Chapter 73

Shazeal started to act upon the plan designed by Burhan, Zain, and her. So, she attacked Ayzel, when she was alone in the kitchen.

"Hello!" Shazeal called Ayzel. She was cutting vegetables.

"Hi," Ayzel answers softly.

"So, you are the mother of that adorable little girl. What is her name?" Shazeal was very keen to know.

"Farheen. But we all call her Fairy." Ayzel said.

"Your name is Ayzel, right? I just came to know from others you have been working here for a long time." Shazeal was getting close to Ayzel.

In return, Ayzel nodded only.

"Ayzel since you have been working here for a long time, do you have any idea about Zain's first wife? I mean do you know why they are not together? What kind of woman she is?" What was the secret behind her curiosity?

Ayzel stopped the task she was doing and was lost in some thoughts.

"She was a characterless, vile, and cheap woman who destroyed a happy family. It's great that Sir Zain is finally getting rid of her." Ayzel's answer made Shazeal face drop.

"Don't you think you are using very harsh words for her?" Shazeal was upset at Ayzel's answer.

"Ma'am you asked me a question and I gave you an honest answer. You are about to start a new and happy life with Mr.Zain. He will keep you very happy. Forget about his first wife. Don't mention that woman's ominous name when you are about to begin the new and blessed chapter of your life." Ayzel answered her politely and then took her life.

Shazeal was like "WHAT!"

"Congratulations Dear, the first step of our plan has successfully failed." She wanted to slap herself and Burhan.

Ayzel did not act like they planned or thought. She did not get provoked but drowned Shazeal's heart. But she wanted to break the heads of Burhan and Zain as well.

Both boys gave a shocked expression when Shazeal told them what happened downstairs.

"Look, Mr. Zain, I want to be out of this mess right now. That girl is loathing herself. Can you believe it? But please believe it. That girl was nowhere to be jealous from any corner. But your plan will drown me. It was decided from the beginning that you would never marry me and just buy time to fool your grandmother. But NOW THIS! No, no, no." Shazeal was shaking her hands in the air. She was extremely anxious.

"Ms. Shazeal instead of blaming do your work with more efficiency. I am offering you a very big amount. Though you are the daughter of a billionaire. You did not negotiate on your rates. Where are you proud now?" Zain scoffed. Inside he was troubled too. He never thought that their plan would backfire now.

Shazeal gave him a murderous look. Before they could take each other lives, Burhan spoke.

"Now we have to provoke her motherly side. That's the only option we have now." Burhan stated that with a bit of sadness. Shazeal looked in disbelief at both males. But by looking at their serious face she understood that she had to do that part of the plan.

Shazeal spent more time with children. But she pretended a bit of cold behavior towards Arham. She only did this in front of Ayzel. Arham was feeling it but Ayzel always told him it was okay, Shazeal would love him.

Arham was on his way out of the kitchen. He was carrying a glass of juice. Ayzel and Asma were there too. Shazeal found it the perfect opportunity.

"Ya Allah please forgive me beforehand. But you know my intention is pure." Shazeal said in her heart.

She intentionally engrossed herself in mobile and started walking towards Arham. She collided with Arham and as a result, the juice split on her clothes.

"You blind boy! Can't you see!" She shouted. Ayzel got frozen at her place. Asma was shocked too.

Arham became frightened at his place.

"You ruined all my clothes! Stand right there I will teach you a lesson." She was about to slap him when Asma interfered.

"Calm Down, Shazeal Ma'am. Come upstairs. I will help you." Asma said.

Arham looked at his mother. The moisture was present in the eyes of both. Both were helpless. But Ayzel's eyes were telling him it was okay, don't worry.

The next day Asma told the matter to Aliya Khanum. She did not believe that Shazeal had gone that far. The trio was sure that the engagement would be canceled right now. Aliya Khanum would never let any cruel person walk around her great-grandson.

Aliya called Arham to listen to his words. But his words surprised and shocked everyone.

"No, Dadi Jaan. Shazeal's Aunt is very nice to me. I just threw juice on her. It was my mistake. She did not scold me that much. I like her very much." these were his words. Aliya smiles to know that they have developed a good bond.

But it was Ayzel who told him to say those words. She was making her son accept Shazeal at any cost. She was making her and her son sacrifice. But for what? For whom?

For Zain's happiness

For her freedom

For Farheen's protection and Happiness.

Ayzel was serving tea to Shazeal. Both were alone. For Ayzel it was the right time to say something she wanted to say.

"Shazeal Ma'am, I want to say something to you. Forgive me beforehand if my words are disrespectful. I know as an ordinary maid I don't have a right to say it. But please just listen to me once." There were intense emotions present on Ayzel's face.

"Yes, yes Ayzel. I am listening." Shazeal said eagerly. She was hoping perhaps Ayzel say something they were desiring.

"Ma'am, Arham is a very nice and sweet boy. Because of her mother's cruelty, he has already suffered. But now he is seeking the love of a mother from you. He is dreaming of a complete family by your and Sir Zain's side. Yesterday thing was an accident. But please try to love and understand Arham." With difficulty, Ayzel managed to say these words. She was holding back her tears.

Ayzel's words made Shazeal silent. Ayzel left no space or chance.

The trio of Burhan, Zain, and Shazeal were gathered in the study with sullen faces. Shazeal told them the thinking of Ayzel. She was nowhere to turn back.

Meanwhile, Jojo came inside to serve them snacks. She was placing the things on the table when Shazeal.

"I should never have listened to you guys. The plan was a total disaster and failure from the beginning." She slammed her hand on the table.

Both Zain and Burhan warned her through their eyes. Jojo was there.

"If you guys are trying to make Ayzel jealous or anything else to make her stay here, then you people are wasting time," Jojo muttered in an audible sound.

She gathered the attention of the trio.

"Come, come sit here. Tell us what you know." Shazeal dragged Jojo by her hand and made her sit on the chair previously occupied by her.

Jojo was nervous about telling them what Ayzel told her but in the end, she told them.

"She is more happy and eager about the second marriage of Sir Zain. She thinks that Shazeal Ma'am would heal the wounds and soul of Sir Zain. The happiness of herself and the fairy is outside the mansion. Ayzel has already prepared Arham mentally for the future. I am the one who has heard and seen her eyes. She is never going to come back." Jojo sighed.

"Does not she know that only she can heal me?" Zain asked in pain from Jojo. "Can you tell her that her departure will burn my soul more?" his eyes filled with tears.

Jojo looked at him silently. She has now an answer to his questions.

"You should have thought this before crossing the lines. I am included in that massacre as well. You are not alone to be blamed. But it's time to realize and accept the truth, Zain. Everything is over between you and Ayzel." Burhan spoke the truth for him. The truth Zain was denying for a very long time. Burhan's words collapsed Zain's world.

Burhan patted Zain's shoulder and left him. One by one Jojo and Shazeal got out of the room. No one had encouraging words for him. They could not even show sympathy to him after all his actions.

He was responsible for Ayzel's current situation and decision. He had successfully ruined her soul and heart and now like a fool, he was trying to crave happiness from the shattered soul and heart of Ayzel.

An already broken girl at the hands of an unknown tyrant was brought to his doorstep for his revenge.

And after all this, he expected that Ayzel might feel something for him.

How foolish!
