Chapter 78: The Goddess Ram’s Gift

Third Person’s Point of View

In the Nexus world…

The goddess Ram sat upon her throne, watching as the two queens stood before her. They had come seeking her aid, as their kingdom was in great distress.

“Goddess Ram,” Queen Metaphor said, bowing before the divine being. “We beg for your assistance. Our land is suffering, and we do not know what to do.”

Queen Evionna spoke next. “We have done all we can as rulers, but our Nexians need more than we can provide. Please, Goddess Ram, grant us your wisdom.”

The goddess Ram looked upon the two queens with compassion. She knew of their troubles, for she had watched as their land was consumed by strife. She had seen their Nexians suffer, their crops wither, and their homes destroyed.

“Rise, my children,” the goddess Ram said in a gentle voice. “You are not alone in your struggle. I will grant you my gift so that you may help your Nexians and bring peace to your land.”

With that, the goddess Ram stretched out her hand and created a glowing orb of light. She spoke a word of power, and the orb began to pulse with energy.

“Take this gift,” the Goddess Ram said, handing the orb to Queen Metaphor. “It will give you the power to heal the sick, mend the broken, and protect your Nexians from harm.”

Queen Metaphor reached out and took the orb, feeling its magic flow through her veins. She closed her eyes, and a vision appeared before her. In it, she saw her Nexians suffering, and she felt a surge of determination to help them.

“Thank you, Goddess Ram,” she said. “I will use this gift to help my Nexians in any way I can.”

The goddess Ram turned to Queen Evionna. “And you, my child, shall receive a similar gift. Take this orb and use it to bring hope and joy to your Nexians.”

Queen Evionna took the orb and felt its magic wash over her. She too saw a vision of her Nexians living in peace and prosperity.

“Thank you, Goddess Ram,” she said, tears in her eyes. “I will do all in my power to make this vision a reality.”

With that, the goddess Ram nodded, and the queens bowed before her once more. They left her presence, feeling empowered and renewed.

Queen Metaphor returned to her kingdom, ready to put her newfound power to good use. She saw her Nexians suffering, and she knew she had to act quickly.

She traveled throughout her land, healing the sick and mending the wounded. She used her magic to repair the damage caused by the recent battles, restoring homes and rebuilding cities.

As she worked, she saw the hope return to her Nexians’s eyes. They began to smile once more, and their joy filled the air.

Queen Evionna did the same in her kingdom, using her power to inspire her Nexians. She traveled throughout her land, spreading hope and joy wherever she went.

She brought music and laughter to her Nexians, and they rejoiced in her presence. They began to work harder, and their spirits lifted as they saw their queen working alongside them.

Together, the two queens brought their kingdoms back to life. They worked long and hard, using their gifts to help their Nexians live better lives.

Years passed, and the two queens had become old. They had ruled their kingdoms wisely, and the Nexians loved them.

One day, as they sat together in Queen Methapor’s garden, they heard a voice.

“Well done, my children,” the goddess Ram said, appearing before them. “You have used my gift well, and I am pleased with the results.”

The two queens looked upon the goddess Ram, feeling grateful for her gift.

“You have brought peace and prosperity to your lands,” the goddess Ram continued. “And you have been an example for all rulers to follow.”

The queens nodded, feeling humbled by the goddess Ram’s words.

“I have one more gift for you,” the goddess Ram said, holding out her hand. “This gift is for your own use, and it is something that I have rarely given to mortals.”

The queens watched as a bright light appeared in the goddess Ram’s hand. She opened her hand, and they saw that it was a small crystal, sparkling in the sunlight.

“This is a crystal of immortality,” the goddess Ram said. “With it, you will live forever. You will never age, and you will never die.”

The queens stared at the crystal in awe. They knew that this was a gift beyond measure.

“Take it,” the goddess Ram said, extending her hand. “Use it well and use it wisely.”

The queens reached out and took the crystal. They felt its power pulsing through their bodies, and they knew that they would live forever.

“Thank you, Goddess Ram,” Queen Metaphor said, tears in her eyes. “We will use this gift to ensure that our kingdoms remain prosperous and peaceful forever.”

The goddess Ram smiled, and then she was gone, leaving the two queens alone in the garden.

Years turned into centuries, and the queens watched as their kingdoms flourished. They watched as generations of their Nexians lived, loved, and died.

But the queens remained the same. They never aged, and they never succumbed to death.

They watched as their lands changed, as new cultures arose and old ones faded away. They watched as wars came and went, always remaining neutral.

But they never lost sight of their duty. They continued to rule their kingdoms, ensuring that peace and prosperity always prevailed.

And as the centuries passed, they realized that the goddess Ram’s gift was more than just immortality. It was a gift of responsibility, a charge to always do what was best for their Nexians.

And so they continued to rule, never wavering in their determination to ensure that their lands remained happy and content. They knew that their gift was not just for themselves but for the greater good of all those around them.

And so it was that Goddess Ram’s gift continued to live on, through the hands of the two queens who had used it wisely and well.

Metaphor and Evionna made their way through the jungle, following the map that Evionna had drawn up. They had been traveling for several days now and were growing tired. But they knew they had to press on, as they were getting close to the lost world.

Finally, they reached a clearing in the jungle. In the distance, they could see the ruins of an ancient world, overgrown with vines and foliage. The metaphor’s heart was pounding with excitement as they made their way towards it.

As they approached the world, they saw that it was surrounded by a massive stone wall, with guard towers at each corner. The wall was covered in ivy and moss, and vines hung down from the top like curtains.

Metaphor and Evionna approached the gate, which was made of thick, dark wood and bound with metal bands. It was massive, and it took both to push it open.

When they stepped inside, they were amazed at what they saw. The world was enormous, with buildings and temples stretching off into the distance as far as the eye could see. It must have been a major cultural and religious center in its day.

But now it was a ghost town. The streets were deserted, and the buildings were crumbling and overgrown with vegetation. There was silence, except for the sound of their footsteps and the occasional bird call.

Metaphor and Evionna walked down the main street, taking in the sights and sounds of the lost world. They marveled at the intricately carved statues and stone buildings, imagining what life must have been like here thousands of years ago.

Suddenly, they heard a noise. It sounded like someone or something was following them. They turned around, but there was no one there. They shrugged it off and continued their way, but the feeling of being watched persisted.

After a few minutes, they reached the central world. In the middle of the world stood a massive temple with a towering steeple that reached towards the sky. The temple was the largest building in the world, and it was clear that this was the center of the world’s religious life.

As they approached the temple, they saw that it was guarded by a group of fierce-looking warriors. They wore elaborate headdresses made of feathers and carried ornate weapons, spears, and knives. They were a formidable-looking bunch, and Metaphor and Evionna knew that they needed to approach them carefully.

“Greetings,” Metaphor said, holding up her hands in a gesture of peace. “We come in friendship.”

The warriors eyed them warily, their hands on their weapons. They spoke a language that Metaphor and Evionna didn’t understand, but they could tell that they were being challenged.

Evionna stepped forward, holding up a necklace that she had brought with her. “We come from the Sacred Isles,” she said in the language of the warriors. “We seek the knowledge of your Nexians.”

The warriors looked at the necklace, their expressions softening. They spoke among themselves for a moment and then stepped aside, gesturing for Metaphor and Evionna to enter the temple.
