I was awakened because I heard a familiar voice shouting in anger. I felt so lost and hopeless. Am I kidnapped again? Is this always going to be my story because I chose to stay in our university?
“Fuck you! You’ll be damned once we get out of here!” Heaven shouted. I can only imagine his struggle right now since I can’t see anything because of this blindfold.
I heard that the other guys in this room laughed after he said that. We’re hopeless. I know that we can’t do anything right now but to accept our fate because they’re in control.
I don’t know what to do. I was traumatized from my first abduction and it’s making me anxious because I can’t see anything right now. Do they have their guns pointed at us? Who knows? But I have to be strong. I need to be strong!
“If you only chose to keep your hands off of Stone,” someone said which made me confused.
Stone? What does he have to do with this? Is he the reason behind these abductions happening to me? The thought of it is making me question his genuineness since day one because I thought we were okay.
“Even if you gang up against me, you’re still no match because you are weak,” Heaven fiercely answered which made me become more terrified of our situation.
I suddenly heard a thump and following that is the sound of Heaven coughing.
“You can only fight now because I’m tied up,” Heaven proudly said even though he’s struggling to speak up.
I wanted him to stop because he’s putting his life to a greater danger for triggering their egos. What is he thinking right now?
I heard him coughing consequently so I know that he’s being beaten so bad right now. My tears suddenly fell because I can imagine his pain. I wanted to remain quiet but if he’s fighting now, there’s no reason for me to shut my mouth.
“Stop! Don’t hurt him!” I shouted in despair. I can’t stand the fact that he’s struggling right now while I’m here doing nothing to save him from that.
“Look who’s awake!”
I imagined the grin on his face when he said that. Suddenly, I heard some steps approaching my direction. I felt my sweat dripping over because of the tension that I’m feeling.
“You used to save him every time but right now, who’s going to save the two of you?” That person asked. I suddenly heard him wield his gun which sent shivers through my body.
“Damn you! Get your hands off of him! I will kill you!” I heard Heaven’s anger intensified from that point. You can hear the heaviness of his breath as he speak which proves how mad he is right now.
“How will you do it if you’ll be dead by now?” That person asked.
I prayed to all the angels that I can call right now just to save us.
“Do it! Do it!” He fiercely said tempting these people to push through.
An awkward silence occupied the room before a loud shot was heard.
“Heaven!” I shouted as I cry helplessly because I’m sure that it was Heaven.
I can only wish right now for that shot not to be fatal. He can’t be dead. I don’t want him dead! Thinking of how I avoided him just because I don’t want to be attached with him is bothering my conscience because if he’ll be dead by now, he doesn’t deserve the last thing that I made him feel.
I suddenly felt a cold hand touched my face.
“Are you happy now?” I asked feeling all the madness in the world.
Heaven fought until the very last just to fight these people and I will make sure to do the same. If I’ll be alive after this day, I’m going to make them pay for it!
“What can you do if you’re already next on the list?” He asked as if teasing me on how will I react to that.
I will admit that I am so scared but that won’t stop me. Again, Heaven risked his life to fight these people and I’d gladly do the same rather than to accept that I’m going to die without a fight.
“Kill me!” I dared him. “Don’t give me a chance to fight back because I can assure you that you are going to pay for this!”
My heart still can’t accept that Stone is the reason behind this abduction. Why? What is his reason for putting us in this situation? I thought that he’s already trying to reconcile but why did it have to come to this point? Is he pretending all along? If so, then why?
All those questions in my mind right now is making me feel so bad because I trusted the wrong person. I thought I already knew him.
“That clearly won’t happen because you’ll be dead by now,” he said and wielded his gun for the second time.
It didn’t take too long before I heard another shot that echoed into the whole room. I was surprised because I didn’t feel anything painful in my body but that shot was followed by another shot... then another, until I can no longer count.
They’re exchanging gunshots right now. I wanted to believe that the heaven heard my prayers and sent some people to help us. I kept on praying for Heaven’s safety. I want to come near him but I don’t know where he’s at right now. Hopefully, he can still make it through until we can send him to the hospital already.
“Hans?” I heard a familiar voice call my name.
