The following morning the kids came running to Mel and Ethan’s bedroom.

Mommy and daddy we see the ocean. Come and have a look Cindy says.

Mike was just as excited and ran to see where his grandpa is.

Grandpa did you see the ocean? Mike ask and ran to the window.

Everybody was up and got ready to spend the day outside the house.

So Ethan when do you plan on working on your resort? Dave ask.

I would like to start it as soon as the ladies are done with the shopping centre he says.

I know a couple of business men that will also be interested in designing their own homes with the help of people like them that knows what to do.

That sounds really good, I think at some stage I would also like to build a house for myself and my wife Dave says.

But daddy you can stay in my house I won’t be staying there forever Al says. I’m also sure that Mel is not going to stay there forever either.

That’s true mom and dad I’m really to stay there but at some point I will need to move out with the kids Mel says.

I will either get a smaller place or something Al says.

Or you come and stay with me Dylan suggests.

And you and the kids will move in with me my love Ethan suggest to Mel.

Don’t worry we will work everything out mom and dad but I think there’s no need for you to get a place Al says.

Why does it seem like our daughters are settling down with their guys? Liz says to Dave who was sitting next to her.

Yes it really sounds like it my wife and we will have more grandkids to adore Dave says.

I would love to settle down with your daughter Mr Dave and Mrs Liz but I thought that if I come with such requests you would think that I’m crazy see that we don’t date for long Dylan says.

Dylan if you are in love with my daughter and she feels the same we not going to stand in your way Dave says looking at his wife that shook her head. We would want you guys to be happy because we all are getting a second chance in life so we need to make the best of it.

Mom so you will never stand in my way when it comes to marriage? Al ask.

No darling I know what real love is now and I want the same for you. I was totally out of line to try and decide or plant negative things in your mind about marriage and for that I’m sorry Liz says and hugged her daughter.

Maybe we will have a double wedding Ethan says and everyone was laughing.

The kids were playing in the water and building sand castles while the adults just enjoyed the peace and quiet. They knew that they won’t be able to stay at the resort for too long then they had to make their way back home. The ladies didn’t really mind because they had their own adventure that awaits and their partners was their main support.

Two days after their arrival they had to leave again but they enjoyed the late night parties on the beach and the water games that was on offer at the resort. Mel knew that Ethan was the man for her and he felt the same.

Love I think we need to start your training again Ethan suggested. I don’t ever want you to be a prisoner and have to sit in the house because of that maniac.

We can start in the morning love. I don’t want to be scared when I want to meet clients or just take the kids to the park.

That’s right baby you should never feel that you can’t be alone out there because of him.

That night Mel slept at home and Ethan will meet up with her in the morning. Dylan went to his house very happy because he and Al spoke and she is in love with him and want to spend the rest of her life with him too.

The following day Ethan got there and Mel was already busy warning up.

Good morning Beautiful Ethan says and Mel ran up to him.

Good morning my baby Mel says and kissed him softly.

You in a very good mood today my angel Ethan says.

I have the best boyfriend ever Mel says with a smile on her face.

Really? Ethan jokingly ask.

Now you have my attention Ethan says.

I was thinking last night baby; I will have the best opportunity that any person could have with this new business venture. I am both excited and extremely happy to move on with my life. Baby I’m sorry that I’ve been holding back for all this time. I really didn’t mean to. It’s just I also don’t want to get hurt again. I held back because I thought maybe it was too quick to jump into it again. But I soon realised that you are the one for me and I do love you so why not dive into it and swim with the tide she says with a big smile.

Wow baby you blew me away with those words. Thank you my love. I do know that things really happened very quick between us but the heart wants what it wants, and at this current stage it’s you.

Ethan took her in his arms and kissed her softly and broke the kiss when they heard a voice behind them.

Is this how you train my daughter Ethan? Dave ask with a straight face but then smiled at them.

Good morning sir Ethan says and broke the hug with Mel.

Morning daddy Mel says with a smile.

It’s good to see you so happy my child Dave says looking at Mel.

I am daddy. From today I will not hold back on life. I learned so much from you when you speak to us about life. there is no other way but to move forward.

That’s right but I need to see if you can fight before you go outside and start walking alone in the street.

Mel smiled and looked at Ethan.

They started the routine and Mel didn’t hold back at all. Ethan got to push her a bit but she fought hard to cover every punch and kick that came her way. They stopped after a while and Dave was totally amazed by how strong Mel become.

Wow that was absolutely amazing my girl Dave say. You are ready to protect yourself out there and it really gives me the peace of mind.

Thank you dad yes I am. I would like to take the kids to the park and I want to be free out there.

You still need to be very careful sweetheart; you cannot trust anyone Ethan says.

Mel agreed and got ready to go and view the place Ethan made available for them to do business from.
