Chapter 147: The Four Club
Emily was discharged the next day. Lucas used half of the money they had left to hire more men to stand around the house, drive them to places they wanted to go and take a bullet for them if possible. He had Rodrigo explain to the men what was at hand and permitted them to quit. Fortunately, they were all ready.
The mansion was unusually quiet; while Sarah remained downstairs watching TV, Jason was with Emily in her room. Grace was also there, but Lucas had been on a long call with the Duke in his study. Grace was on her phone discussing certain things with Kelsey, but deep down, she wanted to know about the four clubs; besides, Kelsey also wanted to know in case their opponents decided to use it against them.
“Lucas, Hey” Grace entered and shut the door. Lucas smiled widely and ended the call, he walked up to her and engaged her in a deep kiss.
“Are you okay?”He muttered, staring at her; Grace held his hand tight against her cheeks and nodded; they kissed again and breathed heavily.
“Kelsey wants us to come over to the office, She wants you to tell us all about the four clubs-
“Grace I can-
“You have to; for all we know, Mrs. Silver knows about the four clubs and Charleston?, he might have told them all about it, so we need to know so Kelsey would know how to defend you in the court”, Grace explained, and Lucas took a deep breath.
“Fine, are we going now?”
Lucas asked, and she nodded excitedly, he smiled, and they went into their room to get ready.

“He wasn't there” One of Mrs. Silver's men reported to her.
“Do you think he fled?”Mrs. Silver asked.
“I have no idea, ma'am; we ransacked the whole house; it's empty; none of his men are there either, except for the gatekeeper,” " the man explained.
“Fucking Duke”, Micheal murmured after thinking for a long time; Mrs. Silver and General John's gaze fell on him.
“He must have kidnapped him; he told y'all everything about a secret organization. What do you expect?” He explained to them and Mrs.
Silver realized the truth in that; she exhaled sharply and slumped on her chair; this was the toughest case she had ever handled.
“We need to be fast in whatever we are doing; the first court date comes up a week today, and we need more evidence if we want to win that very day and get you that company,”She told Micheal.

Lucas and Grace arrived at the city chamber and went inside Kelsey's office. She was sitting there waiting for them. She stood up and hugged Lucas tightly without noticing Grace's presence. Grace glared at them, and Lucas gently broke out of the hug and sat down. Kelsey stared at Grace, and she smiled.
“The four Club”, She reminded her, and Kelsey sat down.
“Yes please-
She brought out a pen and her note on Lucas's case
“Tell me everything,” She added and stared at Lucas. Lucas took a deep breath and stared at his phone. He got a text from Duke, and he smiled.
“It's a secret organization, we are-, double C, Ashley, Duke and I came up with the idea because we didn't want our firms or companies to be signed under any General Headquarters-
He paused and stared at Grace
“We all run different deals in the Four Club and the rule is you don't get involved in another person's deal, at the end of every month we gather the money we made from our respective deals and send it to the Four Club safe box, it's a huge uh-, a huge vault, each person has theirs-
“Wait, so you have money? How come you haven't brought it out since you went bankrupt!”Grace uttered.
“Calm down, we can't use the money, we are still in October Grace, I don't even know how much I have there-
“But up to billions yeah?”Grace asked.
“I guess we started that organization late last year, and we all agreed that the vault will be opened by the end of the year,” Lucas explained.
“So what's your deal, Lucas?”Kelsey asked, and Lucas cleared his throat; Grace sighed.
“Let's not talk about that,” Grace told Kelsey.
“But you better come up with something to tell the police,” Grace uttered.
“Yes, Duke's working on that,” He replied.
“Again Lucas, what exactly happened to Ashley Cole?”Kelsey asked.
“That's for Duke to answer,” Lucas told them.

Charleston opened his eyes. Finally; he found himself in the middle of the busy four-club organization, tied to a tree. He tried to break free, but he was perfectly tied to the tree.
Duke soon came around
“You're finally conscious,” He uttered.
“What's the meaning of this Martin!” Charleston yelled.
“Well, you were being an ass, so I decided to hold you down before you do more”, Duke told him.
“You know I have never seen the money I made from the four clubs too, it's all locked up in my vault, the money I spend it is my money the one I make from running my company-
“Save me that story, Duke. I know everything, and I know that you know everybody's deal, you and Lucas, uh-I will bring you people down”, Charleston snapped; Duke laughed.
“Lucas will soon be here; maybe you can take him down when he arrives”, Duke uttered and left.

Jason walked downstairs to grab a wine from the bar for Emily. He got downstairs, and Sarah, who was on a call, quickly ended it and smiled at him; he shook his head.
“what are you doing?”He asked, raising his eyebrows; Sarah glared at him for some time and sighed.
“I was speaking to one of my friends; he was asking about my whereabouts”, She told him.
“Mm, was he now?”He snapped in a doubtful tone and went upstairs, he looked back at her each time as he went upstairs.
