Chapter 151:Court Room
Lucas got Sarah arrested for multiple murder attempts. Grace, although having a tough time getting her out of her mind, needed to stay focused.
“We have something against Mrs Silver, through the help of Sarah's hidden cameras, that's enough to end her career, but we are not going to bring it up in the court tomorrow; we will focus on defending Lucas unless they try something stupid”, Kelsey explained.
“So did you get a good witness for the four club issue?”She asked and Lucas nodded.
“Charleston Charles, yes”, He uttered; Kelsey and Grace exchanged glances and chuckled.
“Alright I think we are ready for tomorrow”

Mr. Victor returned from the hospital later in the evening and Micheal informed him that the case was taking place tomorrow
“Well, I hope it goes well; if we get this company, we will be able to have Lucas under our control; he cherishes that company more than anything”, Mr. Victor stated.
“And I will know that I have succeeded in bringing him down,” Micheal added.

By 10:00 the next morning, everybody was already seated in the courtroom waiting for the arrival of the judge. Kelsey just drank the third bottle of water and adjusted her tie
“She's nervous, Lucas,” Grace uttered.
“Who wouldn't be? Her opponent is not easy, too,” Lucas told Grace. Soon, the judge arrived, and everyone stood up and waited for him to sit.
Judge Winston was known as a very disciplined judge who never accepted bribes. And although he was a good friend of Lucas, he pleaded with him to find a good lawyer.
He sat down and banged the gavel to signal the beginning of the case, he adjusted his glasses and the microphone
“Case number 056, family versus Lucas Hudson, charged for-, hmm a lot, the defendant stands accused of improperly taking over the family business and firm, he stands accused of sexual harassment, denial of child support, murder of Late Ashley Cole, he stands accused of domestic violence, illegal businesses with known and wanted criminals-
Judge Winston paused and chuckled; he shook his head, and the courtroom was filled with chuckles and murmurs, and Judge Winston banged his gavel once again.
“Order in the court, please”, He snapped, glaring at everybody.
“How does the defendant plead?”He looked up at Kelsey.
“Not guilty,” Lucas replied.
“The plaintiff may now proceed with their case”, He uttered, and Mrs. Silver stood up smiling as she stepped out.
“The family will prove that the family business and firm initially belonged to them and also prove that other charges are true; we have proof and witnesses” " she stated, and the judge urged her to go on.
“Thank you, your honour, starting from the denial of Child support, Mr Lucas's refusal to oblige to the agreement of child support with a certain Miss Lexi was reported to the police a month ago-
“Objection your honor” Kelsey stood out
“Yes, Miss Kelsey?-
“The child in question does not belong to Mr. Lucas Hudson” She stated.
“And how can you prove that?, why don't you allow the defendant to answer these questions I have for him regarding his relationship with Miss Lexi-
“Objection-
“Overruled Miss Kelsey, you may proceed with the questions Mrs Silver,” Judge Winston told her, Kelsey adjusted her tie again, and Lucas stepped into the dock
“You met Miss Lexi at a club, am I right?”
Mrs. Silver asked and Lucas nodded.
“yes-
“You took her home that night, do you remember that part?-
“yes-
“Slept with her?-
“No -
Mrs. Silver smiled
“Did you know that she had a son for you?-
“I didn't get intimate with her so how is she supposed to be pregnant for me?”Lucas snapped, and Mrs. Silver nodded.
“Your honour, the lady in question was pretty sure that Mr Lucas is the father of her child but on approaching him for child support he refused-
“Objection, my lord”, Kelsey intervened.
“Yes, Miss Kelsey.”He stared at her.
“I have a witness to prove that my client is not guilty of this charge, may I invite the witness?”
She asked, and Judge Winston smiled again.
“Yes, you may; I love witnesses” " he uttered. Kelsey smiled and called in her witness; everyone's attention turned to the door as it opened, and Lexi stepped in. Lucas smirked and winked at Micheal.
“Miss Lexi please come to the witness dock”
Kelsey told her. Grace could not stop smiling, everything was going so well. Lexi stepped into the witness dock to testify.
“The boy-, my son-, does not belong to Mr Lucas Hudson, he belongs to Mr Micheal Hudson your honour-
“And how do you prove that, lady?”Mrs Silver asked, and Lexi opened her bag and brought out a couple of papers
“These are DNA tests from different doctors showing that Lucas is not the father, but right here is the only test that I did with Micheal that proves that Micheal is the father of my son and if he denies it, I have Doctor Richardson to prove I'm right” Lexi stated, and Judge Winston banged his gavel.
“Mr Lucas Hudson is hereby free from the charge of denial of child support”, Judge Winston stated, and Grace smiled.
Lucas had his men escort Lexi to the airport while the case continued.
After a little break, everybody came back for the completion of the case; Mrs. Silver was on the edge of losing it; she had never lost a case, and this one seemed to be slipping from her hand.
The judge entered and they proceeded with the case
“Defendant, how do you plead your case on the charge of improperly improperly taking over the family business and firm?”
He asked and Lucas stood out once more
“Not guilty, your honour”, he replied, feeling confident in himself.
“The plaintiff may now proceed”
He uttered, Mrs. Silver took a deep breath and stepped forward-
