Author’s POV

Ajay put his hand on her shoulder when he saw her lost, turned her towards him smilingly and supported her "If you want this, then I am ready to support you in this because from what happened recently, I have understood one thing that life is unpredictable, we cannot even think when what will happen in future because it has its own ways which we can never understand. I promise you that whatever decision you take in life, I will always support you, not decide for you and will never hide anything from you, no matter what it is"

He said what he felt was right because now his outlook towards life had changed. He used to think that he was enough to keep his family happy, but his father's truth was a big blow to him that sometimes there came a time in life when we could support our loved ones, but the pain and suffering of their share couldn’t be taken from there, whatever was written in our fate, we will face it, so there was only one solution for this, that he should make his family to become strong so that they could face every problem that came their way.

“I am also with you Aashi, whatever you want from now on, we are with you” Mahi said sitting beside her to which Aashi smiled as both of them were with her.

"I love you both" she pulled them in sudden hug making laugh them at her.

"Me too" shouted Amisha and she too joined hug.

“Hugs like this feel great" Aashi murmured to which everyone squealed in agreement.

They broke the hug when they heard a knock on the door, they looked at the direction and saw a maid standing at the door who as soon as she saw them looking at her informed her reason to come here "Karan sir has come and he is waiting for Aashi mam in the car. He has said that he has some important work, so you should come soon.”

She left when mahi Aashi told her to inform Karan that she was coming in 5 minutes.

Hearing Karan's name, Aashi abruptly got up from the bed while Mahi's face lost her smile.

Aashi said looking at Amisha "Bhabhi (SIL) I am going now but if brother bothers you then tell me, I will come here next moment and see how he will trouble you"

Everyone smiled listening to her because this was her daily dialogue which she said to Amisha before leaving.

It was Aashi's routine after coming from Shimla that she came to Agarwal mansion daily for two hours to meet Ajay and to see how he was doing now. She wanted to live here with her brother but couldn’t because she had to take care of Savitri and Neeraj as well.

"Don't take tension, I know how to fix his loose screws." Amisha told her with a smug looking at Ajay who was glaring at her but she winked at him.

"Will you teach me some of your ways so that I can tighten the screws of my monster husband.” Aashi asked seriously to which she gave her a knowing smirk but before she could utter a word Ajay interrupted them.

"There is no need to teach your psychotic ways to her. You are my dear sister so I don't want you to become devil like her" Ajay said over sweetly as his wife's ways were not normal at all just like her.

"What did your say I am devil” Amisha shot deadly glare her husband who shrugged his shoulders and said innocently "What did I say wrong???"

“You bloody insane rotten potato, just wait for a second” Amisha shouted turning red in anger.

Mahi and Aashi laughed seeing them and they got busy in their fight.

“Oh God, I forgot that Karan bhai is waiting for me” she exclaimed face palming herself to which Mahi gulped down the lump form in her throat hearing his name.

Some things were very complicated even after being simple like her and Karan's relation.

"I'm going" shouted Aashi, catching the attention of the couple who were still fighting like children.

Aashi ran outside taking her phone while Mahi moved to the window from where she saw Karan standing outside the car looking at her direction as if he was waiting for her.

She felt her heart started beating crazily. She felt happy to see him.

They both stared at each other with overwhelmed emotions in their eyes, their eyes yearning for each other because this was the first time, they were seeing each other after Shimla.

Karan wanted to meet Mahi but Mahi was not ready for this, she needed time for this, so she told him that she needed time to think about them, which he agreed to give without saying anything. He neither called her nor tried to meet her but today he had to come because Vishant had to go for some important work and he had to come here to pick up Aashi for which he was happy that at least he will get a chance to see Mahi after two weeks.

"Bhai (bhai)" Aashi's chirpy voice broke his eye contact with Mahi and looked at her who was looking at him with a big smile.

He smiled at her and asked her to sit in the car as he couldn’t stay here anymore. The longer he stayed here, the more his desire to go to Mahi and to take her in his arms will increase, so he didn’t not want to stay here.

They settled in the car and Karan started the car glancing at Mahi for the last time which didn’t go unnoticed by Aashi's eyes. she sighed inaudibly seeing this couple.

She knew that something was going on between them but she didn’t know what but she wanted to know.

"Karan bhai can I ask you one thing??" she asked hesitantly because she didn’t want him to feel like she's poking her nose into his matter.
