Chapter 137: Trust
Mr. Victor paced up and down and stopped right in front of Micheal
“how on this earth could you trust a girl that you murmured to her father?”He asked him, Micheal smirked.
“that's the issue, Father, she now believes Lucas did this-
“Mrs. Silver informed me she went through the stuffs-, the documents, what-
“I just got off the phone with Mrs. Silver; everything is intact”, Micheal assured him.
Mr. Victor slumped on the couch and coughed slightly. Micheal stared at him and took a deep breath.
“how come you are hiding things you already told Grace, calling it your secrets doesn't make sense anymore-
“shut up Micheal, the only truth I told her was the accident, I don't just tell people my secrets besides it were clear she was onto something”
Mr. Victor told him.
“And this Gabriel, when I was in middle school, after Mr Ethan's wife's funeral, I never saw him again until now”, Micheal uttered, staring at his father. Mr Victor stood and adjusted his trousers.
“I have a meeting with General John and Mrs. Silver; I'll see you later.”He ignored him and left the house; Micheal chuckled.
“Everybody and secret, literally not my problem i just want to be alive and see Lucas suffer while I enjoy every bit of what life gives”
He smiled and focused on his phone.

“Yes, I'm here to murder Lucas”, Sarah told Grace; Lucas was in a corner wearing his wristwatch.
“Micheal, he is so adamant on killing you isn't he?” Grace spat with a slight anger, Lucas turned and smirked.
“so Micheal has a son huh?-
“I hope you are not planning blood Lucas”
Grace snapped and Lucas smiled at her.
“no, I just want to see my nephew and his father, and hopefully tease him, I always told him I'd have a child before him-
Grace interrupted him and held him tight, she stared into his eyes deeply
“please Lucas, don't do anything stupid, Lexi-
“Yes, I know, Grace, and you've been working so hard. Allow me to do this one thing that will amuse you, Grace” " he told her. Grace nodded, and her phone rang.
“Kelsey?-
“Yes, I was able to convince the police to add any charge that might be placed against Lucas to the case we will be facing soon” " she told Grace, and she smiled.
“Thank you, Kelsey.”She chuckled.
“Yes, so we just need to play a huge chess game on our opponent using our head in every step until the d day”, Kelsey told her.
“All right, you be careful”, Grace uttered and hung up.
“All alright, Lucas, do what you have to do; I'll be with Sarah at Dr. Cooper's office. Dr. Richardson was here to see him about something " she told him, hugged him and left. Sarah stood up and stared at him.
“I know you have a lot to ask; we will talk when all this is over,” Lucas told her, and she chuckled.
“only if you make it alive,” Sarah snapped and left.

Emily got out of the car and took a deep breath, she leaned on the car and waited patiently
“hey hey”
Jason came out from behind and hugged her tightly
“You look sad, Emily; what happened?” Jason asked and stared at him.
“You promised me and Grace to cut ties with Micheal, and just yesterday, We got information about you and some men early at the Rosé's.”Emily sulked, and Jason just stared.
“it's uh-, it's complicated Emily and it's not what you think-
“you can't even place your trust in someone for a whole week in this place, they will surely betray-
Jason hugged her tightly and kissed her on the head
“How about we talk about this over a beer but not at the Rosé's, at my house?”Jason stared at her.
“All right, alright, let's go” " she agreed.

Lucas drove and stopped at Lexi's apartment; she was outside with her son and luggage; Lucas got down and looked at the boy.
“he has his father's ears”, He teased, and Lexi chuckled.
“Are you ready?” He asked, and Lexi nodded; he loaded their luggage into his trunk, they all got in, and he drove them to the airport; he got them a ticket to South Africa and left.
After the airport, he drove straight to his father's house; when he arrived, he saw a chaotic scene in front of the house. Micheal was in a heated argument with Ramone, he had all of Ramone's stuff outside the house and rained curses on him. Lucas felt so triggered, he stormed towards Micheal, held his shirt and hit him against the wall.
“Have you lost it? What sort of humiliation is this to an elderly person? your father's brother?!”He yelled,
Micheal tried to push him off and Lucas threw a blow at him and held him tight against the wall
“So you think you can kill me? Sending an assassin to kill me-
“Trust me, the next one won't fail”, Micheal snapped.
“Well, I know you could care less about Lexi, but what about your thirteen-year-old son Micheal? Don't lay your hands on people that matter to me; I won't hesitate to end you”, Lucas threatened and pushed him. he helped Ramone pack his bags into his car and drive off with him.
“Bastard” Micheal muttered.

General John paced up and down
“check it again”, He told Mrs. Silver, and she flared up.
“I don't make mistakes, general; the shareholder registry and two other documents are fake”, Mrs. Silver uttered.
“what do we do now?”.Mr. Victor asked
“I will have Sarah switch them back.”Micheal entered with Sarah following suit with a huge smile across her face.
“she won't be involved, Micheal-
“Why?, yes she will”, Micheal insisted; general and Mr Victor felt differently about Sarah. They didn't trust her, Mrs. Silver smiled and walked up to Sarah.
“What about she proves to us that we can trust her?” She suggested.
