Chapter 63 Marcus Arrival

Chapter 63 Marcus Arrival
Marcus Pov
I walked down the stairs of the private plane, then immediately hopped into the car waiting with its door open.
I sat in the back seat with Amanda beside me, and in the front was Lexus, who sat beside the Beta driver.
My face remained expressionless even as the car sped up. No one dared to speak or look at me, and the car maintained its coldness as it rushed towards the college where Elena schooled.
To be honest, I hadn’t expected the call, and I never knew my number was the one registered as her guardian.
My eyes narrowed as I thought of what could have happened.
But no matter what the problem was, it had better not involve Elena getting hurt.
Soon, the car stopped in front of the huge building. I looked out of the window, and my jaw immediately tightened when I saw the crowd wandering around.
The car fell silent. My finger began to tap on the car seat as I watched the bustle outside. Suddenly, my tapping grew faster, my jaw tightened. Just listening to the noise outside was enough to make my head ache.
The urge to order them to drive off filled me, but at the thought of the teacher’s words, I snapped my eyes shut.
So troublesome.
Just as I spoke, I pushed open the door and stepped down from the car, my cold and powerful aura immediately sweeping through the whole place.
Behind me, Lexus and Amanda, who seemed confused but still quiet, stood behind me.
I stood in front of the car, my dark, cold eyes sweeping the environment and also the students who had paused immediately they set their eyes on me.
The whispers around us died one after another until only silence remained.
I frowned, a little irritated, but soon, I returned my gaze to the front, swept my long robe, then began to walk towards the college entrance with an aura that screamed, “Don’t come close.”
After walking for minutes, we finally stopped in front of an office building. Leading the way was the Dean of the college, who had been alarmed by my arrival and had rushed to lead the way to the office.
He bowed and stretched his hand towards the office in front. His smile loud and butt-licking.
“Ah… Here we are, Alpha Marcus.” He grinned as he walked towards the slightly opened door. “You don’t need to worry about your child, it must be something little.”
I remained cold as I followed behind him. Every one of his nonsense talks escaped my mind, and my attention was on the door.
But suddenly, just as the Dean was about to push the door open, a loud, shrewd voice interrupted.
“Why do I have to stay here and be punished with this shameless omega?! Clearly, she had done wrong first?! Did you see how crazy she was?! Darn it—look at my face!”
My legs paused immediately I heard the loud curses. A frown subconsciously appeared on my face, and I turned to give Lexus a glance.
Lexus understood immediately. He nodded at me, and in one movement, he grabbed the hand of the Dean, who was about to open the door and alert the people inside.
The Dean was stunned. His face turned pale, and he swallowed immediately. He looked at Lexus, then slowly turned to me, his lips trembling.
“A-alpha—”
I didn’t let him finish his words. My sharp eyes glared at him, which made him step back as he bowed lowly.
Just then, I heard another voice coming from the office.
“Lilith, you’re the shameless one! Elena never bothered you, and if you hadn’t thrown her things on the ground, she wouldn’t have fought you!”
At the mention of the familiar name, my lips pursed into a cold line. My fist, which was in my pocket, clenched, and my eyes glared coldly at the door.
She was bullied?
The hand inside my pocket slowly tightened until the fabric wrinkled beneath my fingers.
“So what?! She should have listened to me when I asked her to take another bed! But that omega bitch is just so stubborn!”
My brain buzzed from the insult again. The air around me turned even darker, and even Amanda, who stood behind me, shifted back.
But I couldn’t care less. All I could hear were the curses being thrown at Elena.
A bitch?
My lips curled, and just as I was about to order Lexus to push the door open, the same aggressive voice echoed again, her voice arrogant and filled with sneers.
“Well… I don’t care, and just know I won’t be punished.” She sneered. “Like I told you, I can send you out of this college. Do you know who my uncle is?!”
“Student Lilith, behave yourself!”
I frowned.
The voice didn’t stop at the warning. Instead, she became even prouder.
“My uncle is the Dean of this college! Let’s wait and see who will get punished!”
Just like that, all eyes turned to the Dean hiding in the corner.
I looked at him. A strange smile settled on my face, but when he met my eyes, sweat appeared on his forehead, and he kept shaking his head.
“A-alpha. No. No. D-don’t listen to her. I didn’t—”
My lips twitched, but my eyes that stared into his were so indifferent.
“Her uncle?” I muttered, low and dangerous. “Oh.”
The Dean’s eyes widened even more. His body shook as he fell to his knees. His forehead nearly touched the floor, yet he still trembled as if that wasn’t enough to save him.
I let out a chuckle. Then, without looking at him again, I pointed my chin at Lexus, who immediately walked to open the door.
My legs moved to follow, my robe flowing behind me. Though I didn’t walk fast, the weight of my steps on the floor showed how awful my mood was.
The arguments kept coming one after another, yet the voice I was waiting to hear never came. She didn’t even fight for herself.
Just then—
Bang!
The loud sound echoed so loudly that it stunned everyone, including the people inside. The voices went silent, Even the air seemed to freeze as no one dared to make another sound. Alll eyes turned to focus on the entrance.
Like I hadn’t felt a thing, I stayed at the entrance, my hands in my pockets as I looked at the people standing inside in shock.
This time, I was able to see the people clearly.
Everywhere went silent.
My cold eyes moved from the Beta teacher, who looked shaken as she stared straight at the entrance, then to the little omega whose knees had gone weak while trembling.
But when I stopped at the shocked beta girl with injuries all over her face, the temperature around me dropped even more. With an intense energy in my eyes, I glared into her eyes.
She froze, her lips parted, but she couldn’t speak. It was like she had gone brain-dead.
Sneers flashed in my eyes, then I moved and stopped at another beta girl who kept pulling someone. Her lips kept mumbling something, and her eyes… they shone with recognition.
“Elena. Elena. Oh my—isn’t t-this the god who came to take you away from the club?!”
Realization flashed in my eyes, but soon, I shifted my gaze and stopped at the person I had been looking for.
Elena.
My eyes darkened immediately I saw her. A fire burned inside me, threatening to burn everything down.
My breath came out urgently, and everything seemed to freeze, including Elena.
My eyes roamed her body.
Every bruise I found made the darkness in my eyes deepen.
She stood there, her clothes torn, bruises on her cheeks and lips, her hair scattered, her bloodshot eyes staring at me with shock as if she couldn’t believe I was here.
But I didn’t have time to wait for her to believe it. I could only see the bruises on her body.
My fingers tightened into fists. My pheromone energy threatened to spread from the rage I felt, but I gritted my teeth and held back. The ground beneath my feet cracked softly under the force I was trying to suppress.
“Who did this?”
