Alessia's Appearance at the Palace

Alessia's Appearance at the Palace
"I didn't mean it. Forgive me, King." Alessia lowered her face again. Yes. The woman who was currently in the king's room was Alessia, not Alexandra. She bit her lower lip to relieve her nervousness. Her gaze could see the king's feet getting closer and closer to her.

When he was close enough to her, Stevan began to realize that Alexandra, who was now standing right in front of him, was very different from the Alexandra he had known for years. However, he immediately threw away that baseless thought. "Is there something you want to tell me?" Stevan guessed, as if he knew what was on her mind.

Alessia suddenly sat down on the floor, making the king quite surprised by her attitude. "Please help me, King. Only you can save my life," Alessia said earnestly.

"What happened to you?" Stevan looked panicked.

He approached and held both of her shoulders. "Stand up! Don't act like that. You're worrying me." He helped her back up. However, he suddenly realized that her body odor was very different.

Alessia was quite touched by the king's attention that felt so sincere. After she managed to stand up, she dared to look at the king's face again. "I want the king to help me free myself from the curse of the masked lycan," she said, then opened her collar and showed the black muscles that had spread across her neck.

"What's wrong?" Stevan was quite surprised to see the wound on her neck that looked very strange.

"I was cursed by a group of masked lycans," said Alessia, then told the king in detail.

Stevan frowned when he heard the story that made him quite curious. He had just found out that there was a group of mysterious masked lycans out there. He continued to pay attention to the woman's face in front of him while examining the information obtained from her story. "Who are you? Because that night Alexandra was with me," he asked firmly.

Alessia immediately prostrated herself at Stevan's feet. "I'm sorry, King. I didn't mean to lie to you. I also didn't expect my face to be so similar to Alexandra's," she said with fear.

"Is it possible that you are Alessia?" Stevan guessed, which was answered by Alessia nodding her head. "Oh, very nice. Finally, I will meet you. How did you get here? And where have you been living all this time?" Stevan's face looked so relieved to see Alexandra's twin that he had been looking for.

"Of course, I used Alexandra's identity to enter this palace. And I've been living in the human world all this time," Alessia answered honestly.

"No wonder I couldn't find you. Do you know the door that connects the two dimensions between the lycan world and the human world?" Stevan was very curious about this.

Alessia immediately answered with a nod. "I know."

Stevan smiled in relief hearing that. "So, what can I do to help you?" Stevan stared closely at Alessia's face.

"Please help me escape from the cursed spell of the masked lycan gang," Alessia said hopefully.

"Okay. I will grant your request as long as from now on you obey and submit to me," Stevan answered firmly, which was immediately agreed to by Alessia. "Good. You may not return to the human world and must stay in this palace and may not leave your room before I order you to. Are you able to do it?"

"Yes. I can, King," Alessia answered firmly.

In a bedroom, Alexandra was lying on her bed. She was still too lazy to move. Her body felt so tired. "I wish I could laze around in my room all day without having to work. If only there were shows like dramas or movies in this world, it would be more fun. I really don't feel like working today," she said in a hoarse voice while her eyes were still closed.

Suddenly, the door to her bedroom opened, making Alexandra spontaneously open her eyes. "Okay. I grant your request," said Stevan, who was now walking in, approaching the bed.

"What is the king doing in my bedroom?" Alexandra immediately got up.

"Of course, visiting you," answered Stevan with a soft smile.

Alexandra was unconsciously fascinated by the king's handsomeness this morning. A fresh-looking face and a charming smile made his handsomeness increase many times over. "Is it true that I'm starting to fall in love with him?" she thought.

"Go back to sleep. You don't need to work today. Or maybe you don't need to work forever," said Stevan, who was now standing beside Alexandra's bed.

"Is the king serious? But what about the king? Who will take care of you if I take a break?" Alexandra asked.

"I have prepared your replacement. Your stomach is starting to look big. It would be better if you focused on your pregnancy." Stevan then sat on the bed, and his hands touched Alexandra's shoulders. "I've found Alessia," he whispered.

"What?" Alexandra widened her eyes. "How did you find her? Where is she now?"

"Calm yourself. No one knows about this. Only you and I know. Right now, she is in this palace. I have hidden her in a safe place." He started to touch Alexandra's face. "Your faces are really very similar. I even have trouble telling them apart. If only I didn't know your scent, maybe I would still believe that she was you."

Alexandra touched Stevan's hand that was still on her face. "What if I return to the human world?"

"What? Are you crazy?" Stevan was shocked by Alexandra's words. His eyes shot a sharp gaze that seemed to be in strong opposition.

"Why? Didn't you promise me that you would take me back to my world?" asked Alexandra, who felt strange about the king's attitude.

Stevan immediately turned his face to the side. "No! I refuse. Before you officially become my wife, I will not let you leave this palace," he said firmly. However, he did not dare to look Alexandra in the eye.

"What the hell?!" Now it was Alexandra's turn to be shocked to hear the king's words.
