Chapter 72

Hesperus Point of View

"You're one of the Seven Deadly Sins," I said, feeling anger and fear.

"Yes, I am. I am Blasphemer, the one who lures the unwary to their demise," he said, chuckling.

"What do you want?" I asked him, trying to buy time.

"I want the divine crystal, sun and moon. Give it to me, and I will let you live," he said, removing his hood.

He had blonde hair and green eyes. He was young, no older than twenty. He had a handsome face, but it was distorted by his evil grin.

"I'll never give it to you," I said, holding the Divine Pendant tightly.

"I thought you would say that. Very well, then. I'll have to take it by force," he said, unsheathing his sword.

He charged at me, and I tried to dodge, but my body was too weak. He aimed his sword at my neck, and I closed my eyes, waiting for the impact.

Suddenly, I felt a surge of energy flowing through my body. I opened my eyes, and I saw that the Divine Pendant was glowing brightly. I felt my strength returning, and I felt invincible.

I grabbed his sword, and he was taken aback by my sudden burst of strength. I kicked him in the stomach, and he flew back. He got up, and he looked at me in disbelief.

"Impossible," he muttered.

"I won't let you get the divine crystal. You're a monster who deserves to be punished," I said, feeling rage and determination.

"You're a fool, Sun and Moon. I am one of the Seven Deadly Sins. I am invincible," he said, charging at me again.

This time, I was ready. I blocked his sword with the Divine Pendant, and the crystal emitted a blinding light. The blasphemer shielded his eyes, and I took advantage of the situation. I kicked him in the face, and he fell to the ground.

I stood over him, holding the pendant tightly.

"Leave me alone, Blasphemer. Leave this forest and never come back," I ordered him.

"You may have won this time, Sun and Moon. But the darkness will consume you, and you will succumb to its power," he said, disappearing into the forest.

I stood there, panting and exhausted. The Divine Pendant stopped glowing, and I felt my energy returning to normal. I looked around, and I saw that the path was clear. The clearing was now empty, and I was alone again.

"Let's go, then," I said to myself, continuing my journey.

I walked for a few more hours, and the forest became brighter. The trees were greener, and the leaves were fresher. I saw a light in the distance, and I ran towards it.

As I got closer, I saw that it was the temple. It was a big structure made of marble and gold with a large door. The door had a symbol engraved on it—a symbol of a crystal with a halo.

"This is it," I said, feeling excited.

I approached the door, and it slowly opened. I entered the temple, and I felt a strange energy swirling around me. The temple was dark, and the only light came from a crystal in the center of the room.

I approached the crystal, and I saw that it was the divine crystal. It was big and glowing, emitting a bright light. I felt the energy coming from it, and I felt my body reacting to it.

I closed my eyes, and I felt a presence around me. It was like something was touching my mind, trying to communicate with me.

"Who's there?" I asked, feeling scared.

"It is I, the goddess of the divine crystal," a voice spoke.

"Goddess, why did you bring me here?" I asked her.

"I brought you here for a reason, Sun and Moon. You possess divine energy, and only you can activate the crystal," she explained.

"How do I do that?"

"Touch the crystal and release your power. The crystal will do the rest," she said.

I approached the crystal and touched it with my hand. Suddenly, a surge of energy flowed through me, and I felt my body glowing. I closed my eyes and focused on the energy within me.

Suddenly, I heard a voice in my head. It was the voice of the goddess.

"Repeat after me, sun and moon. Repeat and release the divine energy," she said.

I repeated what she said, and I felt my body shaking. I opened my eyes, and I saw that the crystal was glowing brighter than before. Suddenly, a beam of light shot out from the crystal, and it hit me.

I felt the energy flowing through me, and I felt my mind opening up. I saw visions of the past and the future, of the people I loved and the people I hated. I saw the darkness consuming the world, and I saw myself defeating it.

Suddenly, the vision stopped, and I felt my mind clearing up. I opened my eyes, and I saw that the crystal had stopped glowing. I felt my power returning to normal, and I felt a sense of peace within me.

"It's done," I said to myself, feeling proud.

"Congratulations, Sun and Moon. You have released the divine energy and activated the crystal. The darkness will no longer be a threat to this world," the goddess said.

"Thank you, goddess," I said, feeling grateful.

"Now, sun and moon, take the crystal and use it wisely. The fate of this world rests in your hands."

"I will do my best, goddess," I promised her.

I took the crystal, and I felt its warmth. It was a powerful object, capable of performing miracles. I put it in my pocket, and I headed towards the exit.

As I walked outside the temple, I saw that the sun was setting. The forest looked different than before, and the trees were greener than ever. I felt a sense of relief, and I knew that I had done the right thing.

"Thank you, goddess. Thank you for giving me this power," I said, looking up at the sky.

As I left the forest, I saw that the moon was rising above the horizon. The sky was clear, and the stars were shining brightly. I felt my heart filled with hope, and I knew that my journey was far from over. The darkness was still out there, and I had to find a way to defeat it.

"I will find a way," I whispered to myself, feeling more determined than ever.
