Irene failed to charge her so she asked the director. The director was a little impatient, so she showed her the filming."Harriet did follow the script. It was you said you were not a swimmer. It is normal that you was drown a little."
"..."
Harriet was holding her towel and rubbing her hair loosely. She was in a good mood.
Following the four scenes of the afternoon, Irene told the director she would like Harriet be the crowd actress. Harriet accepted frankly. In the end Irene was embarrassed instead of Harriet.
Finally, Irene found an opportunity to bully Harriet.
Irene, who played the heroine, quarreled with her mother, and Harriet came to persuade her. Irene directly poured the tea water on her face and said angrily,"What's up with you, shut up!"
Before the filming, Irene secretly asked the assistant to replace the cold tea with hot one. A cup of hot tea was poured on Harriet's face which made her trembling.
Irene was thrilled as she revenged successfully.
Although Harriet was just a crowd actress, she would be ask to act again if she didn't perform well, and then Irene could have the opportunity to pour her hot tea again!
It was just that Harriet had great tolerance against her. She didn't make a scream but just left the room without retort. Irene was furious for her.
"Done!"The director breathed with relief as this scene passed. He let everyone to take a break.
Although Harriet did not say anything, her entire face was now flushed because of the hot water splashing on her face. Everyone looked at her face and gossiped about it secretly.
After the filming was over, Harriet quickly opened a bottle of mineral water to wash her face. Her face was very supple. When she touched her face, she felt painful for the hit of the hot tea.
She still got hurt by Irene.
"Well? Then, isn't that the boss Smith in Pop Culture? Why did he come here?"
The familiar name made Harriet's heart beat faster. When she looked up, she saw four or five men on the other side of the circular corridor. The man walking in the front had excellent temperament.
With just one glance, Harriet continued to lower her head and wash her face with water.
Philadelphia was a small city, but she did not expect to see Wesley in such a place after half a month.
Someone on the set knew Wesley, so they went to ask Irene,"Is it true that boss Smith is going to marry your cousin?"
"That's true!"Irene laughed and was pretty proud,"Mr. Smith loves my cousin so much, knowing that my cousin was sick, he went to Singapore to pick her back, and searched proper kidney source for her. He even took care of my cousin carefully after she finished the kidney replacement surgery.
Someone said with emotion,"Oh my God! Your cousin is so lucky to have this great man to look after her. He is Wesley Smith! It just sounds like a fairy tale!"
Harriet was right next to them. She heard everything and her lips were slightly pinched.
No wonder he stayed in Singapore for so long. He was just with his fiancee.
Those actors talked and then urged Irene to say hello to Wesley."Anyway, he is going to be your brother in law. Maybe your cousin told him that you're filming here!"
Irene had always been arrogant. With so many people encouraged her, she didn't want to lose face. she managed her clothes and walked towards Wesley, greeted him softly,"Wesley."
Harriet:"..."
Harriet's goosebumps were all up. If she was Wesley, she would definitely throw up!
Wesley was talking. It was displeasing to be interrupted. He face turned rigid. He had to stand still as Irene blocked their way, and said coldly,"What's up?"
"You, don't you know me?"The man's coldness made Irene shiver but she tried to explain,"I am Louisa's cousin Irene. When I went to visit Louisa last week, you were also there and you also greeted me."
"Oh."Wesley didn't bother to remember this unimportant role, but he pretended to remember her out of courtesy.
Irene secretly rejoiced, thinking that men knew her.
So she gave Wesley the milk tea in her hand, speaking more womanish,"Thank you for taking care of Louisa. When you are married, I will definitely be the bridesmaid."
"..."
Harriet really couldn't stand their conversation.
If she hadn't know Irene well, she would have doubted if she was crazy. She talked with her future brother in law like that, others must thought that she wanna be his wife!
