Episode 16

"Are you really leaving?" Diana asked, causing me to gasp in fear.

Suddenly, Silva appeared out of nowhere and grabbed my hands tightly.

"Don't you think you should have asked some questions before doing something you know nothing about?" he yelled at me.

"I apologize, but..." I began to defend myself before Diana interrupted.

"But what? Get her out of this place!" She shouted at him as he began to drag me away.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know that it would result in banishment. Please have mercy on me!" I pleaded, but they continued to take me away as Arianna was shedding tears.

Just then, Alpha Jesse's door opened and he stepped out of his room.

"What's going on here, Silva? Are you crazy? Why are you dragging my daughter like this?" Jesse yelled at Silva, who still had a tight grip on my hand.

"Dad, can you believe she broke one of our rules within an hour of living here with us?" Diana interjected, even though she hadn't been asked.

"What did she do?" Jesse asked, and I was filled with fear.

"Without Silva's permission, she came to knock on your door," Diana replied.

"I'm so sorry, I had no idea it was against the law," I pleaded with sorrow as Jesse stared at me for a few moments.

Meanwhile, Diana was already feeling satisfied and hoping that I would be gone soon, but fate had other plans.

"So she knocked on my door? I..." Alpha Jesse began to question, but Diana cut him off.

"Yes, she did. Can you believe it?" Diana said, as Alpha Jesse shouted at her in anger.

"Diana, be quiet for once! Yes, she knocked on my door. Was that the reason why you were making all this noise?"

He yelled at Silva, "Get your filthy hands off my daughter!" Silva immediately released me from his grip, and I felt a sigh of relief.

"Dad, what are you doing? This is the first time someone has escaped punishment under the law in this pack," Diana shouted in anger, feeling deeply disappointed.

Meanwhile, I was watching from the corner, holding my hand in pain. Ariana came over to help me, and I felt grateful for her support.

"So, you're saying I should chase away my own daughter? You would seriously watch your own sister get banished?" Alpha Jesse asked, looking at Diana in shock.

"The last time you punished Silva, you stated that no one is above the law. Just because she is my sister doesn't mean that she shouldn't obey the law!" Diana shouted.

"And why didn't you mention the time when you knocked on my door without Silva's permission?" Jesse asked, which caught my attention as I listened to their discussion.

So, Diana had also made that mistake, and she wasn't banished? And now she wants to see me banished? I couldn't believe how heartless she could be.

"But you punished me, father! You punished me!" She yelled at Alpha Jesse.

"Don't you dare raise your voice at me! Yes, I punished you because you were claiming a right that you did not have. And you deserved it!" Alpha Jesse screamed at her, and she stared at us silently before leaving our presence.

Then I looked up at my father with an innocent expression on my face.

"Dad, I'm sorry. I didn't know..." I began to apologize, but he interrupted me.

"Lucia, you didn't do anything wrong," he reassured me as he stepped closer and gently touched my hair.

"And as for you, Silva, never lay your hands on her again without my permission. From today on, she is the only one allowed to enter my room without your present. Do you understand?" he warned Silva, while I hugged him tightly with tears in my eyes.

He is truly demonstrating that he is my father, doing everything possible to ensure my safety. He is the best father in the world.

"Thank you so much, Dad," I said as I hugged him tightly.

"You're welcome, my princess," he replied, rubbing my back with his right hand.

"But why did you come looking for me?" he asked.

"I just wanted to see the patient, to check if he is improving," I explained.

"Is that all?" he asked, and I nodded.

"Silva, take her to the clinic and show her the patient she wants to see," he ordered, and I thanked him once again.

He went back to his room, while Arianna and I followed Silva as he led us to the clinic. As we walked, Arianna and I continued to chat.

"Sorry Arianna, I couldn't understand what you were trying to tell me earlier," I apologized to her, and she gave me a brief smile.

"It's not your fault. I should have explained more clearly earlier. I couldn't have forgiven myself if you were eventually dismissed," she said, and I smiled as well.

"I feel embarrassed for acting awkwardly. I think I should be more careful when listening to you from now on," I said to her, and she nodded in agreement.

"So, my princess, have you gone for a run in the woods?" she asked, but I didn't quite get it.

"A run in the woods? Do you mean a race? Just go and race there?" I replied, puzzled, but she smiled.

She knew I had no experience with werewolves since I was raised outside of the pack.

"I understand, Lucia. But if you don't mind, I can take you out for a run there, and you can see yourself in your wolf form," she offered kindly.

"Have you ever transformed into your wolf form before?" she asked, and I shook my head.

"No, I haven't," I replied.

"I know, but don't worry. If you come with me and other omegas for a run tonight, I can help you see your wolf form," she offered, and I nodded eagerly.

"Wow, I can't wait for nightfall," I responded, and she smiled.

"You are a true blessing to us, Lucia. It's as if the moon goddess herself has chosen you to bestow us with her grace," she exclaimed, leaving me beaming with gratitude.

Diana walked by, but we paid her no mind, hoping she could find solace for her troubles and unrest.

Despite our efforts, Diana purposefully bumped into Arianna and raised her hand to strike her.

"Are you blind? Couldn't you see me walking?" she spat, her hand poised to deliver a blow.

But this time, I took hold of her hand, knowing that Arianna had already endured too much.

As Dad had made clear, Arianna was my servant alone, not to be shared.

"Don't even think about laying a hand on her!" I shouted, gripping her hand tightly. She stared at me, taken aback by my sudden outburst.

"I can see that the longer you stay here, the more your bitterness takes root. You're nothing but a reject," she spat at me, but I refused to let go of her hand. We locked eyes, neither of us willing to back down.

"I have no interest in engaging in a war of words with you. All I want is for you to understand that you must never lay a hand on Arinna again!" I declared firmly.

"She serves me and me alone. She works for me and me alone! You have no right to lay a finger on her!" I raised my voice, making it clear that I would not tolerate any mistreatment of my servant.

Silva had been watching us silently, but he finally decided to walk away, leaving us behind.

Without hesitation, I took Arianna's hand and we ran after Silva, determined to catch up with him.

I couldn't help but worry that my mere presence might trigger a heart attack in this poor girl.

I couldn't understand why she always seemed so downcast and never wore a smile, no matter what. I wondered what could be troubling her so much.

Despite her constant agitation and restlessness, I couldn't help but feel sympathy for her plight.

We finally arrived at the clinic and Silva pointed out the person I had come to see.

As I approached, I saw that he was still lying in a comatose state, and there was little I could do except stand back and let the doctors do their job.

I stood there, gazing at him as he lay motionless on the bed, struggling to breathe.

"Doctor, will he recover?" I inquired anxiously.

"I cannot say for sure. At this point, his fate will determine whether he lives or dies," the doctor replied solemnly.

I moved closer to the young man and stared at him, hoping that he would somehow pull through this ordeal.

"Please give me a moment alone," I requested, while Silva waited patiently on the other side, ready to leave with me.

"Is he someone important to you?" Arianna inquired, catching my attention.

"I don't even know this young man," I replied honestly.

"But why do I sense love in the air?" she probed, looking at me intently.

"Mind your words!" I snapped, refusing to believe her words, though I knew deep down that she spoke the truth.

I may not know this young man, but there's something about him that draws me in. I can only hope that he doesn't succumb to his injuries.

Suddenly, UK's voice interrupted my thoughts. "Silva, Diana is looking for you," she called out.

"Leave here soon," Silva instructed, before departing to tend to Diana's needs.
