Without looking at Estelle, Cristofer said, “Miss Hudson, why are you still standing there? As a designer, don’t you need to know about the customer’s needs?”
Seeing this, Jeremy stood up and let Estelle sit in his seat. “Come on. Sit here and have a talk with Mr. Hans about it.”
Estelle sighed, having no choice but to walk over.
She thought she was lucky to get an interview when she wanted to find a job. But at this moment, she felt that she was so unlucky that she met Cristofer and Gretchen when she came here for the interview.
At the thought that Cristofer hated her and Gretchen had a grudge against her, Estelle was speechless and believed that they wouldn’t let her pass the interview. She could even imagine how they would humiliate her later.

Estelle calmed herself down and contained her anger. She turned to Jeremy and said in a gentle voice, “Jeremy, could you please show me the requirements of Mr. Hans and Miss Abrams and their comments on the previous designs?”
Jeremy looked up at Cristofer.
Seeing that Cristofer was thinking about something with his head lowered, he didn’t refuse Estelle, turned his laptop to her, and showed her a document.
“Here it is. Hurry up. Don’t let Mr. Hans and Miss Abrams wait too long. Our company is famous for our service. Every second of our customers is very precious,” Jeremy urged her.
Without listening to him, Estelle focused on reading the document.
Gretchen made many requirements, and the documents had at least ten thousand words in total.
While reading the document, Estelle thought speechlessly, ‘It is almost like an essay. Even when I was at university and wrote descriptions for my design drawings, I couldn’t write so many words.’
It would take much time to read a document with ten thousand words carefully, so Estelle decided to skim through it.
“Haven’t you finished? I don’t want to wait too long,” Cristofer said in an impatient tone, looking irritable.
“Yes,” Estelle said as she shifted her gaze to him. “I’ve had a basic understanding of your requirements. Miss Abrams wants a pair of rings with your names as design inspiration. In addition, she wants the diamond to be no less than twelve carats and cut into a heart shape. And Mr. Hans wants the ring to be simple and graceful, right?”
In fact, most of the words in the document were nonsense. Although she hadn’t designed anything for a long time, she could see the difference between Cristofer and Gretchen’s requirements at a glance.
Gretchen was full of romantic fantasies, taking herself as a princess and wanting a grand wedding. Therefore, the ring that she wanted also embodied her romanticism.
However, Cristofer didn’t want such an exaggerated ring. After all, he had to manage his company and attend various social activities frequently. If he wore a heart-shaped diamond ring, others would laugh at him.
Estelle finally knew why the two of them were not satisfied with the previous designs. It was impossible to meet their requirements simultaneously because the rings that they wanted were of totally different styles.
Thinking of this, Estelle chuckled.
‘They have different values and thoughts. It’s really hard to understand why they love each other so much. Well, miracles happen every day.’
At this time, Gretchen said, “Miss Hudson, since Cristofer wants you to design our wedding rings, I respect his decision. I hope every detail of our wedding is perfect so if the rings that you design can’t meet my requirements, I will still reject them.”
“I see,” Estelle nodded as she heard Gretchen’s words.
“We’ll get married next month,” Cristofer said abruptly.
Hearing this, Jeremy was confused and wondered, ‘Does the wedding date have anything to do with the ring design?’
On the contrary, Estelle knew what Cristofer meant.
He was showing off that he would get married and reminding her that they should get divorced.
With a nod, she said, “I see. I’m here for the interview today, so I have brought my ID card with me. After the interview, we can go to the Court directly.”
Cristofer frowned and looked at her up and down. With displeasure on his face, he said, “Your new boyfriend really has bad taste. Does he know you dress up like this? I can’t understand why he is willing to spend so much money on you.”
Estelle ignored his words and said calmly, “Mr. Hans, let’s talk about the design first. I think...”
“Estelle!” Cristofer interrupted her, “How could you be so heartless?”
“I’m heartless?”
“Yvonne is still so young, but you didn’t take care of her; instead, you played around with another man. You are unfit to be a mother!” Cristofer shouted.
At the mention of her daughter, Estelle felt a sudden surge of anger and said, “Yes, I’m unfit to be a mother! And you are unfit to be a father! Yvonne is so young, but you took her away from me, and you only allowed me to meet her once since. Don’t you know that a baby at her age needs her mother’s care most? Besides, I don’t have a fiance and won’t get married soon. But you, Yvonne’s father, are here with your fiancee to customise your wedding rings!”
“Are you blaming me?” Cristofer said with a frown.
“Can’t I blame you, Cristofer? If I get custody of my daughter, I won’t get married for the rest of my life for the sake of her, and I’ll take good care of her. Can you sacrifice your happiness for her? You can’t! So you have no right to say I’m unfit to be a mother!”
