Chapter 60: Little girl?

Viola took her time freshening up. She wanted to get rid of the fatigue. By the time she was done and went downstairs, she found Vance already seated in the living room. He seemed to be making a call. Even though he appeared serious on the phone, he slouched on the couch, two of his upper buttons on the shirt were open, and he looked so languish. Just doing that already brought out the charm in him. Viola had to admit that among all the men he had come across, Vance topped the list as the most handsome man. The more she thought about it, the more she realized that her taste back then was weird. Even though he ex-husband looked good, his looks could only be said to be average. When she looked around the mansion, she noticed maids sneaking peeks at him. Vance seemed unaware as he was focused on the phone call. It looked as though he was giving out instructions to someone. Since that was the case, Viola walked to the living room quietly and took a seat opposite him.
She didn't want to disturb him.

Coincidentally, as soon as the call ended, the maids also finished serving food.
"Let's go. The food is ready." As Viola said this, she stood up and led him over. Vance had no objections, so he followed her to the dishing room. He was starving.
As a doctor, Viola knew what Vance should eat. She had instructed the kitchen to do that before she went upstairs. When Vance looked at the dishes placed before him, his lips twitched. He liked meat, not vegetables!
"There's no meat." Vance looked at Viola and said. It was as if he was whining.
"You have a weak stomach. The vegetables will help for the time being." Viola explained. She looked so serious as she said this.
Vance almost questioned her, but he remembered that she was a doctor. She knew better. His heart hurt when he saw the meatballs in Viola's dish. It tortured him to see that, but what could he do? He had gastroenteritis!

"Then, can I sleep here for the night?" Vance asked cautiously. He knew Viola's temper was terrible sometimes. He didn't want to anger her. That's why he used the gentle approach.
Viola looked at Vance's cold and overly handsome face and wondered what had come over him. They weren't as rich as he was. Neither did they hold such insurmountable power as him. Then, what exactly did the guy want?
She wanted to directly reject him, but when she saw the pleading look in his eyes, she sighed and gave in.
"Alright, but you have to leave tomorrow. " Viola said.
"Okay." Vance had no issue with that.
When he went back to Viola's bedroom, he received a file sent by his therapist.
The therapist told him that he had yet to deeply analyze the situation deeply, and he advised Vance to spend more time in the place where he slept so peacefully after so many years.
That was the main problem. After pondering for a while, Vance composed a text and sent it to his therapist.
"Then, how do I trick the little girl into allowing me to stay a little bit longer at her place?"
When the therapist read the text, he felt as though he was dreaming. After rubbing his eyes severally, the text still remained.
And wait, little girl?
What little girl?
Was his client becoming a pedophile?!
