Derek's POV
After we get the kids to bed, we head to the pack house meeting room for the entire pack. As we file in, we are greeted by everyone, and the warriors rush to Anna to greet her.
"Hi, Luna," is said, and she smiles sweetly at them.
"Hi, guys. It's so nice to see you all. Are you all okay?"
Fuck, do I love her as our men smile and nod yes to her? Vince steps forward holding out a big jar of sweet pickles, her favorite pregnancy food, and she gushes as tears fill her eyes.
"Oh my goodness," she says, wiping her face. "For me?" You didn't have to do this. Thank you so much".
"No problem, Luna, we got you more stuff," Victor says, moving aside, and bags line the floor, and she bursts into sobs and goes to hug them. We don't stop her, and our men look scared as they hug their emotional luna. Pregnant women—got to love them.
"Oh guys, she blubbers. This is so sweet," she cries, and they turn red. What the fuck? Our warriors are blushing. Liam chuckles as she tries to open her pickles before sighing sadly and setting the jar on the table with the most adorable pout on her face. Vince chuckles and opens it, making her bounce on her feet happily.
"Thank you. Do you want some?" she asked while eating pickles.
"No, Luna, they are all yours, and I got you some gummy bears." He blushed as her face lit up, and she squealed so loud pack members jumped.
"Sorry, guys, I love gummy bears," she apologizes as he hands her a huge bag. When she offers him some, he does take a few, and they stand there eating. I swear my warriors are turning into pussies. She looks so happy with her tiny self, eating pickles and gummy bears. I almost gag because who eats that combination together?
"So let's go up to the front; we've got announcements and information to go over," I say, watching my warriors help Anna with all her gifts. She smiles as we are walking until she gets tripped, and Victor lunges and catches her. His eyes are huge as he keeps her from hitting the ground. Her wide eyes take in us and the ground before she bursts into tears and hugs Victor. He holds her and tries to comfort her before his eyes go to a guilty-looking she-wolf.
"Did you just trip your luna?" Victor growls, looking ready to kill.
"It...it was an accident. "I didn't mean to," she stuttered as she looked around, and I could tell it wasn't no fucking accident. This bitch hated Anna because she was best friends with Ellie.
"Bullshit," Liam growls. "You used to be friends with my ex whore of a mate and always hated Anna. " You dare try to hurt our pup and her," he growls more, and his claws come out as he struggles to not shift. Victor is patting his luna's back as she sobs, and he looks ready to kill.
"Your luna is pregnant, you stupid bitch, and any attacks on a luna of the pack are cell confinement and/or death," he snarls as Anna starts begging him to calm down.
"Take her to the cells. We will discuss her punishment after our meeting. Anna, baby, are you okay?" I asked her. Before she can answer, this bitch runs through her piehole.
"So what if she gets hurt? The stupid bitch fights the warriors to get away; she fucking ruined my best friend's life and took everything from her. Ellie is dead, and this bitch is popping out pups like nothing. "We fucking hate you, ugly bitch." She lunges at my mate, and Vince takes her down so hard her head bounces off the ground with a sickening crack. Anna burrows into Victor's arms, crying more. He stiffens up and a growl comes from his chest as his Luna falls apart.
Anna is so sweet, and to be treated like shit just for being our mate pisses me off. Her little arms barely wrap around him, and he freezes as his arms drop to her. He looks at me torn in wanting to protect Anna or wanting to comfort her. She sounds devastated, and the feeling that I hurt her in the past comes up, leaving me beyond angry at myself and the stupid choices I made.
"Anna, are you okay?" he asked, trying to move her back. I know Vince scared her, but that bitch tried to attack our mate. He looks at her before sitting on the ground and taking her with him. She sniffles as he moves her back and wipes her cheeks.
"I'm okay that the noise her head made is what made me scared," she mumbled low, and Victor nodded, looking her over for injuries. He seemed satisfied till she noticed her gummy bears on the floor. Fuck, his eyes go huge. Vince hands the knocked-out she-wolf to other warriors and hurries to Ann's, looking her over for injuries himself.
"My gummy bears!!!" she wails, big tears falling. "Vince, I'm sorry I didn't mean to drop them." He seems surprised but hugs her as she cries before laughing because it was the cutest shit. After we calm down Anna and get the bitch to a cell, we hold our meeting, and everyone finds out the new rules and rogue issue we got hit with. Anna sits between Vince and Victor eating gummy bears and pickles.
"So the rule that has been in place for hundreds of years is being changed. All warriors and fighters of our packs will now be allowed to find mates.
No one is allowed to bully, abuse, or make fun of any pack mate for their appearance or rank.
We will be adding more housing to our land for our growth.
Now to the rogues: they attacked because, as you all know, our son Levi was born, and before his birth, the moon goddess said he would be strong enough to rule the whole werewolf kingdom and stronger than any alpha in existence. They want him dead at any cost, and we won't let that happen, so they promise to keep attacking. "Any questions?" I add, watching everyone stare at us, mouths wide and fear gripping the room. Anna eats her gummy bears, sitting with the warriors, and Liam looks mad enough to kill right now.
"No one is killing my baby," Anna speaks up, startling us, "or I will rip their dicks off and make them deep throat them before forcing them to eat them," she hisses, popping more gummy bears in her mouth. Everyone stares at her dumbfounded as she keeps eating, acting like she didn't just say the grossest shit we ever heard from her sweet mouth. She looks up all innocently.
"What?" I almost choke on my spit.
"Baby, what the hell?" I chuckle as she goes back to her goodies.
"Holy shit, she's a savage," Vince says, laughing.
"Don't encourage her," I say, shaking my head.
Anna continues eating and offering others her food as we sit waiting for questions. Our backs look shocked, then the questions start.
"What do we do?"
"How do we stop it?"
"How many are going to die before it stops?"
"We aren't strong enough; maybe we need to give them what they want," she said, and Anna went nuts. Dropping her food and shifting mid-air to attack the bitch that opened her mouth. She sinks her canines into the other wolf, shocking the whole room. The power coming off our mate is alarming as her deep growls shake the walls.
