"What?" Sia couldn't believe what she had just heard from the person who just walked in her supposedly room and started uttering nonsense
"You heard me right lady, you better take your child and look for his father and stop accusing my friend"Angelo finally regained some momentum to say something because he nearly embarrassed himself when he was about to drop over the same woman who was out to destroy Emiliano, but he had to admit she wasn't so bad, forget bad she was a ten out of ten
"Did he send you here? If he wants drama, then tell him to continue sending his minions to get him out of this because I assure this won't end well for him"Sia took small steps towards the man, her gaze predatory as she coldly glared at Angelo, Angelo took a step back and for the first time Angelo was lost on what to say, he was used to enticing women with his charming looks and jovial personality but the lady standing before him was something else, he just wondered where his dumb best friend met her from and why on earth did Emiliano have anything with her because clearly she was so confident about the child being Emiliano's
"D... don't be ridiculous... I'm... I'm not even important here... well, I'm just their driver that's all"Angelo stammered the words out and smiled foolishly making Sia wonder how someone would just switch personalities just like that
"Leave"Sia said in a serious tone and walked back to the bed and picked little Diego up and carefully carried him in her arms, this was what made her happy her child was a good boy and never cried much
"C…can I take a look at him?" Angelo asked in a doubting tone and walked to Sia and tried to get the child but the glare that she gave him was enough to send him flying so just to be on the safer side, he stepped back nervously and chuckled trying to lighten up the awkward mood, it was clear the lady was not so easy to deal with and Emiliano was so going to have one hell if a hard time to get rid of her
"I'll leave"he finally said and prepared to walk away but stopped in his tracks and looked back at Sia who was no smiling at the baby and asked
"By the way, have we met before? you look quite familiar"he asked and with a frown Sia looked at him and smiled sarcastically
"Yes, we met don't you remember or rather you have seen me somewhere, on TV"she said nonchalantly and with wide eyes Angelo walked to her in two strides and beamed leaning his arm against her shoulder and said
"Baby, let's run away together this child is mine, forget Emiliano"he remarked with a seductive wink and clicked his tongue playfully, Sia slowly tilted her head to look at him and his arm which was now draped over her shoulder like they knew each other well, and she replied with a seductive smile
"Yes baby we will run away that's for sure but…"she posed and looked at him then continued "I want you to kill someone for me, to prove your loyalty to our baby"immediately she said that Angelo choked on his saliva perplexed as to how the conversation got to him killing anyone and with a disdain look Sia shrugged him off her shoulders, having been lost in thoughts Angelo fell flat to the floor totally surprised
"Huh?.. you... are you crazy?"he rose to his feet as fast as he could and without wasting time he rushed to the door and stormed out, Sia was dying with laughter as she watched the door close, shaking her head lightly she turned towards the bed but the again the door opened getting her attention and Angelo's head popped in nd he said
"I'm Angelo by the way"and with that he was gone
"Such an idiot"she muttered and carefully laid Diego on the bed and grabbed her phone nervously, all this time she was putting up a brave front she was dying inside, chanting all the mantras she knew hoping the jerk didn't recognize her
"Come in stupid pick up"she paced around the room as she held the phine to her ear with her right hand while her left hand fiddled with the locs of her hair praying Mario had his phone near or so help her she was going to skin the idiot alive
"Come on idio.."she started but just then Mario answered
"Yes princess, missed me so soon?"
"Call me princess one more time and you are dead Mario, tell me why was that good for nothing lawyer here huh?"she said straight and heard Mario yawn lazily which made her even more irritated than she was, he was lucky she was far away or so help her he would have been six feet under by just one glare
"For starters no more threats and lastly that god damned lawyer is my brother so please respect him"he remarked with so much pride and by the way he said it, sia was sure he was sitting like a damn prince with his eyes glued at his laptop
"To hell with you and your brother, just tell me what he is doing here?"she sat in the couch and again got to her feet and anxiously paced around, this was dangerous if angelo recognized him and went ahead and told the Alvaro family members then she would be doomed, forget Angelo telling emiliano, the damn lawyer would go straight to her parents which was what she was trying to avoid at all cost
"Calm down, if he's gone then he didn't know its you, as it is he of all people doesn't know the Navarro's youngest daughter"Mario reasoned with her and Sia finally calmed her nerves and sat near the window and stared out, her family didn't know about this and her child and she told the Alvaros that she had no family whatsoever
"Good good, for now I'll keep a distance from him but I don't think the idiot will leave me alone"she was certain Angelo would try to flirt with her again, she wondered if emiliano and Angelo were cut from the same cardboard because both of them were flirty fools who trapped women with their charming smiles, sweet words and a body that was hotter than a volcano
"Just like all men Sia, my brother is who he is"Mario chuckled picturing how his elder brother has gone fully illiterate upon seeing Sia, it was his weakness whenever he saw a pretty woman he lost it
"Okay gotta go and look after Rhea"saying that she disconnected the call and sighed lightly, she looked at little Diego who was now sleeping and smiled, she was sure the old lady was getting a DNA test because back in her office she challenged her saying if she wasn't afraid about Diego not being Emiliano's child then she would agree to the DNA test and yes she agreed just to shut them up and tomorrow morning the results would be out so she was gonna have a good night and wait for their doom especially Emiliano who she has not spoken to since she ruined his wedding and she was certain he was planning something against her.
