Chapter 50: Her Stalker.

Daemon’s POV

I kept my distance, blending into the crowd as I watched her. Amaarae. She didn’t notice me—she never did. My mask disguised me as just another human, another face among many. This time, I had dressed as a mall employee, wearing a plain uniform that let me move unnoticed.

She wandered through the mall, her movements a little off, like she was distracted or in pain. Her body shook, small tremors ran through her, and her breathing was uneven. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her until I caught the faint buzzing sound and noticed the way her legs tensed.

My jaw tightened as I realized what was happening. She was struggling to walk, trying to keep her composure, but I could see the flush on her face, the way her hands clutched at her sides. Lucas. He must have done this to her, put that cursed device inside her.

She didn’t stay in the mall for long. She stepped outside into the streets, her head turning from side to side like she didn’t know where to go. I followed at a safe distance, keeping to the shadows.

Amaarae walked aimlessly, her breathing growing heavier with each step. She stumbled a few times, catching herself on walls and lampposts. It wasn’t long before her legs gave out. She crumpled to the ground, her body limp and trembling.

I was at her side in an instant.

Her eyes fluttered shut as I crouched down, scooping her into my arms. She was light, her body soft against mine, and I could feel the warmth of her skin through my clothes.

For a moment, I hesitated. I wanted to take her with me, to my place where she’d be safe. Where Lucas couldn’t hurt her. But I knew I couldn’t. Not yet. This wasn’t my time.

So I carried her through the streets, moving quickly and silently. Lucas’s house wasn’t far, and I arrived there within minutes.

I climbed up to her window, pushing it open and slipping inside without a sound. I laid her gently on the bed, making sure she was comfortable before stepping back.

She looked peaceful now, her face relaxed. But I knew this was temporary. Lucas was a monster, and this place wasn’t safe for her.

I clenched my fists, forcing myself to leave. As much as I wanted to stay, to protect her, I knew I couldn’t. She didn’t know me yet. She wasn’t ready.

I didn't leave, I stayed behind and acted as a temporary body guard, my fingers trailed over her lips and my lips planted wet kisses over her face, intoxicated by her scent and beauty.. I forgot, lost myself as I thrusted my tongue into her mouth and I bit her lips.

“ Ow.” She said softly, turning to the side with her back facing me. In an instant, I saw that as an opportunity.. I wanted to climb the bed and be with her immediately. I wanted to claim her as mine but I knew that wasn't possible.

Instead, I pulled out a soft sweet smelling handwritten letter and I placed it by her bedside.

“ See you soon, mate.” I dropped.

Amaarae's POV

I stand in front of the mirror, staring at my reflection. My skin glows faintly under the bathroom lights, and my breathing is slow and steady. Without hesitation, I pull off my clothes, letting each piece fall to the floor until I’m bare.

The air feels cool against my skin as I walk to the bathtub. The water is warm, the steam rising and curling in the air. I lower myself into it, the heat soothing my muscles and washing away the tension of the day.

For a moment, I just sit there, letting the warmth embrace me. But then my thoughts drift, as they always do, to him. Lucas.

I close my eyes, and before I realize it, my hand moves on its own. It slides down, beneath the water, and finds the place where my body aches the most. A soft sigh escapes my lips as I touch myself, my fingers moving in slow, deliberate circles.

My other hand rises to my chest, cupping my breast before my fingers find my nipple. I flick it gently, tugging and twisting, and the sensation sends shivers through me.

“Lucas,” I whisper, his name slipping from my mouth without me meaning to say it.

I picture his face, the way his eyes burn when he looks at me. The memory of his touch, his fangs at my neck, floods my mind, and my breath quickens.

“Lucas,” I moaned again, louder this time.

My hands move faster, my body trembling under my own touch. The tension builds, curling tight in my core, until it snaps. My back arches as a wave of pleasure crashes over me, and I cry out his name, my voice echoing off the bathroom walls.

For a few moments, I just lay there, my body jerking slightly as the aftershocks rolled through me. My hands fall limp by my sides, and I sink deeper into the water, letting it calm me.

When I finally feel steady again, I climb out of the tub, my movements slow and deliberate. Water drips from my skin as I grab a towel, patting myself dry. I don’t bother putting on clothes. I’m too tired, too drained to care.

I make my way to the bed, collapsing onto the soft sheets. The exhaustion from the day, from everything that’s happened, weighs heavy on me. I stretch lazily, feeling my muscles relax as I close my eyes.

Sleep comes quickly, pulling me into its embrace.

____

I stretch lazily on the bed as the soft glow of the sunlight reflects on my face, gnawing at the pain I felt in my pussy.. I felt sore from my fingers that had been digging and ramming into it.. all night long.

I couldn't help but smile from it, it looked more like it was him even though he puked from the thoughts of having me again.

I sighed.

I couldn't let such thoughts trouble me, I just looked out of the window lazily, still laying on my bed and rolling around like a dog, very soon.. my eyes caught the shiny paper and its amicable scent swifted into my nostrils.

“ Hmm. Yummy.” I thought, salivating and licking my lips as I picked them in expectation of who it could be.

I unknotted the complicated strings that bound it and I saw something at the last line and…it said..

…. Come see me.
