With a weak smile, Cristofer explained, “I had to take a cold shower to calm myself down.”
Keeping her eyes closed, Estelle cleared her throat to hide her embarrassment. She then unfolded the bath towel, holding one corner in each hand, and inquired, “Is this height okay?”
“Raise it a little higher, please.”
Estelle adjusted the towel accordingly.
“Okay.”
Hearing this, Estelle slowly wrapped the bath towel around his waist and then tucked the corners in.
Since Cristofer was much taller than Estelle, he had to bend down slightly to help her. Despite his cooperation, Estelle still found it a bit challenging to wrap the towel around him. They stood close, giving the impression that she was embracing him.
Lowering his head to gaze at her, Cristofer smelled the familiar faint jasmine fragrance in her hair. However, when he was about to sniff Estelle’s hair deeply, she suddenly stepped backward and straightened up.
“Okay. It’s done,” Estelle said as she slightly opened her eyes and looked at him intently.
Estelle sighed in relief with the bath towel now properly wrapped around Cristofer. She touched her face with the back of her hand and realized that it was burning hot.
“Thank you,” Cristofer said gently.
“Don’t mention it,” Estelle said, feeling uneasy.
“Star, why did you come back?” Cristofer asked. To avoid making Estelle uncomfortable, he chose to sit farther away from her on the bed.
“I... I was afraid that something unexpected would happen to you, so I came back to see if you were okay and if I needed to call an ambulance.”
“Star, you are worried about me, right?” Cristofer said with a happy smile. “In your heart, I mean something to you, don’t I? Even if I may have hurt you, you would still have come back to save me just now, right?”
Estelle didn’t know what to say. On one hand, she had always been kind-hearted, and her conscience didn’t allow her to stand by and do nothing in that situation. On the other hand, Cristofer was Mr. Mysterious’ younger brother, the person most similar to Mr. Mysterious. Whether out of morality or emotion, she would definitely come back to help him.
Cristofer was gazing at her with pleading eyes as if he was pleading with her to love him.
Seeing him like this, Estelle turned her face away to avoid his gaze and said, “Don’t think too much. Even if you are a stranger to me, I will try my best to save you when your life is in danger, not to mention that you are my children’s father.”
After hearing her answer, Cristofer was silent for a long time. Then he nodded slightly and said, “Yes, you have always been kind-hearted.”
“Let’s not talk about this, shall we?” Estelle asked, “How is your arm now? Do you need to go to the hospital?”

“From the customer’s requirements and the design drawings you showed me, I reckon that it’s very likely that he buys the bracelet for a young girl,” Cristofer said.

“Most middle-aged women tend to buy bracelets made of gold, silver, or jade. And they prefer heavier and more luxurious jewelry. The diamond platinum bracelet your client wants is light and more suitable for young people. So it’s almost certain that the bracelet is a gist for a young girl between fifteen and thirty years old,” Cristofer explained briefly.
Estelle had never known this side of Cristofer. Seeing him talking with confidence and composure and analyzing the customer’s requirements so accurately, she couldn’t help looking at him with her eyes full of amazement.
She said to herself, ‘Cristofer, you’re so different from what you used to be like. Now, you’re more capable, mature, and steady than before. No wonder the people in the business world all take you as a legend.’

Estelle shook her head and said, “He has no other requirements.”

“How do you know that?” Estelle was surprised.
“I judged it by my experience in the business world. Star, you have an excellent talent in jewelry design but may lack experience in doing business. The most important thing when doing business is to know your enemies, your partners, and your customers. Only by knowing them can you get the maximum profit with the least cost.”
Estelle nodded, feeling that what he had said was very familiar.

Considering my budget constraints and the high price of platinum, I’ll opt for a more affordable metal that doesn’t easily rust for the charm on the platinum bracelet. Additionally, I’d like to request that the dog’s eyes be inlaid with two small diamonds. This way, we can achieve a charming bracelet without costing much.”
When she finished her words, she looked at Cristofer.
