Chapter 27 The Tension: A Little Pervert

“BANG!”
That was how my mind exploded when I realised I had spat out a lot of nonsense.
“Fuck! Stupid! Stupid! What have you done this time?! Ahhhh!!!”
I cried out in my heart, and my eyes snapped open as panic filled them. My eyes met those of Marcus, and all I could whisper was, “I’m so dead… dead!”
Marcus's eyes were cold and sharp, they stared at me like he could break me at any moment, they glared at me so emotionlessly that I wanted to run away, but I couldn't, because I knew if I did, I would be caught, but still, I couldn't help but move back.
“You— Marcus… you… I—Ahhh!!”
I cried out in shock as I felt my left leg miss a step and before I could stabilise my body, I was falling back rapidly, but then, a swift figure suddenly flashed to my side and pulled me roughly.
My eyes widened in shock, my brain froze, and my face hit the naked chest of Marcus painfully and my heart beat faster and faster and so did my breathing.
What the hell?! I had almost fallen into the pool?! I didn't even know I was close to the pool… oh my goodness! What a crazy night…
“Oppf… opff…” I continued to breathe in and out, and for a moment, I forgot I was still in the arms of the man I ought to run from and my ear was pressed on his naked chest which I had been hoping to touch and… lick.
“How long do you want to stay this way?”
Marcus's voice shattered the silence and I snapped back to my senses.
I raised my head while still in his arms, and I came face-to-face with his abs. My brain froze for a second, then realisation hit me and I snapped back to my senses.
“Ahh!” I cried out, then prepared to move back but I was pulled back to his chest which shocked me.
I raised my head in shock and met the dark gaze of Marcus and stared at him in a daze. I felt confused, but also lost in those eyes of his that had always managed to put me in a daze every time, but then, something pulled me back to my senses—my hand was empty and the phone I had held was now in the hands of Marcus!
My eyes went wide again. From the number of times I was widening my eyes, you’d thought I had an eye problem, but… this was shocking and fearful!
I watched in shock as Marcus operated my phone, and to my surprise, he bypassed my passlock, and unlocked my fucking phone!
This time, I woke up from my daze!
My eyes widened even more, my brain rang with the picture of me videoing Marcus swimming, and my instinct smelled danger. Without thinking, I shook my head heavily, then rushed to him immediately…
“No!!! Give that to me! You can't see it!” I yelled, but— I was still too late because when I reached for my phone in Marcus's hand, the video was already playing and the most dangerous Alpha, the high-ranking Alpha Marcus was already watching his video that was taken sneakily by a stupid girl who is obsessed with him.
I could do nothing but stare blankly at him… I couldn't even speak, and I just knew… I'm dead!
“Gone! Everything is gone! I'm so dead! What if… what if he… oh my goodness— What have you done this time, Elena?!”
I scolded myself, but a lot of ‘what if’ appeared in my head. I trembled as I watched Marcus, and listened to the sound of splashing water that came from the phone.
My fist clenched by my sides, my eyes turned moist from unshed tears that came from my nervousness.
Every sound that came from the video gave me chills and I didn't dare look at Marcus's expression.
What would he think of me? Will this annoy him? Will he send me out of his mansion or call me a pervert?
Darn it!
I hadn't even begun with the fierce seduction I had planned to do. I’m not even prepared yet and I had only wanted to sneak a bite but who would have expected me to get caught?
But then, I suddenly paused, my lips tightened in a straight line and my eyes narrowed fiercely.
“So what if I did this?! So what if I'm a pervert who lusts after his body?! So what?! Yes, I'm a pervert who lusts after her father’s best friend who is old enough to be my uncle! Yes, I fantasise about him! I want him! I want to have him all to myself! So what?! Why is it so hard to admit it?! I want him and even if he sees the video… So what?!”
With these fierce and arrogant thoughts that swirled in my mind, my eyes became colder and excitement danced in them, my fist clenched, my blood pumped and my body trembled from admitting all these.
I raised my head and saw that Marcus was still watching the video, as if he was repeating it. I didn't know what pushed me, but I pushed closer to him, enough for him to hear me clearly, I stared at his gorgeous face, and spat, loud, clear, but a bit shaky..
“If you want to punish me for this then I’m ready to be punished! And if you think I’m a pervert for sneakily watching you swim or videoing you, then I admit! I’m a big pervert! But would you blame me?! You can’t be this hot and expect me to watch without lusting after you! You know what I feel about you, and even if you deny me the chance to be with you because you think I can’t take you which is a crazy lie! But— I won’t let you deny me the pleasure of watching you! Desiring you! Drawing you! And lusting over you! I’m sorry Alpha, punish me all you want, but I won’t stop and I also won’t leave your house!”
Immediately I finished yelling my words, and I began to regulate my breathing. I breathed in and out, but only I knew how my heart was beating at this moment. My soul felt terrified, my legs were shaking so badly, and my fists were clenched from nervousness.
These words… I can’t believe I spat them out. I can’t believe I did that..
I had yelled at a high-ranking alpha who could destroy me at any moment. I had confessed about my lustful thoughts about him… about my desire.
I felt proud of myself even while I stared at the floor in a daze, but I still couldn’t help the nervousness that wouldn't leave me. The questions that banged my brain—
“Would he get angry? Would he really send me out after hearing my confession? What if he really did? What to do…? Elena… you’re so dead!”
The air felt so tight like we were standing in a narrow space. Breathing felt difficult for me, and I had begun to sweat like I was being pursued by a beast. The air felt cold and I couldn’t help but shiver. My bones felt it, but my outer skin was on fire.
The tension in the air was crazy, and I wonder what Marcus’ expression would look like, but… I didn’t dare look at him anymore. I had spent all the confidence I had on that confession.
My breathing was heavy, and like I was waiting for a verdict that would decide my life and death, I closed my eyes, my lips parted as I let out shaky breath, and my body… frozen.
“Pervert?” I heard his low whisper, then a chuckle that sent me into the pit of fantasy, “Yes, you’re a little pervert!”
My eyes widened, I snapped my head up and locked eyes with Marcus who still looked indifferent, but his eyes… they made my heart flutter.
…What does he mean? What’s with his tone? Isn't he supposed to roar at me—
“You want to draw? Why don’t you do it now? Here… in the pool.”
