It was Monday morning and like always and against his will, Emiliano had to wake up early for his work and as the next in line to take over the Alvaro group of companies he had an obligation and a responsibility to carry out his work smoothly, although he did all by from.
Forgetting all about his awful weekend which felt like a nightmare, any minute he would wake up but the crying of a baby in the bedroom next to his proved that it was a living nightmare, his life was ruined all because of some woman he barely knew. Settling for a blue suit which fit his well-built body perfectly making him look like a billionaire handsome man he was and of course he was aware of how much his looks made many women go crazy over and desired to have him even if it was just for inw night, and he loved it very much but now that he had that woman around with a child, how was he going to live knowing full well if news of him having a child broke out, not only would he be ruined but his family's prestige would be dragged in the gutter just like that, however he wasn't going to let her, he was Emiliano Alvaro and nobody ever dared to mess with him
"She'll see soon"he whispered as he sat on the bed and started arranging some files which he needed for the meeting he was going to attend to first thing when he got to the office, just then they was a light knock at his bedroom door and without even bothering to find out who it was, Emiliano said
"Come in"he said, and the door pushed open, and his grandma walked in holding a tray of food and immediately after seeing his precious granny bothering with bringing him breakfast, Emiliano rose to his feet and rushed to her
"Come on beautiful, I told you not to do this, but you never listen"he said in a serious tone and took away the tray from her and set it on the table and made her sit on the sofa and with a smile, his grandma sat down gracefully so did he
"You're looking handsome my boy, except..."his granny complimented him but posed when she noticed his tie was not in a perfect shape
"Now that's more like it"she adjusted his tie properly and pinched his cheeks cutely and Emiliano chuckled and took her hand and kissed the back of it
"Thanks granny, you are wonderful"he said and flashed his most charming smile and lowered his gaze to their intertwined hands suspended in the air and a low sigh escaped his throat, he was a hundred percent sure his grandma came ask him about the strange woman who came out of nowhere and accused him if such a thing
"Granny that woman... I"he started, not sure where to begin from, to be honest, he had been up all night trying to recall any event which led him to sleeping with the woman in question however he did not remember ever sleeping with her, the only thing he recalled was just having a conversation with other than that he had no idea
"Tell me the truth, have you ever seen that girl before"she asked in a soft low tone and Emiliano without hesitation shook his head in denial and his granny nodded
"Granny, I'm convinced that woman wants to ruin our family"he tries to give her the most possible way to open his granny's eyes because he could see right through her that she had a soft spot for the girl all because his granny was an advocate for women and led a woman organization that supported human rights which meant the helpless lady with the baby would be in a category which required action to be taken immediately
"Go to the office, I'll handle this matter and don't do anything stupid got that"she emphasized the last words knowing full well her grandson wasn't so innocent at all he was a playboy and women was his weakness, and hence she wouldn't be surprised if he made a mistake which brought that girl to their house
"Okay beautiful and don't worry I'll have breakfast at the office or Vince won't have it nice if I go late"he said in a happy tone and kissed her cheek, took the files piled up and stormed out of his bedroom, his grandma remained seated and sighed deeply, she wished that the baby turned out to be Emiliano's because for years she had been yearning to have a great-grandson, maybe the heavens answered her pray in this way.
Emiliano been ignorant of his grandma's thoughts and wishes walked out of the room and headed towards the stairs while looking at a bunch of messages he had missed and smiled like a fool
("Hey bad boy wanna have a hot weekend, I'm available")he read a message and scrolled down and found all sort of flirty messages from various women who were ready to throw themselves at him and without looking where he was going, he collided with someone and the files and phone in his hands fell and scattered around
"Ahh! sorry"he heard a small soft voice and with an angry face, he looked up only to see the person giving him sleepless nights, Sia on the other hand had a cold expression plastered on her face as she looked at her enemy with so much disdain in her eyes, she expected her morning to be good but what was she thinking because she was living in the same house as the devil who ruined her life
"Pick up my files this minute!"Emiliano ordered through gritted teeth as his eyes shot pure venom of hatred that anyone who saw him would flinch in fear but SIA wasn't any other woman as she stood her ground and shot daggers at him, standing apart from each other Sia was much shorter than Emiliano who towered over her in an intimidating way
"Do I look like your house help to do your dirty work"Sia remarked with a smirk and upon hearing her sarcastic words, Emiliano's fist clenched automatically as his jaw clenched from the anger boiling inside him such that all he wanted was to rip her apart
"You clearly don't know who you are messing with baby girl, pick the damn files from the floor!"he made a low powerful yell and let out a sarcastic snort and took a step towards her, Sia fixed her gaze on him as she took a step back not because she was afraid of him, but she wanted to avoid being anywhere near him
"And you don't know what I'm capable of doing Mr. Emiliano Alvaro"she replied in a stern voice as she continued to take steps back and Emiliano kept advancing until she was trapped between his towering form and the cold wall, Sia blinked several times as she tried to flee from there, but Emiliano extended his arm and slammed his fist right against the wall near her head and smirked evilly, his expression predatory like a wounded lion ready to attack however Sia wasn't the one to fear men as she locked eyes with him and both coldly fought with their eyes for dominance.
