Chapter 77

Golem POV.

Leonardis mocked further, pulling out a silver blade and pressing it against Isadora's neck, causing blood to drip slowly. He said, "What's the best way to kill a whore? With a blade or..." He paused for a moment his eyes locked on Isadora's and continued saying, "You don't deserve to die by my blade, Isadora, I will do it with my fist instead." With that he threw the blade backward, the blood on it spilling on me, as soon as the droplet of blood made contact with my skin.  A surge of power, like that of a million suns, passed through my chest, and my eyes turned red.

The White Wizard yelled, "No, Leonardis, that's a..."

Before he could finish the sentence, I unleashed a furious storm of fire that consumed everything in its path, including the white wizard. The flames roared, fueled by a rage more intense than ever before.

After a few minutes of the continuous firestorm, I finally stopped, shifting back to my human form. As the smoke cleared, the only thing standing in front of me was Isadora without any clothes.

Half of the castle had been completely consumed, at least from the top. Leonardis and the White Wizard were now mixed up with the dust and ashes on the ground.

Isadora quickly grabbed an overall that carelessly lay on the ground, probably belonging to Leonardis—I had no idea. She gave me a dissatisfied, playful look as she said, "Do I need to always have a change of clothes whenever I'm with you? Besides, I told you, Leonardis was all mine to kill."

Smirking just a little, I responded, "It would be a smart thing to do. As for Leonardis, look around you, sweetie. The script changed. At least, I wasn't expecting to meet an old man who could extinguish my flame. I've never experienced such a thing before."

Isadora nodded, then gave me a serious look, saying, "I guess you're right. What was that all about, by the way? The whole making you lose your ability to breathe fire and then my blood spilling on you to make your breath three times stronger, that was a strange phenomenon don't you think, do you have any idea what trespassed ."

I nodded my head in agreement as I responded, "I have no idea, Isadora. I'm just as surprised as you. But thankfully, everything turned out in our favor. We should probably check on the men now, just to be sure everything is going on as planned out there."

With that, I shifted back into dragon form, and Isadora hopped back on my back. Together, we soared back outside.

As we flew outside, there was nothing but smoke and dead corpses lying around carelessly. The north was completely covered in ruins; the dragons hovered above, and the Southern warriors, still in their wolf form, were below.

As soon as the men set eyes on Isadora and me, they erupted into a chaotic chant of victory. I hovered, and the dragons above flew around in cycles above me.

With that, I turned around to return to the south; the dragons picked up the Southern warriors from below and followed suit.

As soon as we arrived in the south, the atmosphere was full of life at the palace, and I ordered for a party to be thrown. Drinks of all sorts flowed like a river.

Amidst the celebration, my dragon knight Rodrigo approached me by the stand where I relaxed on a couch, and Isadora sat on my thighs. With a glorious smile on his face and a bottle of whiskey in one hand, Rodrigo said, "Your Highness Fire Lord Golem, know that we have shared blood with the Southern people. Perhaps we can call each other brothers now, yeah?"

He turned around and raised the whiskey up, and the men agreed with him with loud and thunderous cheers, saying, "Yeah, brothers for life!" They echoed.

I moved Isadora, who sat on my thighs, to the side and approached the podium. The men instinctively went quiet as I approached with gentle steps and an unreadable look on my face.

"Someone get me a glass of champagne," I ordered. The chief guard immediately stepped forward and passed me a glass.

I raised the glass up, and the men followed suit. Isadora approached me slowly from behind, a beautiful smile on her face while holding a glass of red wine.

I declared, "To the South, and to the dragons, that we may be one, united as brothers for life."

The crowd erupted into cheers as everyone made to toast. I exchanged a toast with Isadora, and I downed my champagne in one gulp, pulling Isadora into a passionate kiss that made the men cheer noisily as they sang, "Long live the King and Lady of the South."

The celebration continued into the night, with music, laughter, and the joyous spirit of victory filling the air. Isadora and I danced under the moonlight, surrounded by the cheers and applause of our people. It was a moment of unity and triumph after the chaos that had unfolded.

As the night progressed, the Southern warriors and dragons shared stories, laughter, and forged bonds that would solidify the newfound alliance. Rodrigo, with a cheerful grin, engaged in friendly banter with some of the dragon warriors, symbolizing the camaraderie that had developed.

Amidst the festivities, Isadora approached me, a playful glint in her eyes. "Well, Fire Lord Golem, seems like you know how to throw a party."

I chuckled, " My love what can I say, the men have done a great job besides, it's not every day we unite two lands and defeat a common enemy."

She grinned, "True, but now that we've celebrated our victory, what's next for the South and the dragons?"

I looked into her eyes, a sense of determination shining through. "Rebuilding, strengthening our alliance, and ensuring a future where our people thrive together. And above everything else starting a beautiful family with you, my mate and love of my life."

Isadora smilled through her eyes, "Starting a family, I like the sound of that." With that, I pulled her into another passionate kiss

In the midst of the kiss, a sudden disruption silenced the music and drew everyone's attention. A bolt of fire descended through the night sky, and as the men quickly surrounded the intruder I could tell it was a dragon, Isadora and I moved closer to get a better look in the dim light.

To my surprise, the intruder was none other than Anastasia, her eyes filled with anger and determination. As our gazes locked, she thundered without holding back, "Fire Lord Golem, we are having a baby."

The words hit me like a thunderbolt, and for a moment, I was thrown off balance. "What?" I exclaimed loudly, my mind racing to comprehend the unexpected news. Isadora stood beside me, her expression a mix of shock and disbelief.
