"How the hell did you get me a wolfless woman, Hunter. For fuck's sake, how am I going to win with the weakest wolf beside me?'' I yell and almost hit the wall again but I stop myself.

This is fucked up.

"She has a wolf. Maybe she just hasn't shifted yet but I sensed her wolf as soon as I saw her"

"That's not enough, beta. Just make sure she shifts before the competition starts" I growl and throw the phone on the bed.

I had multiple choices but Hunter insisted I choose her.

No one can know about this. I wondered why her wounds took so long to heal. And why wasn't I notified that she was a rejected female?

I need to warn Lucinda and her friend to keep their mouths shut. If my enemies learns about this, they will kill her instantly.

Goddess! This is why I rely on myself most of the time. A wolfless woman!!!!

I follow Lucinda's scent to the balcony of one of the rooms, and it's her words that stop me from taking further steps.

"Men are so easy," Lucinda says, and her soft chuckle follows. " Goddess! It feels so powerful to have two hot men wrapped around my one little finger"

"Tell me about it," the other girl responds, and I lowly growl. "So, are you leaving your husband for Enzo? If you ask me, Enzo is hotter and richer"

"I know, but he wasn't always rich. When I met him, he didn't have much, so I chose Jake instead. Jake was loaded like shit. You know about old money, right?" 

Goddess! I despise that bitch.

"Yeah. Seb comes from old money too. Girl, what did you tell Enzo?. How do you convince them so easily?"

"Simple, I told Enzo my parents forced Jake on me. You know, for the sake of pack alliances. He still thinks I will divorce Jake and go back to him. Honestly, I don't know what to do. Jake spoils me like crazy. He literally worships me. Enzo is quite reserved and doesn't open up more. I think I will just enjoy playing the two until I figure something out."

"What if my sister beats you to it. That girl scares me. I had her beaten up and dumped at the Red Fangs pack so Seb would have no choice but to marry me. We thought she died, until I saw her here. Urgh! Goddess! Seb doesn't say it but nothing is the same since Bella left the pack"

"Is it true she doesn't have a wolf?"

"Of course not. I started that rumor and had everyone believe it. Everyone avoids her just like I wanted"

"Are you kidding me? If she has a wolf, then that means Enzo won't get rid of her."

"I used to secretly give her pills that suppress her wolf. I have done that for years and I am sure she won't shift soon. They will be eliminated before her wolf shows up. Trust me"

"Hopefully it happens that way. Enzo is different though. Furthermore, we have a bond, so I have no worries. Unless he rejects me, which I know he will never do. Didn't you see the look on his face when we exposed that rant? I don't think he will bring her back. He believes me. We are safe," Lucinda confidently says, and they start to laugh. 

Dumb bitches.

This woman is really delusional to think I am still waiting for her. What does she take me for? I am not the naive eighteen-year-old she dumped for a richer guy.

This is an insult. A woman thinking she has me wrapped around her finger.

What a joke!

I have always known she is with Alpha Jake for his money but I chose not to expose her. 

"Let's go shopping. We need to have all the attention to ourselves when the training begins," Lucinda says, and I turn around and walk back to my room.

Ask me why I don't bother with women. They are all fake and unworthy of my time. They always want something from you.

I find her on the bed sitting quietly and fidgeting with her fingers.

Her black curly hair is hiding her face but I can smell her tears.

"We are going back home," I say, picking up my car keys, and she looks up at me instantly.

"I am sorry," Bella murmurs, but doesn't make a move to get up. " I didn't know the training required..."

"I am going to train you and hopefully when the training begins you will have enough experience" I cut her off and her green eyes rapidly blinks at me.

She looks so vulnerable. So innocent, I feel guilty for dragging her into my messy life.

"Okay," Bella sniffles and quickly gets up. I hope she will shift before the three months in the wilderness end.

If she doesn't, I will be fucked for real.
