Chapter 25

CASEY opened her eyes when she felt something warm is caressing her arm down to her hips as if tracing every curve of her body. Her brows quickly furrowed after realizing that it’s a man’s hand touching her. She turned to her back and met Alexander’s sleepy gaze.

“Good morning, honey…” He snuggled closer to kiss her forehead. “Did you have a goodnight’s sleep?”

Casey looked at him questioningly. “D-Did we make love?”

Alexander laughed. “Did we?” He wrapped his arms around her and buried his face on her head. “I just watched you sleep last night.”

Casey wasn’t able to reply. The sound of Alexander’s laugh is so sexy that it made her heart fluttered. His deep sexy voice is penetrating her core up to the bottom of her heart. “Alexander…” she murmured and looked up to him. “I just want to say that…” She hesitated. Should I tell him my feelings? Am I even allowed to entertain this emotion? She asked herself as her chest started to tighten in so much guilt and pain.

“What is it, Amara?” The man asked as he looked into her eyes. “What do you want to say to me?”

She looked into his eyes, but she still can’t find the courage to say what she truly feels. “I just want you to know that I am thankful that I met you…” Tears trickled down her cheeks. “You’re the kindest person that I’ve met in my whole life.”

Alexander smiled. He reached to touch her face. “Don’t cry…” he whispered. “Don’t cry, Amara.” His hand ran down her body and touched her in the places that yearned for him. “I’m thankful that you’re back.”

Casey closed her eyes and let herself feel his touch. The warmth of his hand is giving her solace and an unexplainable sensation that calmed her thoughts. If she could, she’ll stay with him forever as his wife. But, she couldn’t… She was here for a cause. And that is to save his life and his daughter.

Alexander positioned himself on top of her and kissed her lips passionately. His hand was all over her, and Casey felt as if she’s going crazy with his touch. “Alexander…” she moaned and arched her back as he started to plant kisses down to her belly. She almost screamed when his mouth reached her core. “Oh, Alexander…”

He buried his face between her legs and savored her wetness. His tongue glided in and out of her entrance until Casey couldn’t control it anymore. As he sucked her clit, Casey burst her juices into his mouth.

“Oh!” Casey clutched on Alexander’s arm when he thrust his thick cock onto her entrance. “Oh, fuck—”

“Yes, fuck this…” Alexander captured her lips and shoved deeper. The thickness of his cock is gliding hungrily on her tight walls. “You’re so tight, Amara…” he whispered. “Everything about you felt new to me…”

Casey tried to ditch the thought that is starting to cloud her mind. Everything about her is different because she’s not Amara. She’s not his wife… She whimpered when he banged harder on her. The thickness of his length is filling every space of her. It felt perfectly fit as if he was made for her… Everything between them feels so right, but she knew that it’s wrong.

“Come with me, Amara…” His thrusts became faster and more demanding. “Fuck, come with me, Amara—”

Casey shut her eyes as they climaxed together. He collapsed on her top, and she hugged him tightly. “Alexander…”

Alexander kissed her neck. “I love you, Amara…”

Amara? Casey closed her eyes. It hurts her to hear him calling in a different name. It hurts her to listen to him saying another name as they reached their climax. It pained her to know that he was looking lovingly but thinking of her as another woman and not who she really was. Casey hugged him tightly as tears streamed down her cheeks.

“I am not Amara…” she murmured near his ear.

Alexander pulled away from her. His brows were furrowed in confusion. “What did you say?” he looked into her eyes, then after a second, he smiled. “You’re no longer the bad Amara. I know, you’ve changed now—”

“No,” Casey cut off. “I am not Amara. I am not your wife, Alexander.”

Alexander sat up on the bed and looked at her. “What do you mean?” he asked with furrowed brows. “What do you mean, Amara?”

Casey looked away. “I am not the woman that you think I was, Alexander…” She picked up her clothes. “I’m not your wife. I’m sorry…”

Before Alexander could speak, Casey got off the bed and went to her room. She quickly checked her phone if all her emails were sent then looked for the reset option, but she stopped when her photo with Alexander flashed on the screen. Tears fell on her cheeks again… Why she’s hurting so much? Why there’s a part of her heart that is preventing her from leaving?

She clicked the reset button after removing the microSD card. She threw the phone on the bed and started changing her clothes. But the door from the adjoining room opened, and Alexander stepped inside her room. Casey quickly put on her clothes.

“Amara…” Alexander walked towards her. He didn’t even bother to get dressed. His nakedness and golden skin are shining against the morning sunlight. “Tell me that you’re just confused… That you didn’t know what you said—”

“Alexander, I am not Amara,” she said in a stern voice. “I am not your wife. You got the wrong person in the accident. You just have mistaken me as her, but I am not Amara.”

Alexander grabbed her arm. “Then, who are you?” his grip tightened. “Are you one of Esperanza’s whore?”

The pain and anger that Casey saw in his eyes hurt her even more. “I’m not either… But you have to let me go, Alexander… I have to do something—”

“To do what?!” He threw her on the bed. “You are not Amara? You fooled my daughter and me!”

Casey went on her knees and bowed in front of him. “Alexander, I’m sorry—”

“You’re one of that evil woman’s sluts, like Amara…” Tears shone in the corner of his eyes. “You made me believe that you’re my wife and that you’ve changed… And, I’m a fool to believe a fraud like you!”

Casey clung to Alexander’s knees. “I’m sorry, Alexander… I don’t know anything about your step-mom, but please believe me that I am just doing this to save you and Billie—”

“Damn you and your excuses!” he cut off furiously and swept her away. “You all wanted me dead, so you’ll take over on my dad’s winery. You, Esperanza, and David.”

“I don’t know them!” she countered. “Believe me, please…” she begged for him, but the man didn’t listen. “Alexander…”

“Get out,” he said, clenching his jaw. “Get out before I put you in jail!”
