Chapter 96

Kalus paced back and forth in his bedroom, he had sent some of his guards to summon the old man.

His guards had been away for close to three hours now and he was gradually losing his patience.

“What the hell is keeping them waiting?”He asked himself, his eyes locking onto the wall clock in his room.

Just then, the door of his bedroom burst open revealing the old man who was escorted with three of Kalus's guards.

“You sent for me Kalus?”The old man asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Leave us!”Kalus said to his guards and the three guards bowed their head gently before walking out of the room

“Have your seat,”Kalus said to the old man.

The old man sat down, his mind racing with anticipation.

He just couldn't wait for Kalus to spill the beans.

“I found a young lady with a birthmark, and I am confused if she's my child or not,”Kalus said, wiping some sweat from his temples.

“Where's the birthmark located? Is it the same spot with yours?”The old man asked

“Yes, it's also on her shoulder, the same with mine, no difference”Kalus replied

“Hmm”The old man sighed heavily

“What’s going on? Talk to me”Kalus said

“She's your……”The old man replied but he was unable to complete his sentence when Kalus interrupted.

“Nooo, don't tell me that!”Kalus yelled, slamming his hand on the wall in his bedroom

“That's the fact Kalus, I can't lie to you, she's your daughter”The old man said

“No, so Monica was the young lady I raped many years ago, so Angelica and Stephanie are my children, tell me something”Kalus screamed at the top of his voice.

“That's right, Monica the powerful lycan werewolf in your empire was the young lady you raped many years ago”The old man said

“Oh shit! Monica will kill me”Kalus replied

“What do you mean by that?”The old man asked

“When I finished sleeping with her many years ago, even though I was unconscious, I heard her saying a statement before she was pushed out by my guards”Kalus replied

“What did she say?”The old man asked

“She said if she meets me again then she will kill me,”Kalus said, his voice cracking slightly.

“Did she recognize you till now?”The old man asked

“No, she totally forgot my face”Kalus replied

The old man burst into laughter and Kalus began to wonder what made him laugh.

“This matter on ground isn't funny, I see no reason why you should be laughing old man”Kalus roared.

“Put your mind at rest Kalus”The old man said

“I should not worry about it?”Kalus asked

“Since she doesn't remember your face till now, then you’re safe”The old man replied

“Are you sure?”Kalus asked

“Trust me”The old man replied

“Hmm, okay”Kalus said

“Note this Kalus, don't you ever open your mouth to tell anyone that you're the father of Stephanie and Angelica”The old man replied

“I won't, but I'm hurt,”Kalus said with a frown on his face.

“Why? What's the problem?”The old man asked

“I can't believe I have been plotting evil against my own biological daughter, years back I got married to a woman I so much love, we were married for ten good years without a child, so she decided to leave me and move on, since she discovered the problem is from me, Monica was the only one I slept with and she got pregnant, she was the only one that allowed me to have children that I can call mine, the fact is I adopted Bianchi when she was still very young”Kalus said, his eyes welled up with tears.

“Hmm, it's a very sad story, but don't open up to Monica, she won't forgive you”The old man replied
