Chapter 150: Broken Heart
The first day of the case was soon around the corner, and each person was getting ready; Kelsey suddenly started feeling like she couldn't get the job done. She felt like Mrs. Silver could not stand losing so she would do everything in her power to win.
Lucas and Grace made sure Kelsey did not step out unguarded; they hired heavy bodyguards who followed her around. But Kelsey, feeling insecure about the upcoming case, wanted to find out Mrs. Silver's weak point, so she proceeded to meet with retired attorneys who had won a case against Mrs. Silver.
Grace came up with a nice plan alongside Lucas to catch the unidentified assassin while Jason, Emily and Sarah resumed work at the Rosé's.

Gabriel sat down in the waiting room in Lucas's mansion, soon, Grace came out and invited him in
“Mr. Ethan said you wanted to see me, but due to security reasons, you couldn't make it to the house” " he uttered as Grace filled up the wine glass with wine.
“Yes, for your information, I still feel indebted to you; my mother was the only negative I knew; if I was conscious when they were asking for blood, I would tell them to just buy some” " she uttered and chuckled.
“So tell me, what was growing up like?”He asked.
“I don't know for real, I was already seventeen when my mother passed away, so growing up was good until she left, and Mr. Ethan did my mother wrong in Lucas's hands, he was always running to Lucas at any slightest bankruptcy, he would-
Grace paused and chuckled
“I'm sorry, I'm not supposed to share that”, She uttered.
“It's okay; you sound like you need to let that out”, Gabriel smiled.
“Well yeah, anyways, I guess I'm stuck in love with a monster,” Grace told him.
“You mean Lucas?”He asked and she nodded.
“He was a monster, he still is, though, just not to me anymore,”, She told him.

Mrs. Silver was also getting ready, she had General and Micheal bring her all the past allegations that Lucas got. She arranged everything and smiled, the sweetest part of it was the fact that she was going to raise the murder of Ashley Cole, four clubs and finally his reasons for not being under the GFH
“Or else he is a drug trafficker” She muttered, chuckling to herself.
She stepped into her office and brought out a small bag. She opened it and brought out small green plants. She poured them into a small pot in her office and lit a fire beneath it, she locked her doors and windows.
She is Undressed and Laid on the sofa; she smiled as she inhaled the smoke coming out from the pot, and soon her office was filled with smoke.
Sarah shut down the iPad and returned it to her bag, Kelsey chuckled
“Was that weed? what the fuck!”Kelsey giggled.
“A lawyer that smokes weed, very funny,” Grace uttered.
“I love her style, though; it's a very fancy way of inhaling the plant”, Kelsey added; Sarah stood up.
“I should hurry back to the bar,” She told Grace, hugged her and left. Kelsey was exceptionally happy about this, she already had Sarah send her the footage.
“Alright, I'm so ready for Mrs Silver; she can bring it in”, She uttered.
“Well, she too will want to know what she can use against you, so tread carefully”, Grace warned.

“I hope y'all fed him”, Duke asked the chief security at the four club organization, and he nodded.
“You take him to that interrogation room later”
Lucas added and the chief security left.
“You think Charleston will do it?”Lucas asked Duke.
“He will. He doesn't want to go to prison, nor does he want to let go of his money in the vault”, Duke replied, and Lucas agreed with him.
Later that day, Emily took a stroll down the road. She had never strolled on her own, and she wanted to see how the other path was. Grace knew Emily had left the house without informing anybody, so she called Lucas, and together, they tailed her.
Emily stopped now and then; she would lean on a wall and shut her eyes, and then after some seconds, she would stand again and continue walking. Everywhere was soon lonely, but she still wanted to go further.
All of a sudden, from nowhere, someone covered in a mask came and walked past her, Grace looked closely and saw Emily slump on the ground.
“Hurry Lucas, don't let that person getaway”
She uttered.
Lucas got down and immediately grabbed the person from behind, he held the person so tight and pinned him against the car, Grace hurried over to Emily and helped her to the car
“Don't take off the knife; stay put. I have called Dr Cooper; he is on his way?” " she told Emily and ran to Lucas's side.
He was still holding the person down and tried to uncover the mask but the person refused, suddenly Grace heard a gun crack
“Let it go, Lucas!”She yelled, and Lucas immediately let go of the person, and they walked off immediately, Lucas was panting
“Fucking psycho, who the hell is that, I didn't want to pass them out”, He uttered, panting heavily; Grace stood where she was without moving, the ambulance soon arrived, and Emily was once again rushed to the hospital. Lucas shook Grace.
“Babe, what's up? What's wrong?”He asked, holding her; tears fell off Grace's face, and Lucas hugged her tight.
“It's okay, we will get that person. Besides, Emily will be fine”, Lucas assured her.
“That gun was the exact gun I bought for Sarah”, Grace uttered, and Lucas stared at her.
“What?”He looked deeply at her, Grace quickly wiped the tears off her face
“It could be a coincidence, Grace-
“No, Lucas, it has a blue patch on it; that's the exact one, I'm sure,” Grace told him.
“Fuck” Lucas muttered and hugged her, he led her to the car and opened the door for her to get in
“Let's get out of here”
He told her.
