Tessy's POV

I remained frozen, and was clueless about what to do next, should I hug him? Kiss him here or act as if I don't give a damn about him?
Gosh, why does he have to appear so hot to see his sister? Is it because he knows I will be here today?
This is crazy,I don't know what to do right now. My heart won't stop beating for him, I hate myself now, damn it!!!!
"Brother!!!“ Eddy's mom screamed in excitement to see Anthony.
"My birthday queen,” Anthony said, hugging his sister,and carrying her up. I never knew he played this way.

"I was about to call you, you know, I thought you wouldn't be coming in today.” She said, touching his face.
"Even if we are cats and rats, I will never miss your birthday,” he added.

"Uncle you are here!” Eddy also joined the conversation and it felt like I was left out.
"Hey Eddy, how are you doing? You look good.” He said hugging Eddy and here I was witnessing a family reunion, I wonder what next?
"Perfect timing, dinner is ready as well, let's all go to the dining room and eat together.” Eddy's mom added and we all headed to the dining room with Eddy holding my hands.
I notice Anthony's eyes are filled with jealousy seeing Eddy close to me, or am I overthinking this? He said it himself he doesn't feel anything for me,and I was the one with the whole feeling so he shouldn't be jealous at all.
The dining table transformed into a culinary haven, filled with roasted chicken with herbs, grilled salmon with lemon butter, steamed vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, and a fresh fruit salad.
Eddy pulled out my chair, his eyes crinkling warmly. "My love, please."
"Thank you, babe!” I replied with a smile.
"Anything for you, my love.” He added and Anthony started coughing out as his sister passed him a cup of water to drink.
What's his deal?
His mother, Mrs. Wilson, smiled. "Eddy's always been thoughtful, dear."
As we sat, Eddy filled my glass with wine. "I know you will love this wine, try it dearly," he said with his brow raised in concern. I nodded, touched by his consideration.
"This is great, I love it.“ I said,and touched his face observing Anthony, he acted like I didn't exist when our eyes met.
We continued at the table. Anthony, however, seemed uncomfortable to me but his gaze darted between Eddy.
"So what do you think of Eddy's fiance? I heard you were her goddaughter.” Eddy's mom inquired, "They are just the perfect couple," he muttered, his voice low and strained.
Eddy beamed with pride. "Thanks, Uncle. We're happy." Mrs. Wilson patted Eddy's hand. "You've always had a big heart, son."
"You deserve to be happy Eddy, I wish you the best.” He replied but I know he doesn't mean any of that. Wow, so he really does care about me so why does he have to pretend like he feels nothing for me at all?
His expression suddenly turned inscrutable, his eyes clouding over.
As dinner progressed, Eddy's attentiveness toward me continued, making Anthony's discomfort grow. The evening wore on, filled with unspoken emotions, and tension simmering beneath the surface.
After dinner, I thanked Eddy's mother for treating me to dinner and she was so happy saying, "You don't need to thank me at all, we are family okay? Now I will have a little chat with my brother, you two have your moments.“
"Thank you once more, Mom,” I said to her.
Eddy took my hands and Anthony said, "Enjoy yourself.”
"Thank you, Uncle,” I said to him and it seems he hates the fact that I called him Uncle.
I left the dining room with Eddy as we walked to the garden together he said to me, "I hope you like it here?”
"Yes I do, so what's the plan for your mom's birthday?” I wanted to start a conversation with him because I don't know what to do at the moment since I am not really into Eddy very well.
"Well I have no idea, you know ladies love to plan a huge event but I know mom will tell you a lot about it." He added.
"Okay, I guess I need to return to my room now to get some rest.” I got on my feet, he stopped me saying, "Not so fast, come on we barely spend time with each other, and you know that very well.”
"I am sorry about that, you know you were busy with work,and I was busy with school stuff.”
"But we are here now, right? Why don't we take advantage of the moment.” He tried to get close, touching my face in the process.
"This is your mom's house, we shouldn't be doing this here right?“
"I just want to kiss you and secondly we are both adults, lastly you are my fiance so it's not a taboo if I try to kiss you here.” He explained, gosh what do I do now? Coming here is a bad idea, how on earth will I be able to escape from here? This is so annoying.
He caresses my face saying, "I still can't believe I am getting married to a beauty, when you are done with your IT, let's fix a day for our wedding.” He said rushing things with me.
"Yes, let's do that but right now I need to return to the room, I feel tired already.” I insisted but he came closer to me, he placed his lips on mine and kissed me.
"There you are!” I heard Anthony's voice and I got frightened a bit because I felt guilty like I was cheating on him. What the hell is wrong with me?
"Uncle, is something wrong?”
"Not at all, I was only looking for you to let you know I was leaving.“
"Leaving so soon Uncle? Is there a problem?“
"Not at all, I will be back tomorrow.”
"What changed? We had your room prepared as well, you normally sleepover.” Eddy said feeling concerned about Anthony leaving.
I knew he was leaving all because of me, he didn't wish to see me, and I hated him.
"I will leave you two so you can talk, I will be in my room now,” I said to them,and took my leave immediately.
I entered the room and locked the door behind me. I cried my eyes out because he left. I thought I would get the opportunity to be closer to him, gosh why is this happening now?
My mom called me as usual,and I knew the reason she was calling, I knew she wanted to know all the gist about my experience here with Eddy's family since it was my first time with them.
I answered the call sluggishly saying, "Mom, I am not ready to speak, I feel tired already.“
"Oh sorry sweetie, but tell me, how was it? I hope you enjoyed your first dinner with them?“
"Yes, I did.”
"Good, I know Anthony will be there but avoid him, your focus is your Fiance and his mom.”

"Fine Mom, I heard you, I need to sleep now because I will be having the morning shift at the hospital so I need to go.”
"Goodnight my little pumpkin!” She said before ending the call.
I feel so exhausted, what am I going to do now? I need to think of how to win Anthony over.
I suddenly slept off and had a wet dream about Anthony.

As usual, I woke up early in the morning, had my bath, and exited the room. Rachel announced to me that breakfast was ready so I walked to the dining room where Eddy and his mom were present.

I greeted them both and joined them for breakfast.
After breakfast, Eddy insisted he take me to the hospital himself,and I had no choice but to agree to his help.
He brought me to the hospital,and kissed my cheek in the process. I didn't know Elizabeth got a glimpse of it,and used it to disturb me all day.
"Elizabeth, can you please just stop? I just had to play along." I said to her,
"I know, but why are you explaining everything to me?”
"I hate you!”
"And I love you!” She added and we ended up laughing.
I briefed her about everything that took place and she told me to let go of my feelings but I refused. I knew I was going to win him very soon, just a matter of time.
I had to return to my duty and it was stressful this time around.
A few hours later, I was already present in Eddy's mom's Mansion, seems no one was present in the house so I rested on the couch where I fell asleep.
I was being chased by Dragon and Viper, they brought out sharp swords ready to kill me and my legs were weak, what do I do?
Out of the blue Viper came at me and I ended up screaming so loud thinking I was going to get slain by his sword but inside I woke up to reality in the arms of someone and that voice, "Babydoll, you're fine now!" Anthony's soothing voice calmed my racing heart but how is this possible? Did I switch to another dream?
I stared up at him, disoriented. How did I end up in his arms?
I notice his eyes, filled with concern, searching mine. "Another nightmare?"He asked but I just nodded, still shaken.
Anthony's grip tightened. "You're safe. I've got you."
For a moment, I forgot about everything. All that mattered was Anthony's protective embrace.
But reality intruded, and I pushed away.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, trying to hide my confusion.
Anthony's expression turned guarded. "I heard you scream. I had to ensure you were okay."
The tension between us thickened.
Why was he here? Did he come for me? He came closer like he planned to kiss me when we over
heard his sister's voice, damn it, this is bad, what if she sees us this way?
