It was like a never-ending staring contest going on and Sia wasn't ready to back down because the man standing before her had wronged her in so many ways such that all she wanted was to rip him into shreds and feed him to the dogs but for now, she was going to keep calm and do things step by step
"I see what you are trying to do here"Emiliano said in a hushed voice that only the two of them could hear, his arm was still suspended against the wall trapping Sia completely
"Do you think I don't know how women like you go around trapping rich men like me just to have a comfortable life?"he remarked with a sarcastic smirk that had Sia clenching her fist tightly such that her slightly long nails were digging deep in her flesh but even though she was in pain she couldn't feel it due to the anger inside her
"Shut up"she whispered and closed her eyes for a while trying to keep calm, but Emiliano went on in saying more hurtful things
"Fake DNA results huh, I'm sure you came well-prepared that even if dad takes the tests to his trusted doctor, the results will prove that baby is mine"this time his tone was full of disdain and disgust such that Sia was on the verge of sending him flying to the nearest crocodile river, so he could be devoured mercilessly
"Women like you are so shameless that they would do anything to get what they want including getting into a man's bed to be fucked like a slut"he said making sure to emphasize on the last word such that Sia was seeing red and before Emiliano knew it
*slap*
Sia connected her hand against his right cheek giving him the most vicious heavy slap he could ever imagine that left him in a complete daze, shocked and dumbstruck at her action which he never expected anyone that ever lived other than his granny and mom would do and now the woman in front of him just slapped him
"If you utter one more foul word from your vile mouth I promise you, you won't get just a slap"Sia said the sentence word by word, her chest rising and falling from anger, she was angered beyond reason and in times like this she went for the kill
"YOU DARED!" Emiliano roared in anger as he slammed his fist against the wall such that blood splashed from his fingers, but he didn't have time to notice that, he has never been angered like he was nor had anybody ever dared to lay their filthy hands on him ever
"Next time choose your words wisely Mr. Emiliano Alvaro because this hand can do more than just slap"saying that she pushed him away unexpectedly as he stumbled back still holding his cheek where she had slapped him and walked away, Emiliano stood there as blood boiled to the point where all he wanted was to make sure that woman was severely punished for raising her filthy hand on him
"You will pay soon for this slap"he said and dropped his hand from his face, nobody had ever humilliated him like Sia had done a few moments ago and just then Nickolas walked to him with his head bowed
"Sir, the car is ready"Nickolas said nervously as he immediately dropped to pick up all the files lying on the floor and Emiliano didn't say anything, all he did was frown in disdain and walked away in anger
"Oh no"Nickolas finally breathed out and looked towards his boss's retreating form and held his heart area dramatically, he definitely came at the slap scene and upon witnessing that, he was certain that the lady was dead meat to be so bold as in to slap the most powerful man that ever existed because with just the snap of his fingers, Emiliano would make sure the lady was destroyed beyond imagination but oh well who would know that she could actually get away with murder without Emiliano reacting to it
"I should go"he took all the files and Emiliano's phone and headed towards the stairs
Meanwhile, Emiliano had just descended the stairs and was rushing out to the front door just as his mom came running to him
"Baby, want to have breakfast first"Carmen shouted with a smile, but Emiliano walked right past her and out the door is leaving Carmen confused as to why Emiliano just ignored her like air
"Did he just…"she tried to put two and two together and prepared to walk upstairs only to meet Nickolas half away rushing to go out as well
"Nick, what the hell happened to your boss"she asked curiously but Nickolas being Nickolas only shrugged
"No idea Mrs Alvaro, gotta go, or my head will be next"he said dramatically and walked to the door and again Carmen was completely left in a daze, her son looked so furious that he could punch through a whole which was unlike him because Emiliano was always jovial and only got upset when someone wrong him which meant someone said something to him which made him mad
"SIA"she said the name through gritted teeth, anger flashed in her eyes at the thought of that random woman making her son's life a living hell, she needs to talk to her mother-in-law so that they could get rid of the hurdle in their lives and that was SIA.
***
Sia had just gone back to her room and was busy playing with little Diego who was giggling and rolling about wearing a blue romper with cute little panda bear decorations on it,
"Don't worry sweetheart, I'll protect you"she said and nuzzled her nose to his cheek and Diego giggled even more making Sia feel emotional, her son was always happy, and she was going to keep it that way and would never let anyone harm him
"You are mine sweetie my baby"she whispered and kissed his chubby cheek and took her phone which was beside little Diego and answered the call
"Yes Rhea"Sia said as soon as she answered and Rhea sighed and went on to say what she called her for
"How are you Sia? did something happen? are you eating properly? should I bring anything for you tell me"she said in one breath and Sia facepalmed herself, Rhea was her personal bodyguard hired by her mom and dad to keep an eye on her but Sia just rolled her eyes at that and continued playing with little Diego who was now dozing
"Calm down baby, I'm not a kid any more okay I'm totally fine so don't worry"she knew Rhea was worried about her and was certainly not supporting her been at the Alvaro mansion, but she needed to do this
"Please Sia, its dangerous what if they hurt you huh my job is to make sure you are safe if... if I fail aunt will... she will"Rhea couldn't even finish the sentence when she imagined what Sia's mom would do to her if she failed to protect Sia which was the job assigned to her
"Mom won't say anything... hey can you send someone to bring a car for me"Sia ignored Rhea's words of worry
"Car? why?"
"I can't be hooked up in this boring mansion any longer, little Diego is literally begging me to take him to the park so send a car in 10 minutes"Sia explained dramatically and heard Rhea sigh but of course that wasn't her problem she already gave out her orders and Rhea had no choice than to obey
"Yes boss, right away"saying that Rhea disconnected the call and Sia smiled and went to the closet which was now hers to get changed and finally got out with Diego to get some fresh air.
