I woke up to sunlight streaming through the windows, feeling more rested than I had in months. The sheets were tangled around my waist, leaving my chest exposed to the cool morning air. I turned my head to find Olivia still fast asleep beside me, her naked body partially covered by the thin white sheet.
It hit me suddenly. I was married. Actually fucking married. The ring on my finger felt foreign, almost uncomfortable. But at least I’d secured my future. Once Grandfather was satisfied our marriage wasn’t fake, the controlling stake in Carter Enterprises would be mine. All I had to do was keep up appearances for a year.
I propped myself up on one elbow, taking the opportunity to really look at my new wife. The sheet had slipped down, exposing one perfect breast, the nipple still slightly red from my rough attention last night.
My eyes traveled down her body to where the sheet barely covered her hips. I carefully pulled it back, exposing more of her. She didn’t stir, her breathing remaining deep and even.
Her pussy was neatly trimmed, fully exposed. I’d felt how smooth she was last night, but seeing it in the morning light was something else. She looked good enough to eat, and my cock stirred at the memory of how she’d tasted.
Turning slightly, she shifted in her sleep, the sheet falling away completely to reveal her ass. Jesus fuck. Her ass was a work of art: round and firm with a perfect handful of flesh. I could see the faint red marks where I’d spanked her, and my cock hardened instantly at the memory of how she’d moaned when I’d brought my hand down on her.
I’d fucked more women than I could count over the years. Models, actresses, socialites, women who made a living off their beauty. But none of them had responded to me the way Olivia had. None of them had taken my roughness and begged for
more.
I’d never expected to enjoy myself this much with Olivia.
And it wasn’t just the sex. I’d actually enjoyed our dinner conversations, her quick wit, and sharp intelligence. She didn’t simper or pretend to be impressed by my wealth. She challenged me, called me on my shit.
Not that I was attracted to her beyond the physical. That would be ridiculous. This was a business arrangement, nothing more. Marriage was an emotional trap I’d seen destroy too many men. Love was a weakness I couldn’t afford.
Still, watching her sleep, her face peaceful and her body completely exposed to me, I felt something I hadn’t expected: a sense of possession. Mine. At least for the next year.
Olivia stirred slightly, murmuring something in her sleep. Her eyelids fluttered but didn’t open.
I watched as she unconsciously shifted closer to me, her naked body seeking warmth. Her hair was a tangled mess spread across the pillow, and there were faint marks on her neck where I’d sucked too hard,
Fuck, she looked good like this. Naked, marked, in my bed.
I trailed a finger lightly down her arm, watching goosebumps rise in its wake. She made a small noise, somewhere between a sigh and a moan, and I felt my cock twitch in response.
Her eyes finally fluttered open, confusion clouding them for a brief moment before recognition dawned. She gasped softly, pulling the sheet up to cover her breasts in a belated show of modesty that made me want to laugh. A little late for shyness after the way she’d begged me to fuck her last night.
“Morning,” I said, voice still rough with sleep.

Olivia blinked rapidly, pushing hair from her face. “Morning.” Her voice was husky, and I could see the moment she realized she was completely naked. Her cheeks flushed pink. “I need to use the bathroom.”
“All yours.”
She hesitated, clutching the sheet. “Could you turn around?”
Now I did laugh. “Seriously? After what we did last night, you’re suddenly shy?”
Her blush deepened. “It’s different in daylight.”
“Fine.” I rolled my eyes but turned away. I heard the rustle of sheets as she slid out of bed, her quick footsteps padding across the floor, then the click of the bathroom door.
Women. Fucking impossible to understand.
I got up, pulled on a pair of boxer briefs, and headed to the kitchen. I figured I’d better get coffee started. I filled the machine with water and ground some beans, inhaling the rich aroma as they brewed.
Olivia appeared in the doorway a few minutes later, wearing my t–shirt from yesterday. It hung to mid–thigh, leaving her long legs bare. Her hair was pulled back in a messy ponytail, face freshly washed. Without makeup, she looked younger, more vulnerable.
‘I borrowed your shirt,” she said unnecessarily. “Hope that’s okay.”
‘Looks better on you anyway.” I poured coffee into two mugs. “How do you take it?”
‘Black is fine.”
I handed her a mug, our fingers brushing. “Hungry?”
‘Starving, actually.” She took a sip of coffee, closing her eyes briefly in appreciation.
I’ll make us something.” I moved to the refrigerator and pulled out eggs, bacon, and some vegetables.
Olivia leaned against the counter, watching me. “Need any help?”
You can cut the peppers and onions if you want.”
She nodded, set down her coffee, and moved to the cutting board I’d placed on the counter. I started the bacon frying while she chopped vegetables with surprising efficiency.
We worked in surprisingly comfortable silence, the sizzle of bacon and rhythmic sound of her knife on the cutting board filling the kitchen. I cracked eggs into a bowl and whisked them while she finished chopping.
‘So this is married life,” she said finally, a hint of teasing in her voice. “Cooking breakfast together after a night of mindblowing sex.”
I glanced at her, amused by her bluntness. “Is that what it was? Mindblowing?”
“Don’t fish for compliments. Your ego is big enough.”
“Not the only thing that’s big.” I winked at her, enjoying the way her cheeks flushed.
“Gross.” But she was fighting a smile.

I poured the eggs into the pan with the vegetables she’d chopped. “Hand me that spatula.”
She passed it to me, then leaned against the counter again, watching me cook. “You know what you’re doing in a kitchen.”
“I know what I’m doing everywhere. I flipped the bacon, the smell making my stomach growl.
“So modest.”
“False modesty is bullshit.” I stirred the eggs. “I’m good at cooking. I’m good at running my company. I’m good at fucking. Why pretend otherwise?”
Olivia rolled her eyes. “Has anyone ever told you you’re insufferable?”
“Frequently. Usually right before they beg me to make them come again.”
“You’re unbelievable.”
“That’s what you said last night. Right after the second orgasm, I think.”
“Are you always this crude in the morning?”
“Are you always this uptight after getting your brains fucked out?”
To my surprise, Olivia laughed. “Fair point. I’ll try to loosen up.”
“Good.” I plated the eggs and bacon, adding some sliced avocado I found in the fridge. “Breakfast is served.”
