Chapter 46 Armani New Girl
Andrew smiled. "Thank you once again for your purchase, I can assure you that she will like-- no, love this! It is very modest and white signifies a cool and calm color."
"Thank you for your help, I hope I haven't made you lose your trip?" Chris' brow arched.
"No but you will if you keep me here." Andrew laughed softly.
Chris let out a soft chuckle. "Ah alright, have fun at your-- did you say cruiser? Well, have fun there."
"Thank you once again." Without wasting any more time, Andrew got into his black Benz and drove away. "Someone more important than his own legally married wife?" He asked himself as he drummed softly with his fingers on the steering wheel. "If it's not his mother or sister then... He's such a jerk."
His phone vibrated from the holder and he picked it up. "Didn't I connect this thing to the car?" He muttered the question to himself as he flashed a glance at the phone to see the caller. "Hey siri," he chanted.
"Uh huh?" Siri responded.
"Connect my phone to the car." He commanded and the artificial intelligence did as it was told.
Then he answered the call. "Rick, what's up?"
"Andrew, where are you, dude?" Rick seemed impatient.
"Chill bro, I'm not even late. I'm going to be there on time, I just had one last minute sale." He explained. "You know it will only take me a few minutes from work to get there."
"Yeah but you bought the wine right?"
"Oh shit!" Andrew cussed. "I totally forgot about that. Hold on, I see a small mart just up ahead, I'll stop there and get something nice."
"None of what they have in a small mart will be nice and you know that." Rick expressed irritatedly.
"Yes but it will be drinkable." Andrew pulled up just outside the mart and stepped down. His eyes landed on one heck of a killer car. "Oh you should be looking at this car in front of me right now. My Benz is nothing compared to it. It almost looks like the car I sold to Romeo Armani."
"What would Romeo's car be doing by a small mart? You know that rich block head, he won't take anything except if it's the best of the best and I doubt a small mini mart will be his ideal spot." Rick explained.
"Yeah I know, he's just like you." Andrew teased. He stared intently at the car. "But dude, I really think it's Romeo's. You know what, I'm going to investigate. I'm heading inside the mart and don't worry, I'll buy something nice and drinkable."
"Alright just be here on time okay? We ought to be here before Romeo, we can't make him wait. Remember it's a pre-birthday celebration." Rick insisted.
"Oh for fck's sake, I've heard you dad. I won't be late." Andrew rolled his eyes and hung up.
He stared for more than another second at the car before walking into the mini mart.
A young lady hurried to meet him as she heard the door open. "Hello and welcome..." Her words hung in her mouth as she stared at him.
His tanned skin, handsome face, smoothly trimmed beard and mesmerizing eyes. He was something from a novel that came to life.
Her eyes looked at him from head to toe. His choice of cloth was a black suit shirt and trouser and a black dress shirt on the inside. A diamond wrist watch clung onto his wrist like it belonged there, like he was born with it and his neatly shone shoe probably cost more than the entire mart and everything inside. A diamond earring pierced both of his earlobes.
She could see his chest from the way he unbuttoned two of the first buttons on his dress shirt.
If only she hadn't seen an emerald eyed god earlier, she would have said the man in front of her was the most handsome man she had ever seen.
Andrew smiled, a flirtatious and mesmerizing smile to match his sexy light brown eyes.
"Hey, Darla, what exactly is this thing you chose?" Romeo asked as he walked towards her, eyes on the package in his hand. "It isn't exactly stated how to use it and I am afraid she won't know it's use as well."
"Romeo?" Andrew called out.
Romeo finally raised his head and looked up. His eyes leaving the package in his hand. "Andrew?"
"What in the actual fck are you doing here?" Andrew asked with a slight chuckle as he went to hug his friend. His eyes landed into the basket in Romeo's hand and his brow arched as he stepped back after the hug. "Shopping for sanitary pads and tampons and I don't even wanna know what else?"
Romeo had totally forgotten what he was holding. He smiled and handed the basket to Darla. "Yeah uhm just something for the females in our group to hold on to in case of emergencies."
"Thoughtful, rich and hot, you're the total package dude." Andrew teased.
Romeo let out a soft chuckle. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh uh... So sorry to say this but the group entrusted me to buy the finest whiskeys and wines but I forgot because of work so I am here to buy anything I can find. Was on the phone with Rick a while ago and then I saw your car outside and I knew it was yours."
"Ah... A man knows his products." Romeo said and they shared a chuckle. "Anyway, I don't think there will be anything here we can drink. The ship will obviously have a vast collection of drinks to select from so I don't find this necessary."
"I knew you would say that." Andrew teased. "But you know Rick and Jastrow, they'll flip if I don't buy this. They always want to have a secret stash of drinks to sip from in their bedroom plus, these are for drinking games."
"We have fine wine just like the two of you." Darla suddenly spoke up. "I'll surprise you."
"Oh I'll be surprised all right." Andrew looked her up and down flirtatiously and she blushed foolishly.
Romeo smirked and tapped his friend, telling him not to try anything without actual words.
Andrew's face scrunched into a confused expression. "Wait did you say girls? Isn't it just Camilla?"
"Huh? Oh no I invited someone else."
"Holy shit, Armani has a girl..." Andrew stated.
