Chapter no 29
Chapter no 29
She has been crying in the room for hours and nobody came in to confront her. She felt useless for the first time. Just then her phone rang. She answered the call.
"Hello Saliha, how is it going?" It was Aunt Eliza.
"Hey aunt, it's fine," she said, trying hard to compose herself.
"What happened? Are you okay? You have been crying? I can sense it, tell me, let me ask Roman then, what happened, everything okay?" She asked many questions at once.
"No, no aunt no need to tense him, I am fine, I was just missing my grandma," she said, wiping her tears.
"Oh honey, don't be sad," said Eliza.
"When are you coming back?" she asked.
"Don't worry, by next week we will be home," said Eliza. "I miss you," she said with tears in her eyes.
"What were you thinking?" he said, angrily.
"Are you out of your mind or what?" asked Haeem, angrily. He was punching the bag angrily.
"Roman, you are doing too bad with her," said Emaad.
"We are talking to you," said Haeem.
"You have humiliated her in front of us, in front of everyone like this, you know who she is to you?" asked Emaad.
"She is no one to me, she is nothing to me, always remember, she is the reason, I have spent my life hating someone so much, she was forced on me," Roman growled in anger.
They both become silent.
"If you hate her, then why did you save her, if you hate her then why did not let her dance with that Random guy?" asked Haeem.
He remained quiet.
"You are not justifying your actions," said Haeem and he got up. "Where is Zain?' asked Emaad to change the topic.
"I don't know, I have not seen him since last night," said Haeem.
"Yeah I left as well, I dropped Hunza home," said Emaad.
"How come you did not end up killing each other?" asked Haeem. Emaad gave him a sigh.
Roman was staring at his phone expressionlessly.
She got down to the kitchen to eat something. The remains from the last night's party were all cleaned up. The servant did a pretty good job.
She walked towards the fridge and opened it up. Roman was sitting on the table and eating his flakes. She was avoiding him but she could feel his eyes on her. She was wearing a crop top and blue jeans. Revealing her tiny waist. His gaze fell on her waist and felt his arousal rise.
She walked towards the table ignoring him and started eating her apple pie. They were acting as if nothing happened last night or they didn't know each other.
"Your boyfriend is standing outside and looking for you," he said in a deep voice. She looked up at him with a confused expression.
"Kashan boy," he said.
"Yeah, like your dozens of girlfriends are sleeping in your bedroom," she thought.
"He is not my boyfriend," she said.
He shrugged.
She got up and walked towards the door.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"I don't know," she said, shortly. He got up from his chair, angrily and walked towards her.
"You are living on my property so you have to tell me where you are going," he hissed.
She looked up in his blue furious eyes.
"Why does it matter to you?" she asked, annoyed with tears in her eyes.
He remained quiet for a while.
"Saliha, tell me where are you going?" he asked, trying to calm himself.
"I am going to Hunza's place, Kashan is here to pick me up," she said, looking away.
He looked at her from up to down.
"In these?" he asked, pointing towards her clothes. She looked down on her dress.
"What?" she asked.
"Go and change them," he said, coldly.
"But these are my favorite..." she tried to say something when he hissed.
"I don't give a damn what is your favorite, change these now," he ordered.
"No, I will wear what I want, if this is causing you trouble then move aside and don't talk to me," she said and turned. He clenched his teeth and watched her walking away.
She took a deep breath, it was the first time she ever talked in front of him. Kashan was standing outside and waiting for her.
"My bike is gone wreck," he said, annoyed.
"What happened?" she asked.
"Well, I was going to knock on your door and when I came back my tires were punctured, whoever did this I beg God please make him suffer with fever and cold," he said, annoyed.
Saliha took a deep breath and looked at the bike.
"Seems like we have to walk," she said. He looked at her sheepishly.
They were walking on the street when she turned to look at the first floor's window. She could feel two furious eyes on her.
"So, what were you doing?" asked Kashaan.
They were walking on the street. There was a water puddle due to recent rain.
"Nothing much, I was just wondering if this haircut suits me?" she said. He looked at her.
"Yeah, it does, don't cut them further because long hair looks good on you," he said smiling.
She smiled in return.
She was walking beside him while talking when they heard tires screeching.
Before she could step aside a bike crossed by it with highly accelerated speed. The muddy water in the puddle all fell on Saliha. She screamed.
"Hey are you okay?" asked Kashaan. "Stupid, idiot," screams Kashaan from behind the biker.
She looked at the bike but in one glimpse she could recognize him. It was Roman.
"Freaking idiot, I know he did this on purpose," she thought.
"Your dress has ruined Saliha, come on let's change, I never knew such people are living here in your area," said Kashaan and they started walking back towards Saliha's house.
Saliha was cursing Roman in her mind.
She was changing her clothes in her room when her phone rang. It was Hunza. She answered the call.
"Yeah we are on our way, I got dirt on my clothes so I had to come back home and change," she said.
"What happened?" asked Hunza.
"You said wear your top and look what Roman did to me," she said, annoyed.
"Plan successfully, he is jealous," said Hunza. "Jealous?" asked Saliha, shocked.
"Yeah, he is Jealous silly, why would he react like that?" asked Hunza. "Yeah, he must be jealous of why my ass looks so beautiful than his girlfriend," she said, annoyed.
"Saliha," Kashaan called out for her again.
"Okay, I have to leave," said Saliha and she hung up the phone.
"I don't know why he did that to me, I was dancing and for the very first time, I was feeling happy doing it," said Saliha, annoyed.
"This is rude, he should have not behaved like a jerk, how could he do that?" asked Hunza, annoyed.
"He teased my body," Saliha said while turning slightly pink. Hunza looked up at her instantly.
"What do you mean? What did he do? Did he force..." Hunza was about to complete her sentence when Saliha interrupted her in the middle.
"No, it's not like that. On that night when we were at the party, I was dancing with Alex," she said.
"Who on the earth is Alex?" asked Hunza.
"Amm.. maybe some guy from senior year, I don't know about him properly," she said.
"Well, what happened to him?" asked Hunza.
"I was dancing with him, you know I don't know how to dance and then he walked in between us. I opened my eyes, he was looking at me, strange cold eyes and then started dancing with me, no it was not dance it was teasing he was teasing with my body," said Saliha, embarrassed.
"He was jealous, that's how he reacted," said Hunza.
"Jealous? Minutes ago he was dancing with some random girl and I had no right to say anything?" asked Saliha, sadly.
"Listen, listen to me, you are nothing like his sluts. He cannot touch you against your will and he cannot treat you like this," said Hunza, content.
"But I don't know what happens to me when he comes closer to me, I don't know why I feel Goosebumps, something strange happens to me," she said embarrassed.
"You should not get along with his stupid games," said Hunza, annoyed.
Saliha was lost in her thoughts.
"I don't know what happened to me, he has that control over me, I feel like I am..."
"Horny," said Kashaan, who just entered the room. He was eating an apple.
"What?" said Saliha, shocked.
"Yeah, you must be horny," he said, shrugging.
"Wait, what did you hear and how much?" asked Hunza, her eyes opened to the size of a tennis ball.
"Just the part you two were discussing the way Saliha's body reacts when a guy touches her," he said.
Saliha looked at Hunza instantly who took a deep breath.
"Luckily, this idiot did not hear what we were saying," thought Hunza. "I am not," snapped Saliha.
"Girls are easy to seduce," he said.
"What, you are being hypocrites," said Hunza.
He shrugged.
"She felt horny, that's how her body got out of control," said Kashaan.
"Eww, I am not horny," said Saliha, angrily.
"Miss Horny," said Kashaan, teasing her. She threw another pillow at him.
He chuckled.
"By the way, who is it?" asked Kashan. She cleared her throat.
"No, no one I was talking about this new body massage, it gives me good sensations," said Saliha.
He looked at the massager and then to Saliha and got up muttering something that sounded like 'girls,'.
"Where are you going?" asked Hunza.
"A Party to attend," he said.
Just then they heard loud shattering.
Saliha had gone startled. Kashan has rolled his eyes and Hunza has looked at him sheepishly.
"What is going on here?" asked Saliha.
They heard a knock this time. Saliha got up and rushed out.
"Saliha," called out Hunza from behind and then looked at Kashan. He shrugged.
They walked out disappointed.
A woman in her mid-40s was standing there and she had a glass in her hand.
She was unable to walk properly. She almost fell when Kashan held her on time.
"Mom," he said.
"Kashaan, honey, you're home so late," she said. Hunza rolls her eyes.
"She is coming late in the morning, last night she disappeared and now she is telling you that you have come late," said Hunza, annoyed.
"Hunza," said Kashan, giving her a sigh.
"Yeah, go on defend her now," she said, angrily and walked out of the house.
"Hunza," called out Saliha.
"Baby, give me another shot," said the woman.
"Mom please, you have already drunk so much," said Kashan.
"Who are you to tell me what should I do or not, you are just a snake-like your father, setting your nose in someone else's business," said the woman annoyed and then she pushed her son away, he almost fell on Saliha.
His expression turned, angry.
The woman was now walking up the stairs but then she stopped and narrowed her eyes towards Saliha.
Saliha looked at her awkwardly.
"Who is she?" asked the woman.
"She is our friend," said Kashan.
"I have never met her parents in our circle meetings, don't tell me you are dating a beggar," said the woman.
Saliha gasped.
"Mom," said Kashan, annoyed.
"If you want to make out with such rags...." Said their mom during hiccups.
"Mom, you are drunk, please leave," said Kashan, annoyed. The woman gave Saliha a tough look and walked up the stairs.
"Saliha, I am sorry. My mother..." he said sheepishly.
"It's okay," said Saliha awkwardly.
"We need to find Hunza...before she starts smoking again," he said. "What? She smokes?" Saliha was shocked.
Kashaan took a deep breath.
"She does when she is upset and it badly hurts her body," he said, sadly.
