If you’re reading this, you’re probably also familiar with the motive they supposedly implanted in him: he believed reality was a game, a simulation running on an AI, and that the bombs would blow a hole through “reality” and sweep his innocent followers into a higher, heavenly realm with him. The true reality. His leaked notes confirm this.
But that’s only half the story. What most theories are missing is the motive of the Black Flock themselves. What did they hope to gain from it? Some say they’re just an anonymous crowd sourced terror organization bent on murder and destruction. I call BS. What terror organization wants you terrified with no stated political objective?
After a lot of research, I believe I have found the answer. Read on at your own risk… it will keep you up at night.
First some known facts:
Dave’s game, Rainblocks, features a monster/savior boss named Choronzon, and the visual symbol of the Black Flock is the triple triangle sigil associated with this demon from the occult writings of Elizabethan magician, Dr. John Dee. The same arch demon was also summoned by Victorian occultist Aleister Crowley in the North African desert on December 6,1909.
I posit that while the Scream Time Live show was an act of ritual violence designed to blow a gaping hole in the fabric of reality, this was not for the purpose of granting Dave and his minions access to a higher dimension. It was for the purpose of granting Choronzon access to ours.
I do not believe Dave knew this, but seeing as his programmers assassinated him, we will never know for sure.
In Crowley’s account of his vision in the desert, the last thing the demon says to him before departing is a prophecy:
“The horror of it will be given in another place and time, and through another seer, and that seer shall be slain as a result of his revealing.”
And what is the purpose of setting Choronzon loose on our plane?
Apocalyptic chaos.
The Black Flock, whoever they are, expect to thrive in an environment of fear, confusion, and chaos. They must have extensive mechanisms in place to profit from such conditions. Investments in defense contractors and surveillance tech, hedged bets that certain stocks will crash, etc.
Consider this quote from Choronzon to Crowley (from The Vision and the Voice, The Cry of the 10th Aethyr):
“…my gold is safe in my treasure chamber, and I have made every living thing my concubine, and none shall touch them save only I. From me come leprosy and pox and plague…”
Mark my words: that line means they’re shamelessly fucking us all and planning to profit from an apocalyptic plague.
There also appear to be instructions for the flock to use internet memes as weapons of mass chaos, division, and confusion:
“Images, images, images, all without control, all without reason… and these are they that are fallen under my power, the slaves of the Blind One that boasteth himself to be the Enlightened One. For there is no center, nay, nothing but dispersion.”
For the 1909 summoning, Crowley was the seer and his assistant, Victor Neuburg, was the scribe. After wrestling with the demon while it possessed Crowley, and driving it back into the triangle they’d drawn in the sand to contain it, Neuburg wrote the following in his journal:
“For cunningly he doth talk of many things, going from subject to subject, and thus he misleadeth the wary into argument with him. And though Choronzon be easily beaten in argument, yet, by disturbing the attention of him who would command him, doth he gain the victory.”
Hmm, who does that remind me of? I don’t know about you, but I watched the presidential debate the other night, and I’m convinced the Scream Time event was intended to usher in an age of chaos, starting with the 2016 election.
But Dave failed, right? He was thwarted.
Yeah. About that. This is the part that will keep you up at night.

Intelligence agencies occasionally feed highly sensitive info to people like him knowing it will instantly be discredited by the mainstream media and general population.

ROYGBIVsquared 17 points 5 hours ago I wasn’t going to comment and I’m likely going to get downvoted into oblivion, but I’ll just say it: You people are sick. Even those of us who were Rainbow Dave’s biggest fans agree that what he did (and tried to do) was unquestionably horrific.
But we also know it was something he never would have been capable of years or even months ago. Dave was clearly suffering from a severe mental illness that finally got the best of him. Maybe he stopped taking his medicine or it was something that went completely undiagnosed.
Whatever it was, though, it’s a tragedy and shouldn’t be used as fodder for neckbeards to create urban D&D campaigns disguised as conspiracy theories.

Reign_Blocks_333 7 points 5 hours ago It wasn’t mental illness, drugs, or any other pathetic vice of this reality. Choronzon may not have been able to cleanse this realm, but His time will come. He is not as benevolent as I’d hoped, but His truth is still the way.
The awakening has only been delayed. It is still inevitable.

PrismParticle9 0 points 4 hours ago Okay, I know this will sound like I’m making it up, but I used to watch Rainbow Dave pretty religiously (don’t judge) and for the last 30 minutes there’s been a yellow cat that looks exactly like Lemon staring at me through my window. I know it can’t be him because I live in Rhode Island and Dave lived in New York, but it’s freaking me out.
His pupils are completely dilated, and he’s got a bunch of black feathers in his mouth like he killed and ate a crow or something.
