Gary said disapprovingly with a weak voice, “Humph. He must be talking to that shameless woman over the phone.”
Estelle didn’t say anything. Whether it was Gretchen who called Cristofer or not had nothing to do with her.
“Grandpa, have a good rest. I’ll be here with you.”
“I will,” Gary said and then slowly closed his eyes. Soon, he fell asleep, and his breath gradually became even.
At the thought that Yohan and Yvonne were still at the Hans’ Residence, Estelle couldn’t help feeling worried. She didn’t know if Luke could deal with Gretchen alone.

“Gretchen, I have agreed to all your requirements. What else do you want?” Cristofer said on the phone, gritting his teeth.
