Chapter 70 CHAPTER 69

Chapter 70 CHAPTER 69
CHAPTER 69
YAEL
I woke up before my alarm, the room still dark except for the soft blue glow of my laptop screen on the desk. My assignment was due at noon today, and I had been working on it before Knox showed up looking like he’d gone ten rounds with a brick wall. I remembered saving the file and promising myself I would finish the last two pages first thing this morning.

I slipped out of bed carefully, trying not to wake him. Knox was sprawled on his back, one arm thrown over the pillow where I’d been, chest rising and falling slow and steady. The bruises on his face and ribs looked even worse in the dim light, but his face was soft and peaceful for once.

I sat at my desk and opened the laptop.

My mouth fell open.

The assignment was finished.

Completely finished.

The conclusion I had been struggling with was there, perfectly written. The graphs were labeled, the citations were formatted exactly right, and even the word count was spot on. I scrolled through it twice, blinking hard.

“What the…?” I whispered to myself. “When did he even stand up?”

I turned around slowly. Knox was still asleep, breathing deep and even. I had no memory of him moving at all.

I closed the laptop quietly and climbed back into bed. I slid under the covers and wrapped my arms around his waist, pressing my face into his warm chest. He smelled like my soap from last night’s shower and something that was just him.

Knox made a sleepy sound and pulled me closer. His arms wrapped all the way around me, nearly crushing me against him. He buried his face in my hair and let out a deep, happy sigh.

I smiled and pecked his lips softly. “Good morning, baby.”

His mouth moved against mine instantly, kissing me back slow and warm. My heart did a little flip.

I pulled back just enough to look at him. “You’re awake?”

His eyes cracked open, still heavy with sleep, but that lazy smirk I loved was already there. “Been awake since you got out of bed, princess.”

I laughed quietly and hugged him tighter. “You finished my assignment for me? Knox… when did you even do that? I thought you were sleeping the whole time.”

He shrugged, his hand sliding up and down my back under the hoodie I was wearing. “Couldn’t sleep after everything that happened. Saw your laptop open and figured you needed help. It wasn’t that bad once I got into it.”

I buried my face in his neck, squeezing him. “You didn’t have to do that. Thank you. Seriously. I was stressing about it so much.”

“Wanted to,” he murmured, voice still rough from sleep. “You’ve been carrying too much lately. Least I could do after showing up on your doorstep all messed up.”

I kissed his neck, then his jaw. “You’re too good to me, you know that?”

He chuckled low in his throat. “I can be even better if you want.”

His hand slipped under the hem of the hoodie, fingers tracing my ribs. I shivered.

“Knox…” I breathed.

He rolled us so he was on top, hovering over me with that dark, hungry look in his eyes. “Missed you,” he said, kissing me deep. His tongue slid against mine and the kiss turned hot fast. “Even when you were right here next to me.”

“I missed you too,” I whispered against his mouth. “Even when you’re all bruised and stubborn.”

He laughed softly and pushed the hoodie up and off me. “Let me make it up to you, princess.”

His mouth moved down my neck, sucking lightly on that spot that always made me weak. I tilted my head back with a small moan.

“Knox… that feels so good.”

“Shh, baby,” he whispered, smiling against my skin. He took one nipple into his mouth, sucking slow and deep while his fingers teased the other. I arched into him, gasping.

“Oh God…”

His free hand slid into my panties, fingers finding me already wet. He pushed two fingers inside me, moving them slow and perfect.

“You’re so wet for me already,” he murmured, voice low and rough. “Such a good girl. Feel that? Right there?”

I moaned louder. He moved his other hand up and gently covered my mouth.

“Quiet, princess,” he said, eyes dark. “Don’t want the whole dorm hearing how pretty you sound when I finger you.”

His fingers curled just right while his mouth stayed on my breast, sucking harder. I whimpered against his palm, hips rolling against his hand.

“That’s it, baby,” he whispered. “You’re squeezing my fingers so tight. You gonna cum for me like this? Come on, Yael. Let go.”

I came hard, crying out against his hand, thighs shaking around his wrist. He didn’t stop, dragging it out with slow, steady strokes until I was trembling and breathless.

“Good girl,” he praised, kissing me deep. “So fucking perfect.”

I was still catching my breath when he pinned both my wrists above my head with one hand. He pushed my legs apart and slid inside me in one slow, deep thrust.

We both groaned.

“Fuck, Yael,” he breathed against my neck.

He fucked me slowly, dragging every inch in and out, eyes locked on mine. “Look at me, baby. Want to watch you fall apart again.”

“Knox… please… harder,” I gasped.

He shook his head, still moving slow and deep. “Not yet. I want to feel every second of this. You’re mine, princess. Say it.”

“You feel how deep I am? This is where I belong.”

I was whimpering, close again already. “I’m gonna cum… Knox, I’m so close…”

“I know,” he said softly, grinding against me. “Cum for me again. Let me feel it. I’ve got you.”

The second orgasm hit me even harder. I saw stars, my whole body clenching around him as I cried out. Knox groaned my name and came right after me, burying himself deep, hips stuttering.

We stayed like that, breathing hard, foreheads pressed together.

“Morning,” he said with a lazy grin.

I laughed breathlessly. “Best morning ever.”

He kissed me once more before pulling out and helping me up. “Shower?”

We showered together. He kept laughing at how wobbly my legs were, teasing me the whole time.

“You’re evil,” I told him as he washed my hair.

We got dressed. He left first, kissing me long and slow at the door.

“Text me when you’re done with class, princess.”

“I will. Be safe today.”

He winked and slipped out.

I headed to class a few minutes later, still feeling floaty and happy. As I was about to enter the lecture hall, Maya appeared beside me out of nowhere.

She took one look at my neck and grinned wide.

“You might want to cover that hickey, babe. It’s huge.”

My hand flew to my neck. “Oh my God, Maya!”

She laughed. “Knox’s work, I assume? Girl, you’re glowing and walkin
g funny. ”

I groaned and pulled my scarf higher as we walked into class together. “You’re the worst.”

“You love me.”
