Chapter 144:Mystery Stabber
While Lucas, Sarah, Jason and Emily tried to figure out who attacked Grace. she was still on her bed staring at Gabriel, immediately he woke up she held his hand
“Thank you so much, Mr. Gabriel”, She uttered, smiling. Gabriel smiled back and tried to stand up but he was still feeling dizzy.
“You should lay down for another two hours; that's what Dr Cooper said,” Grace told him; Gabriel smiled and laid back.
“I heard the story of how you met with Lucas”
Gabriel told her, she smiled.
“Yeah I guess Mr. Ethan told you all that, it was the worst phase of my life, but it's funny how I am all into him now-
She chuckled
“We almost killed each other, can you believe that?”She asked chuckling
“Yeah I do, nothing is impossible” Gabriel uttered
“And Ethan, you no longer regard him as a father?”He asked her
“I have to, although I'm on the lookout for my biological father, either way, Mr Ethan raised me, not my biological father” " she told him.

Micheal didn't wait to get discharged before leaving the hospital; he was furious, and so was Mr. Victor, but he had to wait for his wound to heal.
Micheal hurried to the G.R.A, he met Duke there with Mrs. Silver
“I told you all that I want Lucas dead; he almost killed me”, Micheal started.
“But he didn't, besides I don't know who did, but at least his bitch is out of the way”, Mrs Silver told him.
“What happened to Grace?”Micheal asked.
“I heard she got stabbed in traffic” Mrs. Silver uttered with a smile. Duke was surprised as he was just hearing about this, he paused and sipped his wine slowly.
“And did you send the stabber?”Micheal asked
“I didn't, did you?”
Mrs. Silver asked, Micheal rolled his eyes at her.

Lucas laughed when Kelsey told him about Mrs. Silver’s visit
“They've got Duke on their side,” Lucas laughed. He was chuckling when his phone rang, and it was Duke; he told him to hurry over to his house immediately.
Arriving at Duke's mansion, he met him furiously pacing up and down
“What is the matter?”He asked.
“Charleston Charles is the matter, why? Why is Charles a greedy man, i will make sure he meets Ashley-
“Calm down, what has he done again?” Lucas asked.
“He told them everything immediately. They included him in the money they're about to embezzle from your company once it gets signed under the GFH. He told them about four clubs and the parties, I just hope he didn't go farther than that,” Duke explained, breathing heavily; just then, the door opened, and his chief security entered.
“You have a visitor sir”
He informed him, he went downstairs with Lucas to see who their visitor was and met the Chief Agent downstairs
“Hello, Mr. Lucas, Mr. Duke-
“What's all this?”Lucas snapped.
“You, sirs, are under arrest for illegitimate business and your legal businesses, which might affect society and the murder of the late Ashley Cole. You have the right to remain silent and the right to an attorney; anything you say or do here will be used against you in a court of law,” The Chief Agent uttered, smiling widely at them.
Lucas smirked and chuckled as they handcuffed both him and Duke Martin and took them away.

“Why Duke Martin!” Mr. Victor shouted.
“Mr Victor I know what I'm doing like I said before I have my sources, Duke was never on our side, and we were going to fall heavily if we continued hoping on him, but Charleston is ready to help-
“how do you even know that?”Micheal chipped in.
“Because he was the one that provided the information we gave to the Chief Agent”
General John uttered.

Grace pleaded with Dr. Cooper and asked him to discharge her as she needed to rush to the station. Dr. Cooper wanted to disagree with this but Grace was adamant.
“Fine, but you will allow Rodrigo to drive you; I will call someone to take Mr Gabriel home”, Dr Cooper told her.
Rodrigo helped Grace to the car and they hurried to the station.
Grace hurried inside with Rodrigo's help, she went straight to the Chief Agent's office and barged in
“What's all these Chief? What are your charges now?” Grace started angrily.
“I don't know, ma'am. Lucas has so many charges, but this one is the most serious as long as it involves Duke Martin “he told her, staring into her eyes.
“release them this instant!” She yelled with her teeth clenched together.
“I'm sorry, but we are looking into it now, and if it's something that requires we release them and put them under house arrest, then we will; if not, they will remain in prison and wait for trials”, Chief told her.
“No transferring until I have seen my lawyer”
Grace snapped.
“Please do, they have the right to an attorney”
He snapped back and excused himself.
Grace went over to see Lucas
“I will get you out of here just be patient-
Duke stepped forward
“I want Charleston Charles dead,” He muttered, clenching his teeth. Grace rubbed his shoulder and held Lucas.
“I will go now, and when I come back, y'all will be released, so you both should hang in there, I also need to figure out who is the fucker that Micheal sent to kill me”, Grace uttered.
“About that, they didn't send anybody after you. It was meant to be Jason, but earlier, he returned their money for them”, Duke informed them.
“It's a mystery, Grace; there's a stabber on the loose”, Lucas uttered angrily; Grace was confused.
“Mr Victor and Micheal were also shot, you know”, Duke added.
“I sent Sarah” Lucas uttered smiling, Grace stared at him
“Why her?”She asked.
“She wanted to hurt Micheal so she insisted she did it for me-
“Lucas, please, let's not indulge her in assassination, please”, Grace whispered; she kissed Lucas and smiled.
“I'm getting you out of here,” She added.
