessly. "Forget it. Manuel wouldn't let me off easily, and I'm not like you, able to play this game so well."

"Alright, alright, if you don't accept the suggestion, fine," Alison shrugged.

"But how long are you going to stay in this relationship? I feel like neither of you really wants to be with each other, but you're together for various reasons. Manuel is only with you to appease his mom. If you don't get married in the future, you'll break up eventually. How long will it be?"

Catherine thought for a moment and shook her head, "I don't know. I'm just waiting. But I think it won't be long."

She remembered Isabella calling him that day, and Manuel seemed interested in her. Maybe they'd get back together in a few days, and she could be free from this relationship.

"Really?" Alison was excited, "To celebrate your upcoming breakup, how about a bar party tonight?"

Catherine sighed, "Bar again? You go to the bar at least three or four nights a week. One day you'll drink yourself to death."

"Because there are many handsome guys at the bar. With the lighting and the atmosphere, things easily fall into place."

As Alison spoke, she suddenly said, "If you're not interested, how about I invite Nicholas?"

"Nicholas? Why would you invite him?" Catherine quickly waved her hand, "No, no, no. Don't invite him. If you do, I won't go."

"Why?" Alison was puzzled, "Weren't you quite fond of him before?"

"Did you forget who my boyfriend is now?" Catherine sighed, "With his jealousy, if he knew I was in contact with Nicholas, especially meeting at a bar, who knows what he'd do to me."

"Manuel is that strict with you?"

"Yes." Catherine remembered how sore she was for a whole day after coming back from Alison's place.

"At least until we break up, I should behave," Catherine said.

"That's a pity." Alison touched her chin, "Nicholas always brings a lot of handsome guys. If you don't come, I'll enjoy it alone, which feels a bit unfair to you."

Catherine waved her hand, "Thanks, I don't want fair."

Alison sighed, "It's all because your guy is too strict. I wonder if he really likes you or if it's just possessiveness."

Catherine was clear about this. She knew herself well.

Catherine believed Manuel had no feelings for her, "It's definitely just possessiveness. Don't overthink it."

"How about we test it?" Alison grinned, "What if he's only jealous of Nicholas and not others? How about tonight I don't invite Nicholas, but a few handsome guys, and see if Manuel gets jealous?"
