Chapter 11: Louis Vincent

Alex drove away from the dump. Uri thought Alex would go back to the police station but he quickly realized that this was not the way back to the inner city.

"We don't go back to the city?" It seemed that finding Neil's necklace made Uri feel much better, so he had more courage to ask Alex, but Alex was not interested in answering him.

Uri: "...."

Okay, if he did not want to answer, he wouldn't ask anymore!

Uri lowered his head, clutching the necklace in his hand. He closed his eyes and prayed in his heart.

Neil, don't happen anything!

Nearly 20 minutes later, the car stopped in front of a building that looked quite ancient. No, it would be more correct to call it a castle. Because it is somewhat similar to the castle that appears in fairy tales. There weren't any other houses around, just empty fields and overgrown weeds. The scene has some parts of wilderness and gloom.

Uri was a little surprised, not thinking that Los Angeles would have such a place. He intended to open the car door, but Alex said: "You're at here wait for me!"

"Huh? Ah, okay..." Although Uri was curious to know what was in the building, he could only sit back in a chair.

"Give me your friend's necklace."

Uri looked at him in surprise.

"Give me!" Alex impatiently repeated.

"But..." Uri hesitated a little, then touched the ex's dark blue pupil, feeling his back was cold, as the devil made him bring out the necklace: "Here's yours..."

Alex took the necklace, glanced at Uri coldly, then opened the door to get out of the car.

Uri followed his back, gulping. After interacting with Alex for a while, Uri silently learned two things: One is not to chat with him, and two is not to contradict him.

Despite thinking that, Uri feels that he is still a good person!

Alex walked to the front of the large gate, the system automatically recognized the face, and seconds later, the gate slowly opened. He's familiar with coming in.

Passing through a large campus to the main door, Alex directly pushed the door and entered. Inside the spacious living room, everything is arranged in an old-European style.

The walls are painted white. In the room, there is only one arched window, but it is covered by a red velvet curtain. On the walls are paintings of the kings of the Napoleonic era. The floor is covered with a dark velvet rug with antique patterns. In the center of the room was a black sofa, which seemed to be the only thing that makes one feel like it belongs to the modern world. In the room there was no TV, only large wooden cabinets of all kinds placed side by side. There were all kinds of wine on it, along with a few white ones containing colorful liquids. The ceiling is hung with a large chandelier. In the corner of the room was a large fish tank. Inside were not fishes that people usually see but strange fish with red and blue things mixed in.

The room did not turn on the light, only the candlelight was lit, making the light in the room become dim.

In the middle of the large sofa, a man was sitting, and on his lap was a laptop. He has red hair, from Alex's view he only sees white frames of glass placed on the bridge of his high straight nose.

It was Louis Vincent, Alex's best friend, who was a doctor.

Louis Vincent raised his head, his entire face now visible in the dim light. Even though he wears glasses, can still see the fine senses of this man. Curly red-brown hair is not too dazzling, vaguely hiding a high and wide forehead. Sword-shaped eyebrows, a straight high nose bridge, thin lips, smooth skin. On the perfect face stood out the opaque purple eyes that made his handsome face glimmer with a few cold rays.

Louis pushed the frame of his glasses slightly, for Alex's appearance at his house did not show any surprise, only asked: "Why are you here?"

"I have a favor to ask of you."

Alex replied, walked over to the sofa and sat down across from Louis, then pulled out a red pen and necklace from his pocket.

"Look what happened to the owners of these two things."

Louis raised his eyebrows, through the thin glass looked at the two objects on the table, then looked at Alex again, smiling slightly: "Does the FBI captain need help too?"

"Don't talk nonsense, he might have been captured by the Red Tribe."

Louis froze slightly, then coldly replied, "Isn't that dead?"

"I have a feeling he's not dead, you see a little bit!"

Louis now set his laptop aside, then crossed his arms, and said in a faltering tone: "Sir Alex, how are you going to repay me?"

Alex looked at him, his hand slightly clenched, a stream of white light slowly appearing.

"All right, all right, don't make a move! This building can't stand your power." Louis waved his hand, his purple eyes flickering slightly.

Alex relaxed his fist, and the light immediately disappeared.

Louis shrugged, stooped to pick up the red pen and necklace, then slowly closed his eyes.

Alex was silent, he knew Louis was "working."

About two minutes later, Louis opened his eyes. Alex slowly asked, "What happened to him?"

"About this pen..." Louis knocked the pen on the table and said: "It just accidentally fell. I saw the owner of the pen in a dark room. On the ground there was a human figure painted with white paint, like a crime scene... The pen fell off because he tripped."

Alex nodded, similar to his guess. This pen has no valuable information.

"About this necklace..." Louis fiddled with the necklace, and said quietly: "He was indeed captured by the Red Tribe, it fell off when he struggled with one of the people of the Red Tribe."

With just one sentence from him, Alex immediately understood the situation.

"See who it is?"

"I don't know, the person was wearing a mask, but I saw a black cat on his shoulder."

"Black cat?" Alex frowned.

Louis nodded.

"Where is he?"

Louis laughed: "Alex, I only saw what happened to its owner while it was still with the owner."

"Is he dead yet?"

Louis closed his eyes, took a deep breath: "Maybe not, I still sniff the smell of him."

"How's the situation?"

Louis shook his head slightly: "Not very good, the scent is very weak. Probably won't last more than two days..." Louis was talking suddenly frowning: "Wait, it looks like he is locked up somewhere... I smell damp and blood... There's more... very dark..."

Alex was silent for a moment, then asked, "Is there anything else?"

"It's over." Louis put the necklace on the table again, shaking his head.

Alex then does not talk. He maintained a silent state of staring at the necklace for a long time. A moment later, he stood up, put the pen and necklace in his pocket, faintly said: "Thanks!"

"You didn't come here alone?" Louis looked up at him and asked.

Alex also looked back at him silently, not intending to answer.

Louis raised his eyebrows, his expression of interest, "I haven't seen you come here with anyone."

"He's a friend of this person."

"Human?"

Alex nodded, said "I gotta go" and then turned around and walked away.

Louis looked at the shadow of his back and said, "Don't be too close to humans!"

Alex did not answer, his elongated legs constantly striding forward.

Louis saw the large door automatically close, the bottom of his eyes slightly flashing up the complex glint.
