If Sia thought her day would be full of laughter mainly targeted at Emiliano well she would have been thrilled, but that wasn't the case, she was certain that Emiliano was having it worse than her because his mom and grandma were doing everything in their power to get them closer not just that, but his cunning mom Carmen sent her and Emiliano together with little Diego to grab vegetables just within the mall supermarket giving a lame excuse that Emiliano's granny was tired, and hence she needed to rest for a while, Sia told her she would look after her, but Carmen refused again giving excuses which made no sense, and now she was stuck with grumpy Emiliano who was for some reason walking too fast for her to keep up since she was carrying Diego in her arms while was covered with a cute blue baby blanket
"Will you please slow down"Sia stopped walking and shouted after Emiliano who as lo stopped immediately and looked back at her with an expression which screamed murder
"What do you want from me? First you came into my life and ruined it, and now I'm stuck here with you doing some stupid shopping when I should be having a good time"he said with so much anger, Sia could see how his chest was rising and falling steadily knowing full well he was at the verge of losing control, but she didn't care as she shot him with the same cold tone he used.
"You ruined my life, and you expect me to sit still and watch you... have fun?"her voice was cold as she gripped Diego tightly in her arms and took several steps towards Emiliano as usual he was towering over her like a giant scary monster except the monster in front of her was a handsome devil
"Again with this nonsense, tell me, did you happen to fu…"he scooped close to her and whispered but stopped when he was about to use a foul word however he remembered the last time he used such words something terrible happened, and it involved a tight slap, 'not a chance' Emiliano thought
"Talk huh, cat cut your tongue"Sia said with a smirk as she looked at Emiliano who lost words to say but Emiliano being the one to be in control he regained his composure and continued
"How much do you want? Say the amount and disappear from my life"He decided to offer her something that she couldn't refuse even if she wanted to, clearly she wasn't a saint who would refuse millions of dollars offered on a silver platter
"Swallow your money because I don't want it, let me warn you Emiliano, I'm not one of those pathetic women you sleep with and offer them money, I'm far more priceless than you might think"she shot him a death glare that drilled holes such that even Emiliano was aware of how much angry she was but whatever it was she was in the wrong to accuse him of having a baby with him
"Tell me one thing"he murmured and moved a little because they were standing in the path where various people were walking around getting their vegetables and other things, currently they were in the fruits section "How did it happen?"he asked and waited for Sia to speak but Sia looked away from him as she blinded several times trying to collect her strength
"See you clearly don't even know how it happened, do you take me for a fool, you should look for this baby's father because as I see it... you must have slept with multiple men and…"before he could even finish his sentence, Sia raised her free hand in preparation to slapping him across the face, but Emiliano acted fast and caught it midair
"You should think twice before you do something baby girl"his face had turned completely emotionless such that Sia could see and sense the danger she was in because Emiliano looked like he had utterly lost his reason and control
"Let me go!"she said through gritted teeth and shrugged his hand away just as two not, so elderly women walked by and blushed
"Wow such a cute couple"Sia heard one of them say, and the other lady commented as well
"Their couple fight is cute, I remember my old days when I got married, I used to fight with my husband all the time even on little things"this time Emiliano frowned as he ran his hand helplessly in his air hoping they would go away, but it seemed they were planning to stay getting fruits more than they intended too
"I must say they make a good couple, just look at the young man, He's so handsome and the girl is beautiful and of course I'm sure the little one is even prettier"the two women continued saying all sort of nice things that never existed between her and Emiliano, Sia peeked at Emiliano who looked as if he was in the verge of killing someone but to prevent that he simply walked away leaving Sia all helpless.
"Go on, follow your husband and apologize,"a woman with a scarf around her neck said to Sia and the other one nodded with a smile. Sia sighed inwardly and left from there. She had enough already, and the two women weren't helping with their false theories.
After shopping for whatever the women wanted, Carmen decided they go for dinner lunch since Sia seemed tired from all the walking, Emiliano had begged his grandma if he could go but as usual his grandma and mom were hell-bent in making his life miserable, he had to meet Angelo and Watson, but he was tied up to entertaining an absurd woman with a temperament he couldn't seem to get not just that but the constant trouble his grandma was putting him through by telling him to hold the baby every now and then, at some point during their meal which they decided to have at one of the five-star restaurants by the seaside, he was asked to feed the baby, it took all his will power to do that and when he fed the child yogurt his mom was busy complimenting him about how great of a dad he would be to little Diego. Of course Sia was not happy still, she didn't even want Emiliano to look at Diego, but his mom was going all out with trying to put them in one box
"Wow I had so much fun, we should do this sometime"Carmen said as they got out of the car while she held a sleeping Diego carefully in her arms, Emiliano didn't utter a word all he did was storm out of the car and tossed the keys to Nickolas together with other seven to ten men in black suits lined up right before the entrance, 'such lousy display of money' Sia scoffed in her heart
"I know, Sia sweetie I'm sure you are tired but don't worry tomorrow we'll take a break"Sia heard the granny say, she nodded and dragged her tired feet inside followed by Emiliano who looked like he had been abandoned in the desert for years and this was when he was found, he looked like hell. She wondered how two women like Carmen and granny would have so much energy to shop like teenagers, brushing the thoughts away the front doors were opened by the servants of course Lulu who had a gloomy face not her usual demeanor however Sia was too tired to pry further
"M…madam something happened"lulu said to Carmen and the old lady who frowned and walked further in heading to the living room, but just then unfamiliar man rushed to them like a mad man
"Oh, thank god, I found you and my child... my poor child"the man said and went to take Diego but Carmen who was surprised at his outbursts moved away and looked towards grandma who also was shocked and they all looked at Sia who had no idea what was happening
"This is my child, she ran away with him"the black haired man said pointing at Sia.
