Chapter 7 Principal Menon

Miss Sorte was standing behind Shrey; Shrey blinked twice and stood there frozen. "Good morning, ma'am," Miss Sorte greeted the principal.

She did notice Shrey from afar, and that was the reason she approached the principal, and Shrey was standing frozen on her spot.

George’ POV

I was talking to the principal of the college and was absolutely bored and tired, as yesterday itself me and my cousin brother landed in India, and I decided to get my brother Jonathan, aka Joe, enrolled in this college as it was near where we were going to stay.

The principal was busy showing me the college personally, as now I am the trustee of the university.

It wasn’t needed, but she insisted, and as she is the elder, I wasn’t able to say no, not out of respect but because I am new here and need to interact and blend well.

“Good Moring, Ma’am” one voice chirped from behind, I turned around only to find the familiar face from few hours, she smiled to the principal and then she looked towards me,

I raised my right eyebrow and suspiciously looked at her and checked her up and down just to know what was going in her mind as her principal was talking to her, and she was busy gawking at me, but she wasn’t making it obvious like other girls do.

I know I’m handsome, and almost every woman I met desires either my body or my money, and she seems similar to them.

I folded my hands at last, carefully observing her as the principal called her, but she didn’t respond, so I signalled by moving my eyes and tilting my head in a tiny direction towards her principal for her to pay attention to what she was saying.

But before the principal could say something to her, another teacher approached us. I sighed and put my hands in my pockets and looked at them all.

I was amazed when I saw the girl named Shrey, as mentioned by her principal, frozen in her spot and eyes widening upon hearing her voice.

"Good morning, ma'am," the other professor said, but instead of looking towards the principal, she was looking at the girl from above her glass, and then she fake smiled at me.

Oh, it was weird. I mean, she is weird; from her look, anyone can predict what will happen if the principal and I go away from here right away.

She would surely drag her from here and scold her for like a few minutes straight.

"Miss Sorte, I guess you need to go check your glass." The principal said, with a hint of sarcasm in her stern voice, "Pardon, ma'am."

"Yeah, I mean, I am right here in front of you, but while you're wishing me good morning, you’re focused somewhere else." At this point, even I would have been pissed for my juniors at work to be disrespectful.

"I’m sincerely sorry for my behavior, ma'am." "Forget it, Shrey, please show Mr. Hemsworth around," she said. I looked towards the girl she was talking about; her eyes held unknown sparkles or lights.
