Because of Colin's words, Harriet went to the property office the next day. Then the man never came to Colin again. It might worked because of what she did.
Harriet had no other roles to play except the maid. She could finished her role in two days but the actress who played the third heroine was sick. The director replaced her with Harriet for her excellent acting skills.
Irene hated Harriet with outrage.
She remembered that how she was bullied by her. She tried every means to get revenge and was extremely thrilled as she could send her do everything as she just acted a small role, but now she could play the third heroine. How lucky was she!
"Irene, Boss Baker just called."The assistant ran over and told Irene."He is going to have dinner with Dragon Glamour's producer tonight t and asked if you want to go."
"That's just an old man!"Irene pouted, and boss Baker must have cooperation with the producer so he asked her to please him, but the thing was that she was not sure if she could get the role to play even she was tarnished.
The assistant was also a little annoyed and asked,"Then I'll turn boss Baker down?"
Irene murmured casually.
Anyway, she had a lot of good scripts now, so she didn't need to please boss Baker. When she glanced at Harriet in the corner, her eyes narrowed a plan hit her mind. She stopped the assistant from calling.
"Harriet!"Irene shouted loudly, and walked to Harriet,"Are you searching for good scripts to play?"
Looking at the hypocritical Irene, Harriet knew that she wanted to put her in trouble, but she just grinned at her,"That is correct! Did Miss Whitty can give me some chances?"
Irene said,"Although I am at odds with you, your acting skills are very good, and it is a pity that you have little opportunities to act. I know a friend who has dinner with Dragon Glamour's Produce Henry Rockwell tonight. If you want to go, I can take you."
Look, this was the trap!
Harriet was not a freshman in entertainment industry. She also knew some producers. This producer Henry was old and he often tarnished actresses without giving them chances to act.
It was obvious that what Irene was going to do as she would like her meet Henry.
Irene pouted her lips and hummed for Harriet's silence,"The producer is rich. If you become a friend with him, you can get good scripts at any minutes! Never mind if you do not want to go with me."
"Why would I give up the chance as you are so kind to offer me help?"Harriet raised her red lips,"I was just thinking about what clothes to wear for the dinner"
"Get ready as soon as possible."Irene wrote the club address and VIP room number to Harriet. As she turned around, a sneer swept across her lips.
Harriet looked at the note and wondered.
Irene wanted to play with her psychological tactics. Oh, she just deliberately followed her words. She would go to the club but it was hard to say who would be embarrassed.
Harriet appeared on the door of a club on time at 8:30 p. m. after she changed her outfit at home.
She told the VIP room number to the waiter who led her upstairs later. Soon, she reached the door of the room. When the door opened, Harriet smelled the fragrant red wine.
The room was big but the light was dimmed. A few men were sitting on the sofa, and there was a man with his legs folded. The slight movement of leaning over made her recall someone's habit.
"Miss Harriet is coming."
The waiter reported. The next second Harriet felt a cold gaze fixed on her and they looked at each other.
Harriet,"..."
She knew that the guy was similar for her. come on, it was him!
However, she and Wesley ended their relationship two months earlier. Even if he was here, it had nothing to do with her, so Harriet walked into the room directly.
"Boss Baker."Harriet still could recognizes him. She took off her jacket and walked straight towards him, smirking,"I'm Irene's friend, and she asked me to come and hang out with you."
After taking off her small coat, she had a thin, low-cut black dress inside. She was so seductive in the flickering lights, and her flashing eyes made her look like a fairy.
All the present men were short of breath.
Baker quickly reacted and introduced the present guests with Harriet. Harriet pursed her lips and shook hands with the men one by one. When it was the Henry's turn, he just held her hand for a long time and would not let her go.
"This is Mr. Smith."
Harriet was brought in front of Wesley. The man sat there with his legs crossed with coldness released. He didn't even look up at her.
