Chapter 31 Creating Chaos
Lilac could not be bothered about Eric. She had been monitoring all accounts her family knew about. From her memory of her last life, her family tried to hide their involvement by redirecting the agents to other accounts she had. It was as though they were determined to nail her to her coffin.
There was one thing that bothered Lilac. In her memory her family was suddenly very supportive of her divorcing Eric faster. Why? Lilac was sure there was something about her Eric needs and her family probably figured it out.
She did not need to wait long. She soon found that an account of hers suddendly had movement. The account suddenly received a large sum of money.
Lilac hurriedly called the accountant.
"Hi, I realized some money was just sent into my account. I am unsure who they are from. Can you check?" Lilac asked.
"Madam, you arrived today to ask for a loan, didn't you? With your husband's family's standing, the bank found it prudent to fast track the loan," the accountany said.
"Mr Hendricks, I have been at home for days due to injuries to my foot that make walking difficult. How did I walk into your bank for a loan?" Lilac asked and the accountant paused.
"You have allowed unknown people to take out a large sum in my name, that is fraud. I would like you to have this reported instantly," Lilac said and ended the call.
At this point, she was seething. How dare they try to use her?
But when she thought about it, this could be to her advantage. When her divorce with Eric gets finalized in the future, she would need to fend off her parent. It was best to creat a paper trail of how greedy they are as evidence for the future. Yes, she needs to create chaos. Enough chaos for the world to know she had fallen out with them.
Lilac dressed in a sharp red suit and put on her heel. Her legs hurt in those shoes, but she was going to battle. And she could not go looking anything less than a warrior.
Lilac did her make up, took up her bag and left the house. She called her family's butler for her parents location, only to find that they were having dinner at an upscale restaurant uptown.
After a few minutes, Lilac dressed in red walked into the family dinner being held in the resturant in fury. Her steps were crisp against the expensive tile. Ignoring the stabbing pain to her toes and foot, she walked all the way to the private room, slamming the door open and startling all who sat there. Before anyone could react to her presence, she walked up to Micheal, dressed in a black, picked a bowl of soup next to him and poured it over his head.
“Lilac Hart!!” a middle aged woman screamed.
“Hello, Madam Hart, why does your voice sound like a screeching car? Did you injure it with your conscience?” Lilac asked in response, before turning to Micheal that was now drenched in soup and picked up another bowl of porridge and threw at June seated beside him.
“My dress? Do you know how much it cost? Are you crazy?!” June screamed in horror.
“You really are brave to wear white, June. Are you not afraid that your black heart will stain it?”
“Lilac, stop it. Why are you doing this? We invited you to meet up, but you refused several times, why do this now? You are family...” the drenched Micheal stood up to shield June from Lilac and started to speak.
“Oh, shut it. Who cares about your stupid family? What does all this rubbish have to do with me? Are you stupid? Did your parent not teach you that enemies never turn the other cheek? How could your shameless bunch try to frame me on that boat and still think I should treat you like family?” Lilac scolded.
“Lilac, there is no need to bring my parents into this!” the man shouted back.
“Why not? They are sitting here with you, having dinner with a a family the Blacks now hate and yet they want to remove themselves from the situation?” Lilac asked.
“Will you behave yourself, Lilac?” Lilac saw her father, Mr Hart stand abruptly, “Must you embarass the family this way? No matter what, both of you are sisters, Micheal is your brother rin law, don't speak to him that way!”
“Old man, are you crazy?” Lilac asked.
“What did you call me?” the man paused and asked.
“What should I call you? Dad? Where has anyone seen a father that helped his wife and other daughter frame one of his children? You dare try to scold me? Is it because i did not throw soup on you so you still feel clean in your soul?” she asked.
“How dare you?” her father asked.
“How dare I what? Do you all have no shame? You drugged me into Eric's bed and basically orchestrated my entire marriage just for your benefit. And after all I did to let you all have your way, you frame me?" Lilac asked then. Turned to her mother.
“You all are the most disgusting family on the planet, it is not wonder you would end up with a trash son in law like Micheal. I am sure he got his direct personality from his family,” she glanced towards Micheal's family. Lilac almost felt the need to curse and lash out at someone right now.
“Do you believe I will kill you right here?” When he head his mother getting scolded, the drenched man raised his hand to throw a slap but Lilac picked a tray and slapped his hand away, before slaming it into his face.
“Micheal, You dare try to touch me? Don't think I do not know your are the Brian behind the nonsense this family is doing to me.”she asked and slammed his face with the tray again. Micheal was never a large built man. He was a lean as a chewing stick and looked as though the wind could blow hima way ta any given second.
When the drenched June saw her husband get hit, she exploded in rage.
“You dare hit him?” june made to attempted to throw a slap, but the heavenly stainless steel tray wasn’t done. Lilac connected the edge of the tray to her jaw and a scream broke.
“Dirty bitch,” Lilac cussed. At this point, the commotion in the room was being spectated through the door Lilac had slammed open when she walked in. The private room on the other side was even more enthralled by the show. Three men in black sat there watching the entertainment.
“Lilac, that is your sister!” her father shouted as Mrs Hart rushed over to help her daughter.
“Please be careful what wild animal you attach my name to. As though framing me was not enough, you dread tried t take a loan in my name? You dare turn against me today. You are dead to me!” her eyes reddened as she spat her words.
“Micheal, are you okay?” Micheals’s mother hurried over to help her son. When she saw how much pain he was in and the blood leeking from his nose. She was enraged. She jumped up so fast, she resembled a toad for a moment there. The next moment, she attempted to jump on Lilac. Lilac grabbed the older woman by the hair and threw her unto the table. When her husband attempted to interfer, the heavenly tray slammed into his face.
