Chapter – 3
Third Person's POV
“You have not changed your dress yet?”
Hiya's trance broke hearing Rishav's voice. She looked up at saw Rishav standing in the doorway of her room wearing comfy night attire.
RISHAV : why haven’t you changed yet?
HIYA : I…I…
Hiya didn’t understand what will she say…that she was crying for her luck. She was angry that she has accepted such an arrangement!
RISHAV : ok…whatever. Change your dress and come to my room quickly and the maids will shift your things to my room.
HIYA : What? Why?
Hiya asked hurriedly.
RISHAV : Because Grandpa is coming…I don’t know why he is coming back! He has not gone to the village. Hurry up and come to my room.
Saying this Rishav left the room. Hiya knew she has no other choice, so after changing her bridal attire she went to Rishav's room.
Entering inside the room the room Hiya saw Rishav has already laid down on the bed and scrolling something in his mobile phone. She was standing quietly at a corner of the room not understanding where she will sleep. In the room except bed there was a small couch but it was not big enough for a person to lay down on it.
Sensing that Hiya was not moving, Rishav looked up from his phone with an inquiring expression.
HIYA : I…where will I sleep?
Rishav looked at Hiya as if she has grown two heads on her shoulder.
RISHAV : Normal people sleep on beds…I can not tell about you.
HIYA : What do you mean normal people? Am I looking abnormal to you?
RISHAV : Then what can I say? You can see a bed in front of you but still, you are asking where you will sleep!
Hiya looked at Rishav with a frowning expression and said in an accused tone…
HIYA : how could you say that? You are also sleeping on bed! How can I sleep on that?
Rishav who was laying till now, sat up on the bed and kept his phone on the bedside table. Then he looked at Hiya with a serious expression.
RISHAV : Hiya, maybe I look like a jerk to you but I am not. I know my boundaries. This bed is more than big enough for sleeping two people. You can see the couch, even a toddler can not sleep on that comfortably. So don’t expect me to sleep on that. I am not that much gentleman. Now it’s your choice you want to sleep on the couch or on the bed.
Said this Rishav laid down on his side of the bed leaving enough space for Hiya to sleep.
Hiya was still standing there with a dilemma. She could see that it would be really uncomfortable if she sleeps on the couch. She will not fit on the couch. And sleeping on the bed beside Rishav, this thought was making Hiya a little nervous and uncomfortable.
When Hiya was in her dilemma, Rishav again spoke tilting his head up and looking directly at her.
RISHAV : Hiya, you can trust me. If we sleep on the same there will be no problem. We both know our boundaries. There is nothing wrong if we sleep on the same bed. Don't waste your time… come here and sleep. You have to wake up early tomorrow for some rituals. I will not say anymore. Either sleep here or sit on the couch. Don't stand there like a statue.
Switching off the lamp beside him, Arav closed his eyes for sleeping. After some minutes slowly Hiya came and laid down on the bed keeping enough distance between them.
